The thing I love most about this game is it’s potential to improve in a future. The auto chess genre, allows for them to add a plethora of different new mechanics, a pvp mode, etc. there’s tons of other successful auto chesses out their such as tft and Dota auto chess that neural cloud could take great inspiriation from
One thing that I wonder is that it made character like "Vee" so sexy but it sensor it in the ultimate skill animation despite it's not that too expose on that part
Maybe Vee has a prominent nips appearance, then they censor it.
this felt like elysian realm but more casual and laid back, quite liking the game so far, the characters' designs are moderate, pretty nice, ui looks like ak, rank up system is similar to ba, farming and combat aesthetic feels like as, it's a good underdog, hope it succeeds
try to complete weekly task but end with incomplete task ' use 20 support chance'. so wanna know how do i complete that task? sorry for my bad and broken english

Neural Cloud has been a huge surprise for me. I love the rogue-like elements, and the game definitely needs some brain power pretty often as you approach the end of a level.
It's a shame the story is not the best, mainly from the lack of voice acting, but what I really liked was our character actually exists as an actual character. I hate when we the player have 3 word dialogue options and that's pretty much the extent of what we say in a whole conversation. Our character actually talks and it's so good.
Also Hubble is my favorite design out of any gacha ever. She has planets orbiting her! Love it

With the amount of dialogue it would take a lot of money for full VA unfortunately. Mica is not that big and they probably don't have budget for that. And knowing them with original Girls Frontline, it will just be longer later on. Some of GFL event story is the length of a single volume light novel even. That's how long it can be
Now imagine about Path to Nowhere, have 4 diff language dubs, CN, KR, EN, JP, and they dub all most main story chapters? Damn...
The story is the one thing that keeps making me lose interest, it’s so boring, and there never seems like there’s any sense of real urgency.
I love people have been sucking on story voice acting like it's so important like they never heard real human voice

Im gonna have to give neural cloud another try sometime. i wasnt feeling the gameplay or the characters that much when i first tried it.
I don’t like chibi style gachas and I don’t like auto battles. The two I play the most are Honkai, for almost 3 years now, and PGR. However I *love* Neural Cloud in spite of my preferences. I hope that says enough about how good it is but to add to that, the gameplay is super fun (I really like the buff tiles as a min maxxer I really want to tailor my buffs like they let you here), the characters are great, the story had me caring about the characters in the first day of playing, and the music is great (Vanguard Sound also does PGR so when I heard the similarities and realized it was the same music company it made sense.)
It is very f2p friendly since not only are lower rarity units as good as the highest rarity units, some are BETTER. You can rank up *anyone* for free. The 3 star rate is high though getting the on banner character can be rough. I always take a month f2p to evaluate a game and in 3 days I was already willing to support the game because it is that good and I was quickly convinced I will be a long term player. The packs are very fairly priced (the opposite of something like ToF…) and you get your money’s worth at whatever level you’re comfortable spending.
All in all this was a random install for me since as I said it wasn’t at Al what I usually like to play. I am glad I tried it because I love it. And people aren’t kidding when they talk about how smooth the menu is. Other games should feel intense shame that their interfaces aren’t this good.
Lastly, I’m sure many have heard about GFL “censorship” and I don’t really want to get into that, and to each their own (no shame being cast here) but the characters look cool, cute, pretty and stylish while not making me feel hesitant to play the game in public (GFL has some notoriously lewd art in it). This was done by a different team despite also being a GFL game and at least personally I love the art direction compared to other he previous game - it’s really good.
I'm having blast with this. Performance is excellent, going through menus is a breeze, combat is super fluid. I mostly doing stages without auto, it is just fun. A little tip from me - bring 2 healers, 1 tank and then 2 snipers/warriors/supports, where it asks for that. Doing a little bit less damage is ok and you can use support slots to switch units before every combat and you can never know, what crazy buff combos you can stack up. This game, for whale fishing, will focus for upgrading units, then obtaining them, like GFL. I feel, that at the endgame it will start to feel grindy, but good improvement over GFL, you dont need to log in every hour to refresh auto missions, to get resources in most efficient way. And daily routine also is very fast, you wont need to spend much time in every login. The only thing, that is behind a hard paywall, are skins, which is fine. I can agree, that this is not the most hype game in this year, but so far the best side game.

Something that sometimes I completely forgot exist in this game, back line support effect tile. Most of the time I forgot about them lol, even though they can help a lot.
Funny you say this Stix, I was just praising the new Pokemon for the ONE thing they did right, which was the smoothness of open-world to in battle transition. When a game gets something right, its nice to see.
Yup. It's rare to see, but when you catch it.. you have to give them credit.
For me this is like softcore version of gfl, what you need todo is raise your team, understanding the formation, and managing buff functions. I still at 2nd sector and it still pretty easy. Meanwhile gfl seems to be simple auto battle mechanism but its not, in end game its really hard to beat stages at EX difficulty, using regular team composition is not enough to beat those EX stages
i mean.. sector 2 SHOULD be easy lmao, the GFL difficulty spike on the dreaded 3-6 was pure stupidity on their part which just randomly hit anyone not overfarming already (aka, people who didn't come from CN) like a brick wall
lategame GFL is just having the right tools and having the slightest understanding of how to kite and where to go
lategame NC seems to be kinda the same, but a lot less forgiving so far, though i'm nowhere near having a full 5star setup
I was a bit skeptical on Neural Cloud at first because right now all I want on a gacha game is an auto attack.
And they have it.
Having 2 out of 3 starter a meta are great
3.6 ssr rate with no need for dupe is awsome
While the story may not voiced it still great and the note book really help people who want to get indeph story
Honestly love the game so much, although the rates arent a generous as PGR, the rewards definitely are especially the launch rewards. I have both the limited banner units and still have almost 90 rolls saved for next. The characters rarity also doesnt define their power. Angela a 2 star unit is the greatest support unit/unit overall and some other units such as Lam just need some investment to match/outmatch the 3 star banner ones. The story is engaging, theres always something to do. The chibis are really cute. Its honestly a really well balanced game striking almost 7-8/10 in every respect for its genre, compared to other games where youd have some 9-10s but then 1-3s if that makes sense. The autochess isnt for everyone but if youve never played, give it a try ^^

Everything on counterside is amazing besides bland gameplay, from music, story, gacha, visuals are incredible

I think what i like both of Neural clud and Nikke, is that, are games that you can play a bit and have fun, or a lot and feel satisfie, because is a rogue like one explore, takes time, yet doesnt take a lot, also is a game that i dont feel preassure, like a preassure for palying that i must open, that is something i feel with both games, in both game, i think because the gameplay is fun i an conect with the sotry, in both the storys are not complex, but intresting, in a way, in neural cloud the story has its intrest, no doubt they have a nice game
I didnt found Path to nowhere that interesting but I can share the same thought about how Neural cloud and his weird vibe can entertain me for so many hours. It is NOT the best game that I haved played this year cuz that would probably be Revived witch... But the fact that the gameplay, story, characters (personalities, design, interactions, etc etc) and others aspects are pretty decent.
btw, ofc I DO LOVE how mc is a fucking NPC who only say some stupid ass answer like others gachas, hes smart and have his own throughts and kinda personality... And that my guy, its soooooo cool.
Gotta say, Neural Cloud was a surprise, also, there is no dupes system and everything you need you can get for free (as long as you have the unit in the first place :v), got to accept it though, the story is decent, nothing more, after tackling with Path to Nowhere that, for me, equals AK and FGO in level to some degree, my standards in gacha plot have increased NGL.
PNC story is basicly the vacation for comander whove been through love and hope
If you want good gacha game plot, the OG Girls Frontline is the way to go.
Although that game is really lacking in terms of gameplay.
This on is a spin off to the original game, and it's still pretty early on, so can't say much about the story right now. If you need great story then the original one is the one to go.

I really did enjoy the game the only reason why i stop playing was because of time, but i do regret a little having to uninstal it, the only negative i could give the Game is the censorship on the ultis, but still something i can get pass, maybe if i decide to stop playing NIKKE i would go back to neutron, since right now i can't manage playing 4 gatcha games and am not planning to leave FGO and arknights anytime soon.

It's does everything great, however it's the same old gacha formula. The first Gacha that I actually find it a chore to do dailies, it's too generic. I got Hubble, Aki, Nanaka, and 3 other 3 stars, you would think that would make interesting enough, but not really. Can't wait for the other one they're making.
I was played this for 3 days, but already uninstall it. Not because of i stuck or anything. The reason is cuz i just realize, that this game is not in my preference.
But overall, this is a good game.
The minus is probably at Tutorial section which is long-ass and forceful with too many information, but almost didnt explain everything.. peace

While I can't speak about menu transitions, I'm glad there's talk about UI/UX design. Ever since I played Arknights I think about it a lot in every other game I play because I realized how rare a really good, clean, readable and easily navigable user interface is, and it looks like this game has similar UI design to Arknights at least. I don't think autochess battlers is for me though.
AFAIK, autochess or auto battlers were popularized through a Dota 2 side game and League of Legends' TFT, both of which became huge hits independently of the main games. I imagine only RTS nerds like it though lol.
Its funny because Arknights has the worst and the most unintuitive UI i've ever seen. Like for real i literally quit the game because i couldn't handle this trash interface. Base building UI is even worse.
@@miavelvet basebuilding isn't something I was referring to, but surprised by your take, I definitely find Arknights to be very readable and easy to navigate even if I don't play too often, on the other hand I play PGR very often and always find the UI and navigation (especially during events) to be confusing, and as far as I've seen other games like Honkai Impact are worse. Azur Lane is also very cluttered.
Even if Arknights isn't great for you, it objectively cannot be one of the worst coz it's pretty simple and doesn't have too many layers.

It’s a great game. I’ve been playing it since it released. I hope the video title (which I find weird and clickbaity since you seem to actually like it a lot), doesn’t put some people off playing it. It’s one of the best.
Okay i cant get around writing a few points about the video, both around the game and the video itself.
First, about the video, when portraying stuff like the ingame tutorial where you struggled, having the background music running barely hearable, together with the faintly sounding opening song you used as your background music, its off. It sounds bad, you hear sounds that seem out of place and undersell the sound design of both the song and general background music.
About the Game and your opinions. Obviously opinions are opinions, its your decisions what you think. Just a few nods.
If the story is weak, consider playing through the end of chapter 2 at least and then talk about story again. We have at core a war-drama here that slowly builds up but starts moderately strong as well. Its not a "it gets good at x" but "it starts good and slowly increases more" which is why many dont realise the decent level it already starts at, cause the spikes arent as intense up to chapter 2's end.
The difficulty and brute-forcing, its a thing of course. Still Strategy does a lot and really isnt hard. Thats why it is "Auto-Chess", certain unit types do certian things which you gotta learn by watching. The game is much less idle than many Gacha, you need to like strategy for the game to actually blossom fully.
And picking a beauty-maniac as an example of negative characters seems a bit off. Maybe try more characters with higher friendship levels to see and feel more different character traits. Persicaria, Vee, Croque and Betty each are way different from each other, and this goes for every character. From charming and motherly, to maniac, shutin and hyper, you get em all, if you want it.
And as good as you say the transitions and UI are....they also can lag badly even on modern phones. So yes, even i see negatives.
So in short, do you intently cut very short on stuff you could expand on much more cause you prioritise your sole favourites just too much?
And a pinch more in sound editing would really do a lot for minor issues in the video.

I am really glad i decided to give Neural Cloud a chance! It is definitely extremely smooth and snappy for a gacha game, much like Arknights. I get exactly what they mean by referring to it as an "auto chess game" It's a tactical rpg with rts elements, TRPGs in general are like advanced chess games to me, and the units battle in real time, automatically. The most confusing part of the game to me was the fact that the units mostly battle on their own, and just getting a feel for what exactly i should be doing while they're fighting. I was more than happy to have the complexity of maintaining tactical skills and the unit's special ability and selecting passives between battles, since the game plays itself beyond that.
Story line is not great. But Game play is so amazing.
I've absolutely been loving my time with Neural Cloud. I've played a lot of games with great stories, but I still think Neural Cloud does a great job in this department.
The combat isn't anywhere near my style, but I think the upgrading system in the stage maps is so interesting that it makes up for it. Also the music and ultimate animations are extremely cool. Progressing in this game is pretty easy and so far the community has been extremely helpful during my hame experience.
I'm excited to see this game continue, and I hope I love it as much in the future as I do now. I've been disappointed by quite a few of the newer gacha games, but was pleasantly surprised by Neural Cloud.

the girls' frontline has too many loading screens where most of us complained about it (im talking about the first one before girls frontline neural cloud) i don't know if they already changed it since i already drop playing it.
in neural cloud the most entertaining part i notice is the transition between oasis and home.

It was a insert mechanic, that I got bored really quickly.
When neural cloud did it themselves, I couldn't stop learning and improve it and I do love it, it ain't too harsh like some other gacha games that give u no banner characters

The smooth loading screens are the only good thing about this game. The rest is just generic. The tutorial is hard and nothing is well enough explained. The chibi forms itself are subjective but not everybody likes that as well.
I am not a fan of the chibi art style at all or the combat.
I don’t like chibi but overall looks great.
It's a huge disappointment that they don't have voice over in this game and it's 2022! The story in this game is amazing, it's just hard to get into because of the Japanese Visual Novel style.

LOL! I've been playing this game since release. I've never been really into mobile games. So I'd never heard of Girls Frontline or knew that this was a spin-off from it. But because I was enjoying this game so much, I was just looking up Girls Frontline stuff to see if it was something I might get into, and that's when I came across your GFL video.

No game is perfect specially these days even if its a Tripple A games or a mobile games... Accept the truth games now days are trash.. its up to you if you enjoy them or not even its a gacha or typical pc/console game.

Oh my god they copied the Arknights UI so bad. That's actually hillarious. Good on them though, might as well try to copy something good.
These and Nikke are the only gatchas in a while that i have fun playing them
NGL it’s nice to not have a game that you can auto everything. It gets fkin old. EVERY GAME has an auto but this games auto is so bad it makes learning the game fun

Game is fun, the story is pretty lame, no sense of urgency whatsoever. I keep finding myself not playing because i don’t feel like reading the very boring story, but I’m also not the type to skip a games story either so…
