After years of imprisonment, Morpheus - the King of Dreams - embarks on a journey across worlds to find what was stolen from him and restore his power.
Oh it's so cool to see the comparisons between comics and film. I feel like it was improved for the screen but also kept true to the original
Can't believe Dream got mad at Hob just because he said he was lonely
Dream is not lonely,he lives in Dreaming, has a castle, has servants such as, Lucienne, Mervyn Pumpkinhead,Cain and Abel and other dreams and nightmares,he has raven companions,he had Jessamy and now he has Matthew. Don't they count as friends
@@milutinstankovic4638 they were creations/servants, not friends to Dream. Hob was someone who chose to be his friend and ironed him to friendship.
@@milutinstankovic4638 they have obligations per their designs towards the dreaming. As hob said un 1889, he prob won't ever ask for death, and dream knows ir already. They are Friends, hanging out every know and then
Jessamy counts as Dream's friend, she was his companion before Matthew and Dream was attached to her,he was sad when she died and he didn't want Matthew to replace her, this is why he punished Alex Burgess,he killed Jessamy
@@milutinstankovic4638 Alex kept Dream locked up for a century despite saying he would release him.
Dream had over 100 years to brood over losing his only true friend.
Thinking about it now. Death (his sister) gave him a gift of friendship.
It's probably her and Delirium that love him the most
He seems to dress up as a gentlman of the appropriate time but in 2000s he dresses up as a goth rock star. lol
to be fair the comic was released in the late 80s-early 90s so that style was present day for him at the time lmaoo
80s fashion was less than kind to those who can view it in retrospect, I'm told.
A cool thing i learned after watching a video about how the show adapted the comic, in the comic dream comes out of his confinement in the 80s, so in time to meet up with Hob. now, since the show takes place in 2020-ish, they had to change went dream escapes confinement, and therefore when they reunite, which is why Dream misses the planned meeting in the 80s in the show but not the comic.
Best episode out of the entire season in my opinion
I love the season but def this is my favorite one!!
This series is EXTREMELY intriguing.. LOVE IT! Can't wait to see the next season

U should finish it asap! Its so good
@@farrel_ra I did, and I loved it.
One of my favorite episodes in the series
My fave episode of the series.
1789 Sandman is fiiiiiiineeeeee
1889 is finer tbh

They're fine in their own right of the eras.
I heard people talking about Netflix's Sandman having a spin off show,
Perhaps Hob Gadling should have a spin off show
No the sandman is actually the basis for its own wing of DC comics. You got Lucifer (the show is an INCREDIBLY loose adaptation), The Books of Magic (Harry Potter before Harry Potter), The Dreaming (set after the main series) plus a bunch of others. It’s like a whole deal.
It occurs to me that we have _Dead Boy Detectives_ before the event in _Sandman_ which serves as its inciting impetus.
I love this so much! 🥲🖤
En mi opinión, la serie superó estéticamente al comic. Me encantó!
Let him be…. He’s my guest - said Squint eyes
the best part of the season
Love the vids
HI BILLY
I love how the comic was there script
Lonely... I've heard that before from Crowley ans Aziraphale. 😁
This was probably my favorite episode from the season
Bloody Brilliant
Could anyone tell me what's the name and which issue is it from
Sandman from Netflix
The Hobs story came from Sandman the doll house tpb.
The last scene is best ever
I hope we get to see the entire story.
Dream looks less like a rocksinger and more like a billionare 😂 (not that I dislike the fashion change for the modern day one, just saying)
The only thing I didn’t like about the live action version was the hell scene, in the comic he’s telling “everyone” in hell just how powerful he is when he redeems his crown and they all let him pass through to leave. But in the show he only says it to Lucifer😕
How did Dream give him immortality?
Question...why does sandman look like a vampire in the comics?
Also, it's funny, I like this episode my dad, however, he doesn't because to him he feels like they dragged this episode on.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bagay sila.
Question what’s the author name wanna be sure I get the right comic
Neil Gaiman
Dead Space: The Last Stand
The Movie
Synopsis
After years since the moons invaded Earth and have been destroyed, leaving Earth in ruins and a lot of Necromorphs, Ezekiel Kramer, his brother, his girlfriend, and other survivors must get to Luna and release a plague that will destroy the Necromorphs and the Markers for good while a Unitologist wants to destroy it!
The cinematography captures none of the charm of the original comic frames. The fact that Morpheus is some cheap Robert Paterson(spelling?) is painful. Why does Netflix do this?
I think Tom Sturridge is amazing. He might not look EXACTLY like his comic book counterpart, but that is not because they didn't try that. They just decided on something a bit less drastic. His voice, however, is the direct representation of those black speech bubbles. And I think the cinematography did a good job compiling the comic book frames into moving images. You will always have to adapt to the medium you're telling a story in.
(and, fun fact, Tom is actually good friends with Robert Pattinson, so make of that what you will).
Tom Sturridge did say they nailed the comicbook accuracy of the novel when it comes to morpheus's look and he said "I wouldve rocked comic con" but it just didn't feel legit for live action, like it just pulled you out of the show. He is still great though.
You do realize that Neil Gaiman's responsible for the casting choice for the Netflix adaptation, right? You're literally critical of the original creator's choices. Oof man. Talk about being uninformed.
The casting is perfect I couldn’t think of a better person to play Morpheus
