  • Welcome to Inquiring Together. My name is Anthony Barreto. On this channel we look to bring science into political science, explore the interplay between advanced technology alongside our relationship to the world, and whether if we can figure out, for ourselves, how to move forward together.
On this episode we ask, what role does knowledge play in solving for the human problem? The problems of war, violence, sorrow and fear.
Humans know much about the world and ourselves. Obviously, knowledge and its application provides technological advancements. Yet, inwardly, we continue the same as we have always been. We continue to fight over ideology, land and beliefs. We separate in expertise, field, and knowledge. And yet, we find the limitations in many fields. All together, none solving for the human problem.
What is the desire to know? Isn’t it premised on knowledge of there being a desirer? What when the question of ‘what is the desire to know?’ is not premised upon a desirer?, what happens to the questions that the world anxiously asks? What happens to the knowledge that the world is conflicted over?
