Hey man looks good, if you get ahold of kyrell over there at horse n buggy you can do a glass cab light conversion retain your factory cab light housings I’ve done it this the truck in my photo and one of my old trucks
I know you concerned about the heat from light keeping lense dry but leds will save batteries and alternator and they will shine brighter. Also try small watermelon lights behind breather and you can put 5 back there.
If these bulbs do start giving me problems I will change them to the leds but as I said in the video I think I just want to have that old school look to it and bulbs was old school... and what kind of small watermelon-lights are you talking about and do they have bulbs or leds.??

Love those lights! LQQK'N GOOD! As a metal fab. a few small tack welds would be plenty for something that size. What I mean is a tack weld is about an 1/8" long dot of weld. Put them around at different clock positions. Like 3 or 4 places. I know you're not a welder, I wasn't either at one point in time. We live and learn, someone taught me! Just passing on knowledge. You did it, it works, they aren't going anywhere, looks bad ass! Great job! Love your truck!

Mannn I got a box of Breaking Bad stickers from when I went on a (2) Week Road trip in 2020 during the Pandemic, drove from Texas to Colorado for a Drag Racing event called Mountain Race Week - passed through Albuquerque, New Mexico otw home, and bought a whole bunch of Breaking Bad stickers from a shop down there owned by a super fan named Ed. Hey GoNetIT... i do plan on it.. I was telling my son that we need to do that while we was messing with them lights and had the breathers off... I was going to get some the last time I was at the chrome shop but they didn't have no red ones..
Unit looks great! And the key is you did it yourself....pride! Love the way every time you speak of your boss man, the amount of respect in your voice. Sylvania makes a 1156 and 1157 base LED bulb. Will plug in exactly as incandescent bulb. Model 7506SYLLED is the 1157 I think. Roadworks makes mini LED watermelon lights. If you truck has the factory door stops to keep the door from slamming into air cleaner, I believe they will fit on back side of air cleaner without hitting door. They come with 3 wire so you can wire on high side. Roadworks mini watermelon HERO lights. The mirror light....take stud out and get stainless steel bolt to thread in. If you grind the head down halfway, it should give you the clearance you need under mirror. Just my 2 cents Amigo
Didn't ever think about doing mirror lights like that... you got me thinking now ... I would have to get a hollow bolt for the wire to run threw.... yep I think I need to find a hollow bolt now... glad you said that.. that didn't even cross mind
Yeah u know when I got the light I just wanted 1156 the single wire lights but they only had a few so I got the 2 wire 1157 lights to... so I would have plenty to do it.. my idea was to not have the blinkers there anymore cause I want to put some old style lights on the top of fenders and didn't want to have all them other lights blinking as well..

Great job by you and your Son. It also made me laugh, thinking way back with my Dad and myself. Asked him to teach me how to weld, Man did I really screw up. while he was at work one day. I killed two rolls of wire, and messed up, sorry Burned up all his sheet metal in his shop. Did I learn anything? NO. Wire loom look very nice and neat. I was really good with lacing cable harness using wax coated string, a lost art. Yes the watermelon lights soo sweet looking compared to what was on the rig before. By the way, your son sure looks good behind the wheel. Has he asked you yet? lol
No he ain't asked yet.. don't know if he ever will... the watermelons do look great and classic looking with the incandescent bulbs... sure hope they work good...

Not sure if they are bulbs or led but it will allow you to put more lights behind breather they are much smaller

Motorcycle supply shops. Most turn signal wire runs through mounting stem. I have Chris Products on my 389 mirrors. Stay safe Buddy

They are grand general brand they come all in one piece and I got them empire chrome shop in West Memphis

They was incandescent bulbs in them but I have done Changed them out to some different ones..... I kept having problems with the glass lens lights
