Hi Roy, I steered away from rollercoaster after seeing the movie Rollercoaster in 1977 and it wasn’t until I was in my 40’s that I grew to trust and enjoy them 😬 gotta love the Final Destination movies, although I still hate flying 🫣 Don’t Look Now is a film that stays with you, great performances 👌 I have The Sniper as part of the Columbia Noir set but have yet to see it 🤔 there is a Spanish release of The Wind That Shakes The Barley but it’s going for €20 on amazon….🤑 The Others is an excellent watch with a cool twist, we love it too, take care mate👍😃👍
Hello Alan, the one good thing about being diagnosed with a heart condition is the wife is now officially now allowed to drag me on rollercoasters 🎢 😆 I love the seventies film. I remember watching it with my dad when I was a kid. I'm tempted for that foreign The wind that shakes the barley. What a film that was. Thanks mate. 👍
Another solid week of watches there Roy. I think I'll track down a copy of Perfect Friday. I really like Stanley Baker but certainly haven't seen enough from him. Don't Look Now isn't a film I would usually watch with it's horror aspects, but I found it captivating. Really interesting to hear your thoughts on it, and I think you're spot on about the city being such a big part and having that duality about it. I'm also a huge fan of Sutherland, and just in case you haven't seen it, I can highly recommend Eye of the Needle which the BFI released, which is a fantastic ww2 thriller, but has such a brilliant performance from him.
Hi Warren thanks. Perfect Friday is £6 in cex at the moment which is a snip considering it's a network title and unlikely to see any other releases. No I don't know that Sutherland one. I've added it to my list 👍
Hey Roy, some great watches, I felt the same with Taxi Hunter, it was fine but I have moved it on from the collection as not alot of rewatch value for me personally.
Hi Roy, I think the first 3 Final destination films got better, Part 2 and 3 are better than the first even though the first is very good, The fourth is still good but under the first three. I had a feeling you would like Sniper mate, very good film.
Not keen on the don't look now I never took to it tbh mate, the others is a favourite film of mine Nicol Kidman performance is outstanding 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💿🎥 nice watches mate ,my latest home movie watches is out tomorrow 18 😮 yes a lot cuz of bank holiday etc 👍🏻💿🎥📺🍿
I remember you saying you wasn't keen on Don't look now. Is The Others worth the 4k upgrade. Because there is a lot of shots in dark rooms it kind of puts me off a bit . I'll look 👀 forward to your watches. I do enjoy them kind of videos. 👍 cheers for watching mate 👍 ❤️
@@roybarratt5609 it's worth it if you a fan of course, but it's dark film with the curtains closed most of the time still looks nice though mate , and if you a fan and a collector is a definite pick-up

Great watches roy. That taxi hunter was alright I thought. Take care 👍
Cheers Jordan. Yep it wasn't a bad film but can't see me rewatch it anytime soon. Good luck to your toffees tonight 👍

Hey Jay thanks yep I'll trade it I think and get something I'll like better.

Hello Mark I agree fourth film is the weakest. I quite like the fifth one and the twist at the end. Yep Sniper was really cool.

@stuartgeorge2324 cheers Stuart. The bluray is OK. It took me ages to find the bluray at a decent price and then they announced the 4k lol
@@roybarratt5609 I hate that 🤪😧💿
Eye of the Needle is a great Donald Sutherland movie that you don't often see mentioned as is Klute.
You're the second person to recommend Eye of the needle now. I'll have to grab a copy.
have klute on my shelf video
@@MovieMad1 I noticed that. Criterion
Kind of regret not picking up The Sniper in my Indicator order now 🙄
Ah Rhiun you should have. I can see myself watching this a few times. Hopefully it will still be available in the next sale.
