My first acceptance for my freshman year this upcoming fall came in three weeks ago. We are going to visit the area next weekend too! I'm definitely going to subscribe and keep updated with life on campus there!

I’m a sophomore and have been doing online classes longer than I’ve been on campus now. Haven’t been there in so long it feels weird. Hopefully everything can be normal again next semester and we will all be back.

what resident hall are you in again? i just commited to UMASS and i am wondering what residence hall i should pick
I'm in one of the freshman halls in the honors college (they're basically all the same). Outside of that, a lot of people pick Southwest because it's close to one of the good dining halls and it has a big social scene (I recommend picking a low rise if you do Southwest so it's not as crazy). Orchard Hill is another good one but it's definitely a hike up the hill all the time. In my opinion you're fine if you do anywhere but Sylvan or Northeast (kinda dead).

@@carolderose3618 Yes I definitely do! Everyone over here is super nice and interesting and it's really easy to balance social and school life. The buildings are also really nice and homey feeling!

hi! the honors college has AC but the system doesn't work very well. Definitely hot in the dorms on hot days but manageable if you have a fan!
@@paigelichty6305 can students live in CHCRC dorms even if they have not been selected for CHC?
@@AdityaSingh-po1rg basically how it works is that anyone can live there but students who are actually in the honors college get priority
idk if it's because im a freshman, but i brought so much less stuff to campus
Since I'm in a double by myself I have twice the storage so I thought why not bring my entire life lol
I mean, I’m pretty sure we all have double rooms as singles this semester
