- Dreadbox Hypnosis, the popular 80's-inspired multi-fx processor made a comeback as a reissue for desktop & Eurorack. It's now a mono multi-FX, has patch points, and is available as a pre-soldered DIY kit for +/- 240€.
It features the same effects, including a BBD-based analog chorus/flanger, a hybrid delay, and a spring reverb with a tank. Plus, you get a built-in LFO.

Great presentation. Module sounds fantastic. I had no idea no-solder DIY was a thing! Would love to see more of that in the eurorack space.

i love that little size case you have, i've really been wanting to build a new system about that size. Do you make your cases yourself? I saw you had that big one made out of a travel case, i've always wanted to do that also!
this module is pretty sweet though, looks fun to use and build
thanks for watching :) No, I don't make my cases myself. the little case is a 4ms Pod64X (powered) case. With a good power brick, it's a great portable travel case. The other case is an Arturia Rackbrute. Cheers Tom

In Zeiten wo der Algorithmus das Sagen auf CZcams hat, muss man dagegen was machen womit man das Interesse der Leute weckt. Das was noch menschlich möglich ist Mit Thumbnails die banal sind, fällst du nicht auf und das Video dümpert herum. Und somit wird es an noch wenigere Leute ausspielt wie es schon wird. Sorry so ist das. "Stuck in the 80s" ist dabei nichts was reisserisch ist wie "a must have oder game-changing module". Ich kann verstehen dass das einigen Leuten nicht gefällt aber so ist das mal. Das wichtigste ist eh der Content. LG Tom
@@synthanatomyLol...I get it. I'm just one of those odd people who is LESS likely to click on a video if there is a goofy, fake shocked expression in the thumbnail. I love Rick Beato, and I skip plenty of his videos just because of the thumbnails. As for content producers, everybody has to bow to "the man" sometimes, even if "the man" is an algorithm.
