"Bilećanka" - Yugoslav Revolutionary Song

- "Bilećanka"/"Билећанка" is a 1940 Yugoslav song created by the Slovene communist Milan Apih while he was imprisoned in the Bileća prison camp by the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Milan Apih would later become a partisan, and lived well into his 80s. Certainly, fate has played a trick on the oppressors: the imprisoned live long, and the imprisoners die quickly.

Heja-hoj!
Heja-hoj!
Sred pušaka, bajoneta,
Straže oko nas,
Tiho kreće naša četa
Kroz bilećki kras.
Čuje se odjek koraka
Po kamenju hercegovskom;
Heja-hoj!
Heja-hoj!
Daleko si zavičaju,
Mi prognani smo,
Prognaše nas zbog zločina
Što te ljubimo!
Čuje se odjek koraka
Po kamenju hercegovskom;
Heja-hoj!
Heja-hoj!
Osta majka bez svog sina,
Žena bez druga,
Pusta osta kuća njina,
Gorka sudbina.
Čuje se odjek koraka
Po kamenju hercegovskom;
Heja-hoj!
Heja-hoj!
Heja-hoj!
Heja-hoj!
Хеја-хој!
Хеја-хој!
Сред пушака, бајонета,
Страже око нас,
Тихо креће наша чета
Кроз билећки крас.
Чује се одјек корака
По камењу херцеговском;
Хеја-хој!
Хеја-хој!
Далеко си завичају,
Ми прогнани смо,
Прогнаше нас због злочина
Што те љубимо!
Чује се одјек корака
По камењу херцеговском;
Хеја-хој!
Хеја-хој!
Оста мајка без свог сина,
Жена без друга,
Пуста оста кућа њина,
Горка судбина.
Чује се одјек корака
По камењу херцеговском;
Хеја-хој!
Хеја-хој!
Хеја-хој!
Хеја-хој! - Hudba
The problem with Titoism is you eventually run out of Tito
Why is this so accurate?
Tito was a revisionist
@@tomo9593 So what?
@@somebodynobody8701 so he was responsible for the falling of Yugoslavia
@@somebodynobody8701 the restoration of capitalism in Yugoslavia, which was caused by Tito and his regime, was one of the reasons for the collapse of Yugoslavia and its civil wars

@@GlutenFr33 There's still the minorities of Germans, Italians (maybe), Slovaks, Czechs, Hungarians, Romanians, Vlachs, and probably some others I don't remember that lived in Yugoslavia.

Kingdom of Yugoslavia! 🇷🇸💪
The SFR outlived the kingdom lol.
@@SwePol How did it end?
@@user-tu1yv8ib3d it collapsed, just like the kingdom.
@@user-tu1yv8ib3d the kingdom collapsed because they were invaded, the republic collapsed because the ethnic groups wanted to leave. Not like they liked the kingdom much more. There was a lot of opposition to Yugoslavia when it was formed.
