Damac Properties Posts 68% Profit Drop

- Nov.15 -- Dubai's real estate struggles are highlighted by the latest results from Damac Properties. The company saw a 68% drop in profit in the last quarter. Adil Taqi, the company's chief financial officer, spoke to Bloomberg's Yousef Gamal El-Din about the earnings.
I've lived in a new Damac building for 15 months now, and I can tell you that the project Damac Hills is an utter and total sham! The amount of issues villa owners/tenants have had is both mind-boggling and scary at the same time. I'm just surprised that no one has died from an accident, which I believe is looming with the amount "issues" popping up. Just recently fuse boxes inside of the villas started burning after a rain shower in Dubai. To fix an electrical issue Damac sent a civil engineer instead of an electrical engineer. And work is never done by anyone certified, it's done by people who have no idea of what they're doing at all.
And another thing Damac did on the "new" villas was to install smaller piping in the toilets so when you flushed toilet paper down, it always got stuck. After complaining about the sewer smell coming out of the toilet Damac sent a crew over who basically just said, "Sir, we installed smaller pipes before but now we change to standard pipes"
After my experience, and the experience of my neighbors, I would never recommend anyone purchasing in Damac Hills, it's just a big sham.

have bought an unit in or Damac projects in Jumeirah Village Circle Tower 108 and it is my WORST experience ever.
I'm honestly afraid, that what will be Dubai's future after World Expo 2020. May God Almighty have his mercy...Aam'en...All my best wishes & Good luck

Dubai has its own way of economy growth which people don’t talk about, what people talk about is only about the economy drop just to make people loose confidence. I wish the rulers of dubai for all the efforts and struggle they put to make dubai stand among the Middle East.

You can tell where he grew up and was educated based on his accent. UAE rulers live in America more than UAE. Between cali and dc. The Qataris and Saudis too. I see the arab royals frequently in dmv 🇺🇸

If you been to Dubai the car museum of ksn11 aka one of the Dubai sultan sons collection have California plates and Virginia plates on the cars. I been here whole my life . If you got your life in order and your properties abroad . Dubai is ideal for the people who are looking for a city that clean safe and grow and have fun . It's caters for the Rich that why you see the palm and emirates hill fill with billionaires .
