NEW KastKing SPEED DEMON ELITE Baitcasting Reel Centrifugal Brake Adjustment - KastKing

- KastKing has released the new KastKing Speed Demon Elite baitcasting reel which is truly the world’s fastest baitcasting reel. It is not only the fastest gear ratio reel in the world but also has key features and the widest range of braking adjustment available today. A key feature on the Speed Demon Elite casting reel is the exterior adjustable, "Micro-Control Demon Eye" that allows the angler to fine tune the centrifugal braking system without opening the side cover. Follow these setup instructions to prevent backlash and overruns.
SPEED DEMON ELITE Baitcasting Reel Centrifugal Brake System Adjustment
To operate this system effectively the angler will begin by opening the side cover to access and adjust the 6 individual centrifugal braking pins located on the side of the aluminum spool. You can turn "off" or "on" any combination of the 6 pins or, you can turn them all on, or all off. The more pins that you have turned on by sliding them to the "on" position, towards the outside of the spool, the more braking control your reel will have. You will then close the side cover and lock it in place.
Nine Levels of Brake Adjustment
Once this step is done, you can now "Micro-Control" your Speed Demon Elite centrifugal braking system from the outside of the fishing reel, without removing the side cover. The Demon Eye gives you nine levels of additional micro adjustment to fine tune the braking on your reel, virtually eliminating any backlashes or overruns.

Got mine yesterday I am new to bait casting so this was great is there any chance to get sane for setting up the drag levers on the handle might be stupid question to ask I played with mine yesterday and went quite well without knowing all brakes off when it comes in box would be great to have manual for this reel the one it comes with is not easy to understand and is not for the same reel must say I love the reel so far well made and nice feel in the hand 👍👍👍👍

There is no need for that much speed in a reel imo. 7:1 is my go to ratio I don't really go lower or higher. I have a 6 speed and never use it
Hi there. Speed in a reel is good especially for tournament fishing or just trying to get your line in.
Once you reel a lure past the strike zone you can retrieve line much faster. Helping you to cover more water faster. It's a great reel for throwing search baits if your just trying to locate fish. But i use mine on my frog rod. And i love the speed and breaking power it gives me to horse a big bass out of the slop lol
