  • When someone lands on your website you have 5 seconds to capture their attention.
They need to read something that intrigues them and gets them scrolling down to your juicier content below.
The title needs to be completely value-based... what is the thing that you solve for your customer?
A good example is “Supercharged coffee for that perfect start to your day”.
We tell them exactly what we sell and why it’s so valuable. Who doesn’t want a perfect start to their day?
In the subtitle, we support this bold claim.
We have to back up what we said... but we also need to try and clear any immediate objections they might have.
We could say something like “Crash-free coffee packed with essential plant nutrients and minerals. Deliciously crafted to make your day magic”. 🪴
Here we are supporting the statement in the title whilst also expressing the fact that this coffee is crash-free... a common objection of consumers.
So if you want to take anything away from this post it would be this:
    * How does your title tell your customer exactly what you do - straight away.
    * What common objection can you put to rest in the subtitle before they even think about navigating to the next website.
