If every video was a birthday I'd be 50 years old I'm tired I'm old I wanna go to bed, Tiktok doesn't make sense to me. - Hry
Holy crap Donkey Kong
Hi Dan.
Salty Daniel
Greetings fusion between sodium and chlorine
Holy fuck salt the dan
Holy crap you play mother 3
YOU FORGOT DONKEY KONG
"How many times do we need to teach you this lesson old man?!"
@@Somedumbasswithbadideas Yes
*gasp* DONKEY KONG?!?
Bumbles you FOOL
NOW LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE SH**
All this made me realize is that they went from DK’s Final Smash being Donkey Konga to it being Jungle Beat
And it's not even a good representation of Jungle Beat. The punches play out automatically after landing the first hit; without the button mashing, it just feels soulless.
"nelvana's a name you're probably passingly familiar with"
me, a canadian who grew up in the early oughts: *INTENSE CHILDHOOD FLASHBACKS*
congrats bumbles, you awoke a part of me i had completely forgotten about.
basically, if you were a canadian kid these guys were THE production company that you saw at the end of every single TV show you watched (along with their bigger parent company, corus.)
Yes I have to agree
Crap, I remember finding your first Punch Out video and becoming absolutely in love with your videos. Whether its the main ones or the Bumbles McRumbles, you've always managed to make some insanely entertaining content and it feels so, so good seeing you get to 50 videos. Keep on rocking amigo, keep on goddamn rocking
Same here!
Me three
Me four.
Hey guys, sorry I'm late
Me five
Same
As the singer of the DK rap once said, “he’s finally here, to kick some tail”
It’s tail time.
I honestly never thought this guy forgot about DK in Punch-Out. I thought he intentionally kept him out because he was a secret boss, saving his energy to go off about his big ape in his own separate video
Seeing Mr. McFumbles talk about a Stanley made me think.
Why haven't we gotta a Stanley Parable video yet?
It seems like the perfect game for a Bumbles video!
Bumbles vs the narrator is a fight I wanna see
@@Aaron_Stever same
You can't say anything new about The Stanley Parable anymore.
@@trustytrestStill doesn’t negate the fact we all want to see Jack McFumbles play it and have a snark off with the Narrator
So basically the delay in Donkey Konga is because you probably weren't playing on a CRT tv, there's less delay on it
If there were offset settings in the game he should have calibrated the offset to his setup
My first thought, too. I remember those tracks syncing perfectly back in the day on CRTs.
@@healerman45 I dnt know if it’s that easy to just calibrate the delay in set up. Unless he’s playing it on a rom then shouldn’t have the issue at all.
Look at how smash melee is still played at tournaments on original hardware and crts
He admits his own ineptitude with rhythm games in his Thrillville: Off the Rails video as well.
no, he was motion sick from all the ska
The thing about the Punch Out videos is they work best as a two-parter. The first video lays the foundation and the second adds to it and polishes.
The Wii version of this game _does_ add a plot, but even then it's just that the bad guys are baddies, Donkey Kong is a goodie, and you need to stop the baddies to restore peace to the kingdoms of the jungle.
Having one little mishap in an early video that helped spring your channel snowball into a channel-wide running gag of an eternal rivalry with a goofy lovable ape is the kind of quality I love about your stuff, man.
Congrats on 50 episodes, here's to hopefully adding a 0 to the end of that number in the future, because I can and will watch 500 videos of you talking about anything and everything gaming you feel like cooking up, knowing it'll be entertaining.
Is it bad that when Frieza started using Cranky Kong’s voice, it took until the “mean old yeti” comment to realize it wasn’t Frieza
The way DK hits the eggs in this game is both hilarious and maniacal
Swapping out the characters voices for the DK ones was extremely funny!
You know Bumbles Mcfumbles is a good youtuber when he can somehow find a way to put the phrase “Odinsleep” in a video about Donkey Kong
DK is bumbles mcfumbles nemesis at this point
Whenever I watch this channel it feels like I'm talking with a good friend. The way you talk to the audience so directly makes me feel like I'm really there and makes the videos a thousand times more enjoyable! I love your content and hope your channel continues to grow.
You're describing a parasocial relationship.
13:03 - Spike Spiegel singing "Nobody's Hero" was something I never knew I needed till I got it. How DARE you not make a full music video!!
21:22 you know, you’re not even that wrong there. I’ve been with the series since it’s beginning and I know the pain of it all
Oh yeah and Jungle Beat. That is just a beast in it itself.
If the community ever makes a fangame for this guy, DK absalutely needs to be the villian
50 episodes. Crazy to think we've gone this far.
So glad you've dealt with us this long and entertained us so much!
🎈 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈. 🎏 🎏 🎏 🎏 🎏
31:25 surprised you didn’t bring up that someone beat dark souls with the dk bongos
Congratulations for the 50th episode dude, your content really is great and I can't wait to see the 100th!
dont think i have said this before, but love your "no more heroes" style transition
I also like the easter eggs that he sometimes puts in, like Monster from Friday Night Funkin' in one of the end transitions.
Whoever found out how to control one of the hardest gaming franchises of all time with pizza is a god among men.
It's like playing overwatch with bananas oh wait
I love how Bumbles now treats DK like the video game equivalent of Antichrist
Jack I’m so proud of you!!! Your channel’s come so far, and finally people get their donkey kong content (unfortunate for you though lmao)
Fun fact:
There's a handful of assets in Jungle Beat that go unused in Mario Galaxy. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the flowers you spin on was carried over to the purple flowers in Galaxy
DKis the antagonist of this entire Chanel.
Hearing Spike sing Absolute Zero put me into a mental breakdown I don’t think I’ll ever recover from
The first 2 Donkey Konga game's tracklists being made up of garage band covers of early 2000s nu-metal is honestly hilarious. Nothing compares to the terror of booting up Donkey Konga 2 and the first song showing up in the selection being the worst version of Incubus' Drive that man has ever created. Also congrats on the 50th!
I’m recovering from sinusitis rn so I’m currently binging all of your stuff your style is insanely comforting to me. Here’s to 50 more 🎉
I've been binge watching your videos for a week now. In fact, I was watching your Demon's Crest video when this came out, so I was pretty happy when I got the notification
So I may have spent a bit too much time working out the DK lore of the alternate dimension this game came from, but all in all I've managed to work out the basics of the series. So the Cactus King is an evil emperor and tyrant who goes around conquering places. The Kong Family is a long standing ally to this line of kings, serving their evil whims for generations. At least until the youngest (and smallest) Kong, Donkey, decides that enough is enough and he won't stand for the evil's of the Cactus Kingdom anymore, even if he has to fight his own family. Dread Kong is his older brother and is weirdly not popular with the fandom. Mostly because he's always the most straightforward and lest interesting fight and is basically always the first boss so he doesn't really have any credentials in the fan base's mind. Karate Kong (who fans refer to as Kong Fu I mean the pun is right there) is Donkey's grandpa and there are a lot of jokes involving subtitles and bad dubbing with him despite the fact that he does ape grunts like everyone else. Ninja Kong is DK's uncle and is an alternate universe Tumblr Sexyman MOVING ON and is usually the most hair pulling frustrating of the Kongs to fight because he's usually using all sorts of ninja tricks to teleport around and do ranged attacks so here as a straight punch up is jokingly referred to as "Why he uses shuriken" because of how easy he is to beat in comparison. Sumo Kong is DK's dad and is always the second to last main boss in the games and is always just such a massive bruiser. Like he's so big his hand is the size of DK's torso. You always have to survive his attacks until he does one that leaves him open for few seconds so them keeping that here was appreciated. The fact that they're family helps explain why they alll show up in the Kong-ga Party and Donkey Kart series, but Cactus King being there is all kinds of awkward. Still not as awkward as teaming them up in the Crash and Kong Olympics games for paired figure skating, but still head scratching.
I'd spend more time delving into this alternate universe but I just discovered that Robert Downey Jr. is their movie Mario and Chris Prat is now Luigi and I'm too scared to look into that universe anymore.
1:02:53 hey wait a minute. that voice... that's Derek from SaltyDKDan fame! I'd recognize that voice anywhere!
I KNEW the DK secretly stood for Donkey Kong!
You're legitimately such a good script writer. Can't believe this is the same guy who came up with Goblin Boy 🤔
"Pilot the bird, Donkey Kong, or Diddy will have to do it again"
20:50 you KNOW it's a 50th episode extravaganza when you do a chest and arms reveal! Can't wait for the 100th episode where you show off your knees and the back of your neck!
Still, the fact that Kranky Kong was voiced by the legendary Ryusei Nakao in Japan is kinda mind-blowing.
This is a good channel. lots of variety for better and worse but when a video hits, boy does it hit. can’t wait to see what fruit roll up rolls out next
The "I will slamma your bananas" statement made me laugh. XD
I remember hating the Chili Pepper Kingdom when I played it during my 100% run.
Never again.
31:36 I don’t want to admit how much this made me laugh.
Happy 50th non Yu-Gi-Oh video
A 1 hour video on a single moderate game, absolute chad behavior!
Reminder (or fun fact): the canonical sequel to this game is a coin pusher and I am not joking about that.
44:48 According to an interview with Koizumi, the reason no elements from Rare appear is because this was a game very unconventional for DK, and unbefitting for the old cast to appear in this new team’s game. It was more out of respect than just “Oh we didn’t like what Rare did”.
But there is one element from Rare, though - almost inarguably the most important element: DK's design.
If they wanted Jungle Beat to have its own identity, they should have redesigned Donkey Kong himself to fit with the new artistic direction - that way people would know that it's something different.
But besides, Donkey Kong Country _was_ DK's identity. Modern games like Returns and Tropical Freeze don't include anything from Rare (other than the main characters) and yet the environment and enemy designs still feel like they fit with Donkey Kong.
With Jungle Beat, it seems like they had an idea for a DK platformer that uses the bongos, and then rushed to get it out the door while the accessory was still relevant. The result is a game that looks very generic, with characters that look like they'd be more at home in Wario World than a Donkey Kong game.
@@alfo2804 DK’s modern design was a joint effort between Nintendo and Rare, and could be seen as early as Donkey Kong ‘94, as that was where DK’s necktie first appeared. Changing up the design of one of Nintendo’s most iconic characters probably would’ve been risky (if they even thought about doing that) and honestly the game has more than enough identity to set itself apart. Speak to anyone who’s played it and they’ll have no trouble telling you this game is one-of-a-kind, not just for DK, but Nintendo in general.
I’d also argue the modern games do much more to embrace what Rare did, not just stopping at characters, but including items, locations, references, and music. Still a lot of original ideas, but they blend the old with the new for something they can call their own.
12:48 - 13:15 is possibly the single best thing you’ve ever done.
I’ve literally never heard of the Donkey Konga series until now
Also, it’s good to see someone acknowledge the Viva Piñata series. Oh how I miss it
Dang, watched this an hour after it came out but forgot to congratulate you on the (Totally the first) milestone! Love your videos so much, and got addicted with your humor since the first punch out entry. The Chicken little video just solidified it. Everything you make is just so much fun, and a few of your jokes live rent free in my head. TO 50 MORE ABSOLUTE BANGERS!
50 over the top and wonderful episodes! Cheers to even more!
You have this uuugh idk how to explain it you remind me of my friends cheesy, sarcastic and overreacting humor and I love it a lot I’m so happy I stumbled it I guess bumble into this channel cause this has honestly might be my new fav channel
Up next, how one man saved Paper Mario and then disappeared from existence in 2017
I stole a copy of that Donkey Kong Ckuntry VHS from the church I went to as a child and still have it
You're going to hell for that one
I feel like owning the vhs is punishment enough
I hope you keep making more videos like this, they really make my day
Gratz on the 50th!
Jungle Beat is such a weird game. It really shouldn't work half as well as it does, but its high energy and tight level design quickly establish that it's not just some gimmicky peripheral game. I daresay that it almost feels like a Platinum joint at times. I'm so glad I nabbed it when stores started clearing them out. It was $25 well spent.
HOLY a milestone video from one of my fav youtubers on a game that I LOVED, I'm already pleased with this video and I'm not even 30 seconds in
I can live with having the Tester videos for my state. I'll take the hit for everyone.
12:34
WHY DOES THE SONG PERFECTLY LINE UP WITH DIDDY KONG
To say he doesn't like Donkey Kong, Jack *really* likes Donkey Kong lmao
Heeeeeeeeeellllllll yeah son, 50th episode of bumbles mcfumbles
I really love the no more heroes stuff you have in your videos. Like the thumbnail of course and the boss transitions
Man, you've been an inspirational juggernaut to me of late. Here's to 50 more, congrats on big number!!
Congrats to one of the most overlooked channels on the entire platform and don't forget Donkey Kong ever again
You remembered Donkey Kong.
Happy 50th episode!
If I end up going to hell when I die, I already know it will specifically be for making you rank all of the songs in the Donkey Kong Country cartoon. Also, flawless taste with your placements.
I know this video is about donkey conga but that intro had me coughing my water at the hint of a yakuza video.
*glocks gun*
Do it.
Oh boy, Jungle Beat
13:03
Absolute Zero coming out of Spike Spiegel is in fact the last thing I thought I'd see today.
My favorite thing about New Play Controls version is that they added lives. If you enter a boss after a near perfect run and immediately get hit, you can take a stock and try again with that perfect score of bananas. The bongos somehow felt more natural to play this game with, though
When you said the full body shutdown my computer encountered some error and crashed. That scared me a bit.
so this came on via autoplay while I was asleep at my desk and whew boy that sudden megalovania woke me up at three in the morning.
The more he mentions it, the more I get curious about episode 5, the only lost media of this channel
I really want to watch it, I don’t even know what it was about.
man, i love ape. mr mcfumbles, you need more ape in your channel.
But why do you only have *One* DK slipper?
Fun Fact: In the Wii Player's Choice edition, there IS a plot:
Ghastly King and his army of Black Mist Creatures are threatening world domination, the four Kong fight's where the king's of there respective kingdoms but where bested by Ghastly King who proceeded to mind-control them, and it's up to our good buddy DK lll to thwart Ghastly's plans, free the Kong mind-slaves and prove himself as the one true king of the jungle!
Congrats on 75k subs my guy! Can't wait to see you hit 100k!
CZcams had this video recorded as partially-watched so when I opened it (intending on rewatching it), it started at 10:37 with the words "Dick fair."
Love your work Mr. McFumbles lol, I'd love to hear you sing "I'm Nobody's Hero" from the 5th episode of the cartoon ("Kong for a Day").
I think my favorite line from this video is 'Gross Donkey Kong commanding the universe.'
I mean that PSP squirrel commercial is literal perfection so....
I need the sound effect(s) at 2:46 that made me spill my milk.
Fun fact: donkey Kong country wasn’t the first game where that design appeared, it first appeared in donkey kong on the game boy in June of 1994 while country came out in November 1994
I think this is the best video to say this on, your content is genuinely some of the most entertaining stuff I've seen on the internet. Not only is your writing style phenomenal, you're also a surprisingly great analyst, both of which feed the autism beasts in my brain. I hope your one-hit-wonder status doesn't get you down too much, you're still a fantastic creator.
Fun fact, DK64 can be played without the expansion pack and it works fine in most cases. The downside is that in a few maps like the 2nd world there is a memory leak issue due to the particle effects going on that causes the N64 to run out of VRAM and crash. You wont see this every time as it is random, but this was the reason they gave it the expansion pack as they couldn't fix the bug in time for release. The game can still crash due to running out of VRAM but it takes something like being powered on for 32 hours in one map in a certain spot to do so now.
Another fun fact, the reason Nintendo let Rare go and was so keen on losing it, was because apparently Myamoto hated them since they beat him at his own game.
Found you at I think episode 4. You've kept me entertained since
I remembered when I found this channel from your megaman vs megaman battle network. keep up the good work
39:02 "He's the same as the other boss except his melons are electrified, which means you have to clap before they're safe to hit."
This is one of my all time favorite video games.
I'd love to see you talk about R.O.B., Nintendos Trojan Horse!
been here from the beginning can't wait to see more
Beat dark souls with the donkey Konga bongos
Ten days after its end, a group of angry fans demonstrated their dismay of the ending of La Planète de Donkey Kong at New York
It was so eventful, America still remembers that demonstration
Funnily enough, I had played Jungle Beats when I was younger and I had actually really enjoyed it. This is the FIRST TIME I’ve heard of it being played with a bongo controller.
Should we be worried he is showing signs of donkey kong ptsd?
"how long until someone beat dark souls with these?" i am afraid you're late by about *check calendar* by about seven years
Watching this with my DK bongos next to me
happy i started watching your vids when i did, feel like this will be another sam o'nella situation where i get to say i watched you before it was cool 4 years from jow
You finally knew that donkey kong isnt that babies character that you hated in the past
