  • This project started in February and I have been shooting videos since, therefore I repeat myself a lot. I tried to put the bits and pieces together so they can make sense. Anyways, this is my review of Game Room Solution’s Vpinball 43” cabinet. Enjoy!

    Thanks for your video. I’ve only watched a small portion of it so far but from what I’ve seen so far, it looks like you took GRS’ basic cabinet and really added a lot to it. Your table looks awesome and seems to have a lot more than just your basic VPX setup. I plan to watch the rest of the video later and take notes, as I’m planning something similar for my build for next year. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions on GMS’ cabinet. As others have said, you’re inspiring others of us to take our proposed or existing tables even further.

    I literally have paused and used this video more then any of the instructions game room solutions could provide. If you ever plan on taking a vacation to NYC. Im 10 minutes from Manhattan, and about 10 min from newark airport.
    Id pay 1k for your help finishing my cabinet off. Really just need someone to set up a full rgb setup. I own like 5 different controller boards, the tinted track's , a bunch of matrixs, speaker rings etc lol. Its honestly probably an hour job total. If you know anyone in this area who also can setup the rgb's like you the offer stands for them also

    Been researching the Game Room Solutions cab. Your cab looks amazing! It does look like GRS has a V3 of this cabinet that let you have pre-cut channels for the LED matrix and for the light strips along the playfield, and comes with the dark plex to cover them. They also sell a topper as well. Would probably have saved you some headache.

    So impressive! Thank you for sharing. Is there a place where the collective Roms and tables are established with a UI? Or is this a search and store effort that occurs over time?
    Also, what UI are you using to shuffle through all of the different pinball solutions?

    • @tekkamanblade2244
      @tekkamanblade2244  Před 2 lety

    Just a random Popper DOF question. In your video, DOF pops on automatically when u enter pinup popper and when u exit a game, popper automatically kicks back on (usually within 5-7 seconds). However for me, the only way DOF kicks on in popper, is only after i've hit a flipper key. Then it works just fine. Not sure if there is something I need to do differently in my popper settings or cabinet.xml to get that to work. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    I finally finished mine bro, it came out sick. I chose not putting the back of the backbox on. I wasn't screwing anything into my t molding. Plus I like to have quick access if I had to.
    One thing, bro how to do you get the plexiglass on and off? Have you found any tricks or tips to slide it into place? Because I basically have to take one side out of its track and have it above the groove. Then I push the plexiglass towards fhe backbox as much as I could. Then I bend and push down on it and it slides down and almost pops into place when it hits the groove. But it always comes lose because the wood under the apron moves . I was hoping you figured out a better way. I even considered using a fish hook or something to pull up the center back of the plexiglass.
    I'm gonna do a glass mod. I like cleaning my screen almost daily and can't because dealing with the plexiglass is a nightmare! Lol

    I don’t trust cam lock systems. After a couple years my GRS cabinet started coming loose and in the end just sort of fell apart trying to tightening over and over again. I can’t imagine how long their pinball cabs will last with all the movement you will make with it. Let’s not forget their customer service. Pretty much a mixed bag of opinions about it. My ordering experience was fine but Josh(?) from GRS during my follow up questions was a total douche. I had scratches on my shipped plexiglass for my cab and after sending him a number of emails with pics of the damage asking for a follow up and a replacement he finally got back to me weeks latter and said I should have let him know right away. He claimed I never sent him earlier emails even though I could prove it. After much back and forth he basically told me to go to my local hardware store and get a new one since I couldn’t prove it.
