I think you are referring to my Lavender Shampoo Video, BTMS-50 and emulsifying wax have emulsifying properties, they are not interchangeable in a shampoo recipe. BTMS-50 is specifically designed for hair care products and offers conditioning benefits that emulsifying wax does not provide. Also, Cetearyl alcohol being replaced with cetyl alcohol in shampoo it can be done, but it may slightly alter the consistency and feel of the final product.
