I've heard the full record now. It's solid. Just what you'd expect, classic Helloween. Masterful guitar playing, incomparable Deris vocals. Still got the pipes. Probably the best real singer in metal today. Not that stupid death growl shit that's everywhere. Catchy melodies. Good sound production. The sweet cover graphics are the icing on the Pumpkin cake. Helloween has the full package when it comes to metal albums. I love this record. Thanks Helloween, for delivering the goods yet again. Best metal album I've heard recently. I actually like it more than the last one. They'll tear up the metal charts with this thing. My God Given Right is as great a metal anthem as any in the history of metal. Masterpiece. Bravo Helloween. I wanna stay crazy FOREVER, crazy for Helloween that is. Nuclear Blast are lucky to have these guys onboard.
"Creatures In Heaven" is my absolute favorite from this album! In general, Weikath's songs are the ones carrying this album. Deris' songs are a bit too cheesy some times, and too much the same (still good) ;)
Y E S... Im about to agree with you James Williams... A very powerful Album that just turnes you on... I will be surprised if this one doesnt top the lists... It just makes you HAPPY... And I will hear it again and again and again....
Very interesting set of tracks. I wonder if this album will chart higher than Straight Out of Hell. It sounds at least as good. I would even go so far as to say it sounds better, jusy based on the 3 full tracks posted here and the snippets of the rest. God Given Right is up there with the best of Helloween songs IMO.
For me " Heaven " is a life as a Hobbit in New-Zealand, drink beer and listen HELLOWEEN all days :D
