Thank you for watching Alan san!
Wow, that is great content and information in 10 minutes !
If you plan a trip to Japan, and will visit other places (not only Tokyo), I can really recommend the Dormy Inn chain. They very often have a japanese bath (often both an indoor and an outdoor bath), and offer other "goodies". Like free ramen after 21h00 and a Dormy Inn branded "pyjama" that you can wear during your stay. Usually, japanese travellers wear suits or business clothes when going for breakfast. But at the Dormy Inn, most japanese travellers will wear the "pyjama". Also, its great value for money.
When choosing the accommodation in Tokyo, for me the location is the most important factor. Tokyo is huge, personally, I always stay in Shinjuku, because its great for night fotography, and has so many choices for restaurants, bars, shops etc. What is really important, is to have a metro stop very close to your accommodation. Shinjuku station is quite intimidating as its the biggest station in the world, but its also very practical, as you can get pretty much to every place, from there (as so many lines pass here). There is also a big bus station in Shinjuku station, which is useful for going to Kawaguchiko (for Mount Fuji) or Takayama in the japanese alps for example.
Thank you for all our hard work on this.
Thank you for watching and your kind message. :)
Excellent video! You do a good job!

have you used the 'mini tokyo 3D' app? amazingly cool
As Canadians we found it unusual that hotel room costs are per person and not automatically priced by room with a 2 person occupancy.
I like the explanation and information in your video because it provides options for those of us with special needs so I can know where to go with this special situation 😊 ありがとう
Thank you for watching. I'm glad if the information I put was helpful for you. :)
Your videos are very helpful. I'm looking into getting the Greater Tokyo Pass on my next trip so I can include Nikko and Kawagoe
Thank you so much for watching and super support! I really appreciate it. I wish you the best trip to Nikko and Kawagoe. :)
Thank you! Will travel to Japan at the end of August. I am so excited! Your videos are very helpful. Thank you for your hard work. ありがとうございます🙈🙏🏻
Thank you for watching and your message! I wish you the best summer trip. :)
Have a good trip. Think you're crazy for going in summer, but have fun hehe
The map changes depending on where you are looking at it from? Oh boy 😅 Awesome vid Kengo san!
Of course. Each company will favor their own lines. =P
But since you (usually) have to pay about ~100 more yen each time you change to a different company it's not necessarily a bad thing.
It should also be noted that a lot of the area maps at stations (and elsewhere, which are usually even worse) don't actually put north as north... basically ever. The station exit maps should all have a compass rose somewhere to help out. The "elsewhere" maps might not even have that... so you just assume north is north and it's not. =P This is why having mobile data + map program is so important.
Thank you for watching Chris san! Yes, redfish337 san explained what I meant about the map. :) I'm glad you liked the video!
@@redfish337 thanks for the info much appreciated!
I somehow ended up on the local train from Narita and it took awhile. So be sure to get on the express!
It's cheaper. I often take it.
Access express is preferable being only slightly more expensive and significantly faster... but if the next access express isn't available soon then it's not really saving you time anyway and you may as well just get on the slow one. You don't really get to choose on the arriving side. Going back to Narita I think it'd be more likely to get a seat on the slow train, but probably usually no problem for access express as well unless your departure time is bad. Last time I was aiming for access express but got to the station early enough I just took the first train, which arrived at Narita before the access express would have.
@@redfish337 yeah that’s probably what happened. It did take a long time though

Good morning from Sri Lanka
Thank you for watching. ^^ I hope you had a nice cup of tea this morning.

Can you still get a Toica card at Tokyo Station? I plan to visit roughly every 6 months so it would be really convenient not having to worry about Welcome Suica cards each time.
I didn't know you could buy Toica at Tokyo station. If that is still going on, I'm sure everyone rush to JR Central counter now. ^^
🤖🤝🇯🇵
Does anyone know the station's name that is shown at 1:58?
Hi. That is Ueno station.
Thank you, Kengo-san for another informative video. On our first trip ever to Japan last November, your videos were sooo helpful.
Thank you Lilly san for using the emoji icon!!! I’ve never seen it being used so I’m very happy.😊
