Djokovic versus Sinner in the Finals was the best performance of the year. Only 2 unforced errors in the first set, and 90% first serve is insane.

@@F-F01I don't think so, the rallies were good but at the ATP finals Djokovic was at a ridiculous level on his serve and forehand which he hit at 140 km/h on average against Sinner.
@@F-F01 Cincy finals was bad until the very end of the second set. Sure, it was close, but that's because both were not playing well. The final set was very good tho.
Djokovik's level of tennis in the match with Sinner in the ATP final was above that with Alcaraz; that match had to be shown

Wish we could see a match between this 2023 36 y/o Djokovic and the 2017 36 y/o Federer. Both had such amazing seasons and redlined their games even though they were the “grandpas”

@@SJ-di5zu It's was especially impressive since after that Indian Wells match (+Wimbledon), it felt like Alcaraz would never lose to Meddy again. The serve-volley, serve-drop shot and other ways he exploited Daniils court positioning seemed unbeatable.

Alcaraz was unstoppable against Medvedev at IW and Wimbledon (besides 3rd set). Alcaraz vs Medvedev brought such high quality tennis from both, even though every match was pretty one-sided besides USO
However Medvedev was prepared at the US Open. He upped his game and beat Alcaraz. Medvedev is not one to easily beat. He finds a way to win.
It's a lot more entertaining now that Meddy learned how to play against Carlos, that US Open semifinals match was of very high quality.

I'm looking at all these top players and wondering how many DON'T glare at their coach/team when things go south. They all do it: Zverev, Djokovic, Rublev, Medvedev, Murray, Tsitsipas, Sinner, even Alcaraz and Nadal. The only players who I think don't do this are Federer and Dimitrov.

Watch it again, Sinner barely played this game, probably too much pressure. It didn't take God mode to beat him, just a solid performance.
