I remember watching this, especially when they saluted the states, I learned alot about the states.

I loved the New York episode and J.D. Roth gave a shoutout to PIX11.

The voice over for the promos, who I recently learned was named Doug Paul and who sadly passed away recently, also did voice over promos for WGN in Chicago (which also aired Fun House). I guess it made sense since both stations were owned by Tribune Media at the time.

EEEK! That's me! LOL! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. My kids thought this was hilariously embarrassing, I agree! Deahni

I remember watching this as a kid, so cool that you found this episode and commented. This show was a trip, and J.D. Roth was an awesome host. Did you have fun?

Wow, it’s great to hear from you. I always wondered if you and Brian remained friends after the show since you only met through the contestant search. Did they really use barbecue sauce in the third stunt or was it fake?

@@brianschwartz1372 Brian and I did not keep in touch, I've tried to find him on social media with no luck. I'm much easier to find, not too many "Deahni", lol! The BBQ sauce was definitely fake, and gross, which explains my confusion. It was fizzy, like it had soda in it, and it tasted disgusting. Thanks for posting this video, I have so many fond memories of my once in a lifetime experience!

The battle of the Alamo was 1836, not 1845. 1845 was the year Texas entered the union the first time.
