Amazing work... thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Great video man. Thank you. Changing the tank out and always like to see some precedent.
when I worked at bobcat we pulled the entire cradle out , took the exhaust and radiator out and would bolt a chain down as tight as we could get it then use a cherry picker , first one took me 2.5 days , but after doing a couple of them i was able to pull the assembly , swap the engine and have it bolted back in , in 8 hours , then top off the fluid and test run it the following morning
Supermaning those back engine bolts looked like a real uncomfortable challenge. I like fixing things, but get irritated when I have to get cramped to do it. 🤯
Can’t wait to see the follow up video. I just bought a 773 with the same issue.
Soon, almost done
Excellent description! Thanks!
Thank you, it was very helpful.
Looking forward to the followup video. I'm in the process of putting a v2203 of unknown origin (probably a generator) into my 751 in place of the dreaded Peugeot and have been trying to piece together what I need based on parts diagrams etc.
It's done and running, I just need to get the video put together.
Thats my exact machine, really love it. Man you really made that look easy. Almost makes me want to take mine out just for kicks and grins. Maybe to pressure wash all those nooks and crannies. Keep the videos coming. Stay safe. Jeff
Nothing like a clean machine.
I used to have 2002 773 - great machine, I just upgraded to T630 because wheel machine getting easy stuck on soft ground, also weight balance on wheel and track on skid steer- 2 different worlds
Whatever it takes, right? Nice work.
Thanks
You make it look easy! Awesome job and really enjoyed the video!
Would really love to see a video tour of your service truck
Thanks, I've been asked that before, I'll try to put something together.
@@tetradgroup That's great
Great videos. I have a question on a Bobcat 742b. How many bolts hold the engine in. It's a Mitsubishi 4G32 engine. There is so much mud and oil clogging the inside I can't tell if there are only two or four. I took the two out (the door side of the engine) but can't tell for the life of me if there are two more inside further? love it if you could help me out with this one. Thanks
I gotta pull the engine to replace the oil pan and turbo on a 2000s 873 with a duetz. I’m assuming this is a similar procedure as with your machine any advice would be helpful
Do you have a video of the reefer motor rebuild ? I have an s150 that I'm doing the same thing to
Back to visit you again. After changing the head, I found out the block is bad, so out comes the engine. I SO don't look forward to this. With a dead engine, I can't raise the front out of the way, so even worse. And I don't know what I am doing.
Good luck and let me know if I can help.
I have to take mine out of my 753 Bobcat a 96 model.
just to replace the fuel tank because it's leaking .
so I would need to remove it just like you did ?
will I need a service manual aswell?
Is the same fly wheel ring gear the same as a751 ring gear thanks
Thanks! I’ve got to pull the v-3300 out of my s-220 next week. So far I fount bent push rod , 2 loose valves. 3800 hrs. Bobcat wants 12k for a rebuild, is that the best way to go? Thanks
How to build a pole barn with metal trusses
Where can I find the video of the parts swapped to the refer engine. I am wondering about the governor. Is the Bobcat gov a constant speed gov? Is the refer engine speed limiting gov? Or vise versa? Or are they the same. Did you switch the gov parts?
Do you have any videos of removing a 770 engine?
Good video, sound quality was good too, thank you. My daughter and I just finished up exchanging engines in her Bobcat 753 C-Series. This was our first, thank God it’s finished, I’m not a fan of working in tight spaces. We are all smiles now and finding out the other issues with her 753. The issue we are having is the travel speed forward is slower than reverse, is that normal? Also, the left control forward is jerky. The pump seems to have good flow, the right side is smooth forward and reverse. Could this be a wheel motor issue? Thank you in advance! God bless. Tripp located south of Atlanta, Ga.
Sounds like your steering linkage is out of adjustment, adjust arms further back for more forward speed. The jerking more than likely in is wear on steering centering blocks on top of pump. Blocks can be flipped and bearings rotated for more life and adjustment. I've wanted to do a video on steering but haven't had a good machine to demonstrate on yet. I used to love just east of Atlanta, Walton county.
@@tetradgroup I’m going to try adjusting the steering linkage, to improve speed. I’ll keep you posted, thanks for the help!
HowIDidIt. I have a 751 with a V1903-e Kubota engine. All the bolts for the fly wheel have sheared off I was able to removal all the broken bolts from the Crankshaft. Some of the threads in the crank are stripped. What Would You Recommend To Fix The Crankshaft? Any input would be Appreciated!
Did the follow up video ever happen?
THANK YOU for all the e great videos a lot of great info im doing a 773 engine change 2203 idi to the refer di cant find your video on parts swap have your 773 engine remove thank you so much did you drill a whole for dip stick and having trouble with injection line wish i had all your knowledge .
I've done several refer swaps. You will need to drill hole for dipstick. You will also need to drill a hole for start spring on governor to front cover.
@@tetradgroup thank you so much you have been a great help THANK YOU
Thank you! Why didn't you just unbolt the bell housing from the Bobcat and remove it while still attached to the engine?
Depends on what I'm trying to accomplish and also depends on the machine, in this case it's much easier to pull the engine only.
Hey I have a 2000 751 bobcat that has a hole in a oil drain plug hose. Do you have any videos on how to replace that. I seem to not find one and your videos seem to always help me. Hope your doing great.

Should be able to remove hose with ⅞ wrench from oil pan adapter. Might be tight in there so might need a crows foot to loosen fitting. I do not have a video specifically for replacing the drain hose but thanks for the idea.
Where is part two?
Did your new (used) engine have the oil dipstick on the proper side? My 753 has the v2203e and the dipstick is on the backside of the block!? Maybe someone switches engines at some point. Is there anything I can do to get dipstick on the proper side so I don’t have to reach around the engine to check the oil!? Thanks for any help
Never seen that, please email me a picture of that. Sometimes when I buy used engines the block does not have a predrilled hole for the dipstick and I have to drill it and add an insert.
Where is your video swapping parts from the old motor to the new reefer motor?
Hi sr excuses me where you located?
Do you have a video about removing the hydrostat? I’m working on a t300 and wondering if I will have to remove the engine or if I can wiggle it out the front
I'd pull the whole engine assembly. I've seen it come out the front, so I know it can be done but harder than pulling engine in my opinion.
@@tetradgroup that’s how I’ll do it then. Anything I should definitely replace while it’s out?
Did you ever post a video of the engine swap over/install?
I did not, lost lots of audio and video on the build and install unfortunately.
Too bad. Your videos are fantastic btw. ….Can I put in a good word for a “v2203 rebuild” video?
How much more of a pain is it to remove the whole skid
In some cases it's actually easier to pull the skid. Just make sure drain holes in bottom of frame are clear so the hydraulic oil can run out into a drain pan. Even after draining the tank you still lose lots of oil from disconnecting hydraulic hoses from the pumps.
hey if you would like to do the refer engine to bobcat swap ive got one right now ill bring it to you and we can swap the parts over
Come on over
ok ill contact you on the tetrad
Where is your video swapping from old motor to reefer motor?
I lost video and audio on that video so I never got to finish it. I'm doing another reefer motor now for a 742B, hopefully be done next month
@@tetradgroup essentially its transfer everything from one block to the other right? Must have to change out the governor and injection pump to get the hp out of the motor
@@brionherbanson73 for theost part yes, no need to change pump. The reeferotors are designed to run at constant RPM so you might have to change governor springs and add a start spring from the original engine. The governor linkage may need to be drilled to accept start spring. Also most reefer engines do not have a hole for a dipstick, you might have to drill the block and add an insert for a dipstick.
That looks like a pain
It's worth it, it'll be a $20,000 machine when I'm done
@@tetradgroup I know someone willing to pay half that
Короче обо всем и ни о чем, то что мы уже произвели нам показали , а вот чего нужно , показали только связку проводов
It's peguot engine
Bobcats junk they got some really screwed up designed why the hell would they put the engine in sideways
