Is it online ticket cheaper than the ticket purchased in person at the counter? Or they’re the same price ?

Kengo San. We are going to Mt Fuji on our November trip. Traveling from Tokyo. Probably will have a JR pass. Is it necessary to book in advance for the Shinjuku to Otsuki and then onto Kawaguchiko or would the day before be OK to book?

It’s great that you now doing videos that are not as frequently visited by your average tourist. Since we have already visited a lot of the sites in Kyoto-Osaka and completing our list for Tokyo, we are finding videos like this useful. Nice to see you promoting some of the lesser-known parts of Japan Kengo san. I noticed there are some different conventions in the public transport systems in the less populated areas (like showing your ticket to the train driver upon disembarking) that travellers like me might not know about, so your clear explanation is really helpful. I also have the same down jacket, in orange, and wear it basically every day in winter. So light yet warm! I’m such a fan of Uniqlo now since discovering your channel 😁

That is a very nice off the beaten path trip, thank you very much for sharing it with us Kengo. The journey by train and bus looks a bit complicated, I think one needs to be very well prepared for it, especially if you dont speak Japanese. I have been to Hagi in a previous trip and very much enjoyed it.

Ken-san, my favourite chain breakfast shop turned out to be Doutor. Their coffees, hot cocoa and fresh sandwiches were excellent!

We visited Ikebukero a few weeks ago, mainly for Sunshine City, but we liked what we saw. We will spend more time there next visit!

Hey Kengo San! Just returned from my Japan trip. Thank you for your videos. In fact, the Tokyo metro was a bit confusing lol. The jet lag made it even worse. We went to Pokemon center, cafe, Sensoji temple, Tsukiji market, Akihabara gigo etc. Kyoto was definitely a lot better than Tokyo in my opinion. Lots of temples and sightseeing. Nara was 100% my favorite!! Although it’s only a day trip, we did not once regret it. Nara park itself is huge and full of history. *hide the deer crackers…* In Osaka, we went to universal studios but the lines were super long (1 hr~ per ride). We unfortunately enjoyed Osaka the least. It’s full of shopping places and crowds… And we learned a lot from your Shinkansen video! Definitely an experience. One thing I wished I knew before going to Japan is that most local places in Kyoto is cash only lol

Is it allowed to eat and drink on the Romancer train from Shinjuku to Hakone Yumoto? The Odakyu says it was allowed however I can't find much information about it. I wish to book an early train to Hakone using the Romancer train GSE 70000 series and have my breakfast (bento) on board. Please help to advise.
