I really hope you do more when you can☺️ no one does these or anything like it … selling a colouring page and doing a tutorial that includes coloured pencil & watercolour! It’s completely unique and absolutely beautiful. You make me want to pull out all my supplies and start creating… I’ve hardly touched my watercolours( only did the smallest thing years ago), but have always wanted to use watercolour SO incredibly much. Too scared or other things prevent me lol😂😑

Karen, I loved watching you do portraits. That being said, I personally am not much for doing them myself. In fact I have only done one true face and it still wasn’t what I would call a portrait image…it was only for practicing more than anything. Came out pretty good considering it was my first and only attempt, to this point. If I ever get to that point though, I know I will be watching those videos on a bit of a more “serious” manner. I have always been more drawn to coloring flowers, landscapes, “scenes”, animals and things along that line. Your apple blossoms came out beautiful! I knew they would though, due to when you did incorporate flowers along with your gals, they came out beautifully done. Great job on the image and going in a slightly different way! 💕

Dear Karen, technical question, how do you determine where to extend the background color to? I never really know what would look good in terms of where around the image to add the background... 😓
Oh gosh Elle, I wish I could answer that with a technical answer. But I can’t. It’s just an intuitive act for me. Working from one corner to the opposite corner is a good general rule. I do usually like to have the color fade into the white as best I can. I hope that helps a little bit.
