FYI, to get matching lock & keys just buy the 1.5" lock from Harbor frieght. The are the same as whats in the units. Come in a 3 pack and cost $6.99
They should have made that mechanism spring loaded just like jungle Jim's trimmer racks

If you'll look you can easily remove the blower while locked Try it! They make a great mounting system just not very secure
All the green touch keys are key the same for the locks. I have the blower rack, weed ester racks, even the gas tank holder and purchased all at different times and all keys for each item will open each other

I just got a blower rack this year and definitely I like more a combination lock which is what my weedeater rack has. of course its green touch.
Back plate is definitely to high and the holder bolts into the back ..

Does it fit the BR 450? I only say that because the fuel tank opening is towards the back of the blower not the side
I don't believe that bar is supposed to have tension on it from green touch. neither does equipment defender. Its just supposed to turn in and hold. and the lock is the 2nd security feature. If you didn't lock the lock but the bar was in the closed position and someone came up and didn't know that turned they would pull on it aimlessly. suggest they spring tension it.
Those holders are probably for the enclosed trailer but thats.a good idea it does look clean
It mounts on the opposite side of the rack(inside the open trailer) and the tube goes as if you would be wearing it and blowing to your left, very neat. And somehow he is missing the spring that pops the handle back. You do have to open it butthe spring keeps it closed.

Haven't seen the new one. But the green paint holds up good. Good powder coat.
