    What has worked for me:
    - Cutting down technology use. This includes checking my phone/Facebook regularly. I only have a glance three or so times a day. I feel for me personally this was the biggest culprit for such fog.
    - trying to avoid processed foods when possible, having a predominately plant based diet
    - aiming for better sleep
    - a decent morning routine (exercise, shower, meditate)
    - reading books daily

@@Cstank5 I'll have to write all that down hahaha. To be perfectly honest regarding weed I would like to continue using it on a "now and then" basis. I used to use it nearly daily and that... Well didn't go well. I've decided I'm not gonna outright cut weed out, but I am going to limit it by a shit load. I'll use that diet to clear my gut microbiome of that specific species and see if that makes a significant impact. I know plenty of people who can use weed and it doesn't affect them negatively and they're all physically healthy with a decent diet, so that might be the real culprit. Growing up white bread was something I ate shitloads of and I ended up being diagnosed with ADD (adhd minus the hyperactive behaviour) so that revelation about white bread makes perfect sense. I'll prepare for that diet and see where it leads.

I also corrected by B12 , iron, vitamin D deficiency . This also had a huge impact on me. I don’t know what I did for the past decade, I was lulled into this semi sleepy state, all because of my poor diet. I could tell I wasn’t myself but there was nothing I could do to get out of it . I procrastinate and then worry, Now that I understand this and to write shit down, it sounds so simple but until you made a video about it, I truly didnt realize this was the cause of it. I'm now eating much healthier, no sugar or carbs, that really helped, but some days were still plagued with brain fog, and it happened to be when I was worrying about stuff I had to do that I put aside. You really touched on the solution with meditation. I can explain. Everything is solved by it. Before cell phones and tablets, it used to be that you'd stare out the window when riding in a car, daydream nearly everywhere, wait in line, talk to people face to face 90% of the time etc. There were many quiet moments throughout the day. These were moments for our spirit (mind) and soul (emotions) to rest. These words, spirit and soul, are actually defined as mind and emotions in the Greek found in the Bible. It's rarer today, but there used to be these moments, and a little voice inside would tell you "You're special. You're loved. Why don't you try doing this? That's not good for you, don't do that. Why don't you talk to so-and-so? Help that person. Be respectful. You have so much potential." There is peace in silence because there is healing in silence of what is out of order. The voice of God puts things back in order. We've become spiritually deaf by being consumed with noise and activity. Moderation is life changing.

I also have to stop smoking weed for this job which is fine cause I feel like it contributes to a form of overstimulation in chemicals and cut back a little on coffee (drink only in the mornings) I still don’t “feel” better but looking at the simple fact that it’s improvement makes me accept myself a little more. Hey all - so, I recently started doing this where I write things down that I want to accomplish. I literally put a black board inside my room and wrote stuff down. This has really helped me because it’s no longer “all the stuff that’s in my head that I have to do“it’s more like all the stuff that I’ve written down on the wall that I have to do and I must scratch through as I’m done. It brings your level of anxiety down however don’t just let the task sit there you must act on them or the anxiety will rise because you haven’t gotten anything done.

It was only after the mid of March where I started having problems trying to study everyday, partially due to school commitments, but outside those busy hours where I have that free time to study, I just couldn’t for some reason. This problem lead me to falling back in class over the next few months and I’m currently trying to find the best solution. It could be due to the lack of sleep as I only sleep 6 to 7 hours every night. At the moment I will try to take your tips and hopefully, I could regain my concentration in studying again. I had a stroke in 2018 at age 26. Not from health issues, but I have major brain fog and the biggest problem I have and agree with is #3 where he suggests a sleep routine and exercise, general improved health, etc. I am in recovery and recently found that I’m not excited to wake up early in the morning and that stroke survivors need their sleep bc that’s when the brain heals the most. But there’s also such a thing as too much sleep, which worsens brain fog. You have to find a balance.

I play alot of chess and some days are basically all wins even against higher rated players whereas other days are mostly losses even against lower rated players and so i found your video and i think i have my answer.
Id noticed im often at my best in the morning when i dont have work so thats= properly rested, not hungry, no looming tasks to complete and i havent overloaded on Facebook and youtube yet.
So in short your information here makes a tonne of sense and id have never thought of the looming tasks or Facebook and youtube thing.
Im excited to test this out now.
    Thanks again.

Idk if anyone else gets this, but I also feel so vision imparied, like focusing in on certain things I struggle to do, and in a way everything just looks like its merged into one, like if I look outside my window, I feel like im looking at the whole scenery together rather than one single point

I did not watch the video yet, but before my answer gets manipulated or altered by the content of it, here is what helps me best :
    1. Always getting up and going to sleep at the same time
    2. Ice cold shower (also gives a lot of energy)
    3. Warm shower - helps to relax and lose tension
    4. A walk
    5. A nap
