- In today's episode, we visit Cartagena. Our day began with a simple coffee run to the Nespresso store, leading us on an unexpected journey through its rich history and breathtaking beauty. From ancient Roman roads to a picturesque port, every corner revealed a new wonder. We encountered friendly ducks and graceful peacocks along the way, adding charm to our adventure. By the day's end, Cartagena had captured our hearts with its blend of history, beauty, and delightful surprises.

Great video! Fun to see some north americans in the area, it seems the secret is out now across the pond regarding Spain. My family have a property in mil palmernas that my grandfather bought in 1984. We go as often as we can and will be there again during Easter. Best regards from Stockholm Sweden!

That was great. Love your content. I do have a question, what city or town is southern Spain have you enjoyed most? I am playing with the idea of moving there and love being on the med to enjoy the beaches and have a wonderful old town with charm and character. Thanks
We are so glad you're enjoying our content! If money wasn't an issue, we would definitely live near the Malaga / Marbella / Nerja area (Costa del Sol). We absolutely LOVE the vibe in the south. Although it's very touristy, it does have that authentic Spanish feel. The area we chose (Costa Blanca) fit our price point, but we have had to sacrifice that true authentic Spanish vibe. If we want more Spanish, we can always drive to Cartagena or Alicante for the day! In short, it really depends on your budget. P.S we also LOVE Rota (near where Santi was born), but we prefer the warmer temps of the Mediterranean sea! 🥰

@@livinlavidacosta we've been to Cartagena a few times over the years and vlogged it at least twice... and not even been near any of the museums yet... our area is abundant with things to see and do... we never get bored!

One million percent!!! Our first java of the day is Nespresso, and then we go out for REAL coffee! 😜🤣
