  • After having the Equipment Defender Blower Rack for a week (as of August 7, 2022), I love this one SO much more than my Green Touch Industries one that I rocked for 2 1/2 years. It feels more secure in the rack, and I really love the bar that goes between the Echo PB-9010's handle and blower shroud. The PB-9010 just seemed too big for the Green Touch Industries Blower Rack.
    The only complaints I really have with the Equipment Defender Blower Rack is the instructions are basic. While you can follow them with no problem and get it installed, I think it would really help if it indicated which ones were the set screws. I would also like more hardware, specifically adding 1 more longer bolt (and bolt and washer). I had to use an old one from My Green Touch Industries Blower Rack. No big deal since I had one, but if you don't and you want to 3-point mount it, I would go to the hardware store and pick up an extra one.
    I really love the Equipment Defender Blower Rack because it doesn't scuff up my 1-week-old Echo PB-9010 like the Green Touch Industries did. If you have a small or big blower like the PB-9010, I would highly recommend getting the Equipment Defender Blower Rack over the Green Touch Industries Blower Rack. They are very good racks for supporting and securing your equipment but I agree, it was kind of a PITA. I did 2 back pack blower racks, a 4 string trimmer rack, and 2 - fertilizer back pack racks and it took me a good day and a half but worth it.

      it took you almost 2 days to install those racks? Man, that's quite a long time! I hope my video helped you some with your blower racks. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    That blower rack looks a lot better for that big ol blower! Maybe greentouch will be making a v4 that might fit those other blower better.

      They should. I love Green Touch racks. Though it fits, it's just too small for my blower. If the bar that Equipment Defender has isn't patented, it would make a great addition on the Green Touch blower rack. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Agree ED needs better instructions on which bolts to use. It was easy to figure out, but I am very mechanically inclined. Putting the rack together did not take long, but the adjustments to fit the blower may take some time.

      I think most lawn care owners who have the rack will know what to do, but it's the ones that don't better instructions would help. Overall, I love this rack more than the Green Touch Industries blower rack. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Nice Video, Have the Green industry on an enclosed Trailer. They are not bad. I see one major flaw in one you just installed.I think I can cut that topp bar pretty quick with bold cutter of a battery makita, real fast. Your better off bolting your green industries to floor of trailer in corner and also sides . It will never get stolen and is out of sight if you put wood up your sides on trailer 24 inches

      You could get whatever you want with the right tools. Things like this are deterrents, they are not meant to STOP theft 100%. If it makes it harder for someone to steal, they hopefully give up and move on to the guy that doesn't have his equipment locked up. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    The angle bracket is super awkward on the Stihl br 800 magnum. Trying to figure out how to make it work... Is it required? It feels super secure with just the lapbar.

    • @LawnCareNinja
      @LawnCareNinja  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I don't think it is required. It is a support and secure device. Maybe try mounting backwards? Having it installed increases the difficulty of anyone trying to pull out the blower. Thanks for watching and commenting!
