Night Rock Fishing Mixed Wash Species

- Fishing the rocks during the night is an experience that should only be done by anglers that have a very good understanding of the ocean swell, rock fishing, tides, tide heights, swell direction, and more. In this video I am fishing a really flat sea night, just having a lot of fun catching a mixture of species. You just don't know what you were going to hook. A fairly difficult form of angling fishing the sudsy white water. I had loads of fun on the night.

Loving this rock fishing series. How good were those battles with the big tailor! A very underrated fish! In May 2006 on the Milsons Point side of the Harbour Bridge after midnight, I had a monster tailor take my big strip bait set for Jew on the last of the run out tide - that fish was as big as a school jew and measured an incredible 78 cm!! People knock them but I reckon they're great and a big one will test the skill of any angler on the right gear of course.

Alex in the description you said you where using 12lb leader you normally use 20lb that's what I use.😀
I vary my leader lbs/kg from as light as 8-9lb to 25-30lb. On that outing I was using 5.5kg 12 lb line.

On this night unweighted. Meaning just a hook and bait to very light ball sinkers. Vary your weights. 👌
