It's really no big deal and most of the time there is no problem being careless. But those few times it does happen, it's a God dam pain in the ass to diagnose and repair on most modern cars. Computers cant always tell you exactly what it is, and sometimes shut off other components do avoid damage, makes it way more "fun" to diagnose. Then getting access to an injector is an f-in process, and the same dam processes you just did on the dang thing. 😂 Some things it pays to take the extra precautions 👍

Who doesn't do that? Or pull the injectors before pulling the head. Maybe car mechanics need to learn something from the diesel side.
