Those lights look sweet hopefully you don't have any legal issues with them being red and facing forward. Another idea you could do switch them out for the amber color and wire them into your turn signals. Now all that thing needs is some underglow and it'll be set

Ya. But there isn't express wording prohibiting forward facing blue, green purple etc. There is for red. Cannot be viewed from the front of the vehicle in many states. I'd pick amber or the other colors but avoid red and blue for peace of mind
Looks like the lights would be to bright to run at night unless you have a dimmer switch to turn them down. A nice ride lot of difference than the Volvo the both have their advantages one good for the road and one for parking. Keep up your great videos In joy them. In Texas, red lights facing forward, even chicken lights, is a big $ ticket. Amber or white only facing forward. I suspect it is the same on the east coast.
No one cares anymore, guys are running purple, blue, red etc. I run all green marker lights and I don't have issues, even going through the Truckee scales on Donner. If I do have an issue it's a stupid non moving violation... scary.
Are you allowed red lights forward facing? It looks great. I just no some states don't allow any red or blue on the front of vehicles so that they don't appear first responders. As EMS is Red and Amber.
When you go too change the air filters you will need to undo that bottom bracket that holds the mirror and loosen it where it connects to the cab so it can be moved around otherwise the air filter won't have enough clearance to come out

I had blue Parker lights in the head lights and got told to take them out by the the useless cops here Victoria Australia We can't have no blue and or red light in the front and I think having blue light on the back is not good also Because they are emergency vehicle colours.

Take the lid back off and get your 9/16 and take the nuts off inside then list the perforated basket up and turn it so the seam is toward your truck and bolt back down, that seam looks terrible out there… also maybe use some weatherproof connectors while u are at it. Then you got something that looks good and will last 👌
Funny how many people are worried you can't have red lights....they are not "forward facing" they shine from inside. I've had my red lights in the air cleaners and under the cab for years and never once ticketed or even said anything to about it even when I got a DOT inspection in a Kentucky scale house, they officer just complimented me on how he thought it looked good
Best not run thru Massachusetts with those Forward Facing Red Lights. Big No-No in these parts. Also, I believe it's called "Friction Tape" like for hockey sticks.
I roll through Massachusetts routinely on my way to Maine, all green marker lights, never an issue. If I do get stopped, I flip the switch and they are amber, and I get a big scary non moving violation... oh the horror
