My favorite part is when Jerry literally looks at the engine of a car, and then when Rick opens it, a bunch of springe and cogs jump out like Jerry still thinks that's how they operate

I almost wonder how much of that was Jerry's ineptitude and how much was Rick's perceived image of Jerry's ineptitude as a result of their melded minds. Then I remembered this show isn't nearly that deep.

I think you’re getting two episodes mixed up. The scene where Rick is looking through things and gears are popping out is when he’s in bird mans brain trying to save him. But bird man never took notice to any of ricks gadgets but he was looking for a device to pull them both out of birdmans mind. But because bird man didn’t really care he only thought of ricks stuff as gears and springs . That’s all his consciousness could imagine in his brain. The episode where Jerry’s brain gets scrambled with ricks is when they become jericky lol and Rick blows his brains out once he puts himself in Jerry’s brain due to all the memories with jerry and Beth. (My assumption) car puts them back together but because they were already scrambled she wasn’t able to put them fully back together which in return created jericky.
The fact that Jerry has misremembered Space Shuttles as a term for a single Space Shuttle to the point that he remembers the tour guide saying the same thing cracks me up

@@rodri1030tour guide refers the the space shuttle as “a space shuttles”. Jerry doesn’t realise that the term for a singular space shuttle is just that, and thinks that you refer to them individually, not plurally, as space shuttles. He has that so firmly in mind that his memory has changed so that the tour guide is saying the same thing

The implication being that he somehow misheard, and subsequently misremembered what the tour guide actually said in the tour which reinforced, or perhaps sparked his belief that "space shuttles" is the singular form of space shuttle, and not plural.
I love how Slow Mobius wife goes through the same thing as Rick but does 180 at the end, that says a lot

TBF the wife still had her kids, Rick didn’t. Which really isn’t given enough attention by the show as it should since losing your child would mess you up more than losing a spouse. I’m pretty sure it’s one of the painful things a person could experience.
If Rick Prime didnt kill our Rick’s Beth when he killed Diane with that bomb, there’s a chance he could’ve traveled for a bit but then return to earth and moved on from finding Rick Prime because he would have the final remaining piece of Diane and her legacy: his daughter. From the sounds of it: Rick Prime’s first world was our Rick’s world and then killed her and then after x amount of worlds he made the Omega Device.

6:50 smalllll detail, but the first Mr.Poopybutthole was dominant in a different hand than the other Mr.Poopybutthole that took his place. (one of them holds the fork on the right, while the other one uses the left. Thats why the wife was sus of him.)
I honestly think it is an animation error. If you looked at the previous frames, the fork and knife were positioned differently and they swapped places before he touched them.
Thats not why his alternate wife is suspicious of him, the PB he replaced didnt smell of booze and BO which she woulda smelled when she went to kiss him

Exact difference between avarage men vs. average women. Men overly depressed after losing someone he loved, can't let go a part of his own. Women can easily attach to someone else in lover's abscence.

I just noticed:
The replaced PB holds the knife in the left hand, while our PB holds the fork in the left. Maybe That is why got suspicious.
Could be an error though, since he does not switch it, rather it is flipped form one scene to the next.

it's a continuity error, the placement of the fork and knife on the table just switched from one angle to another (if you look closely)

I would argue it was intentional despite the strange scene flipping of the utensils as PB clearly holds the fork up in his left hand right as the wife side eyes him suspiciously.
Honestly a good and enjoyable season, some of the episodes didn’t hit but a lot were really enjoyable
They should have had more subplots instead of focusing on the same thing for the entire episode
Tbf previous seasons suffer the same even worse with their boring skippable episodes. This season was top tier compared to those

This is why Ricks conflict is deep because his inability to let go causes him to act like a baby and creates a repeated cycle, Rick hates himself and can’t take responsibility so instead of doing what Diane would want him to do in good faith, he chose to stay stuck in the cycle of his own hate,wallow and pitty as the smartest man alive, hence the finite curve
Rick didn't only lose his wife, he also lost his daughter as well.

I feel like Season 7 had the perfect ratio of cannon and episodic episodes compared to the previous season
I especially liked the ending fear episode as it was a perfect which also had a mix of episodic and cannon feel with the introduction of Diane and the use of the fear hole giving us more insight of Morty
The show was never about heavy canon, and the over-reliance on it here is the most obvious sign that they're getting desperate.

She found something to live for. This never happened with Rick, he shut everyone out of his life, and distancing himself from others. I think the pickle Rick episode dropped the bomb with the therapist scene, they could've very much mentioned the asocial aspects of Rick's personality that effects everything he does. Idk what they were going with, but it could've been way more impactful

Personally, I think Diane was thrown into the Omega device after Rick's Diane was killed with his Beth, or maybe she was teleported to the device right before the bomb killed Beth.

The writers show that Jerry is clueless about machinery yet they animate the entire catridge being fired from a revolver. Notice when he opens the cylinder that there are no casings either, just one full catridge.
In all fairness, Jerry’s mind is essentially what all technology challenged people think about. Some of us are curious on how it’s built, and some of us just don’t care so long as we know the device’s function and to not break it.
Gerry gets a job at a nuclear power plant and thinks its all springs and gears lol.

Its just much worse, the show lost its meaning to me, each episode is like a self contained story with some cheesy stupid jokes as if they ran out of stuff. In the other seasons they put a lot of elbow grease into each and every episode, leaving small easter eggs and each episode made sense in a linear way. Now it's just all over the place. Comparing what it is now to what it was is like comparing family guy to south park.

About the Memory Rick thing: one problem that no one seems to notice is that he isn’t a genius like Rick. He is the memory of Birdman who also wasn’t a genius like Rick.
So while Rick literally built technology from the Viking age in the Viking episode, Memory Rick can’t do that because he doesn’t know how.
