Thank you so much for the summary of the whole story! I just finished the manga and I was confused with all the information we got kicked with this last chapter. Thanks to you, it's all clear now! I think that the end is very fitting to the story. This world is filled with mystery, we don't truly know what happened to our two protagonists. Their story didn't change their world, it was just the life of two beings meetings each other. My interpretation of the ending is as they are both a side of the same being I think that they somehow merge and the 'Sheeva' Albert is talking to is with in himself and not physically there. They went to Sheeva's favourite place, next to her aunt to share their final moment together and final breath, as they were inevitably going to transform at the end with all the transfer of soul that happened.
What confused me at the end is how the black child shiva made me think that neither of them could exist at the same time because of how deteriorated the pure soul became. I also thought Albert was slowly becoming human again because he was getting his memories and senses back! I want to know what happened to his family, what the kingdom will do and if either of the god will get their bodies back and what happened to shiva and Albert at the end 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Thanks for the explanation! I was so confused on several points, especially the soul exchange part, that it made my brain melt and I couldn't fully grasp it. I also thought that Shiva was his actual daughter, so when the whole "I am only a vessel" dialogue kicked in, I was so confused. So, since the current Shiva is not his real daughter, does it mean that they have a romantic relationship, or is it still purely father-daughter? because the dark child had expressed multiple times that it loves Albert. I also read the additional bonus chapters where Albert is seen with his broken leg and horn with Shiva picking apples and heading back to their cottage, so I like to imagine that they did not die at the end and lived happily ever after.
Like I said in the video, the soul transfer mechanic seems to work like the Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 soul transfer mechanics (outside of having the body fall apart faster every transfer), so I would encourage comparing the two to get a better grasp. Because Albert's soul designed Shiva to look like his daughter, and the Outsider lived & loved through Shiva- I would say familial love.

Do they finally make up? I want to hear anyone's thought, even though it's a silly ones
The God of Light is implied to live in the sky, the God of Darkness is still in the pond. It isn't implied the two gods made up. The kingdom isn't implied to have fallen, nor the humans. But who replaces the king and if what happened at the church shook anyone's faith is not known to the audience.
