Divorced Couple Fall Back in Love After 10 Year Separation

- An Ohio divorced couple is saying "I do" for the second time thanks to their daughters. Just like the movie “The Parent Trap,” sisters Caroline and Rachel Gaede plotted to get their divorced parents back together. Their parents, Scott and Julie, separated 10 years ago. At the start of the pandemic, Scott joined his ex-wife's isolation bubble. That’s when the couple started to fall back in love with each other. Like in the movie, the couple retied the knot with their daughters by their side.
This is a throwback to a time when wholesome news like this was featured in the media WAY more often than it is now.

We’ve grown so soft as a society, and people need to realize that it takes a long time to be fully comfortable in the marriage. Rather than divorcing, they both should’ve been committed to each other no matter what, as the vows say, thinking about the effect this may have on their children. I’m not saying they specifically “rushed,” but most couples do.

This is so beautiful. My parents have been divorced for 14 years. My mom remarried but both my parents still talk about each other. I highly doubt my parents will ever get back together, but who knows.

I was away from my partner and father of my children for less then a year and that’s all it took for me to realize he was my soulmate and luckily enough I got him back 🥰 even had our 3rd kid together shortly after.

I briefly knew a guy. He and his wife married at 18 becase they had to, if you know what i mean. Two years later they had another kid. Two years after that, they got divorced. They both remarried but by the time they were 35, both single again. They reconnected. They ende up re-marrying and having another kid. Those first two were teenagers and got a full-sibling out of it. I was blown away. He said, "we were too young and too immature. It took time."

This is Beautiful! My parents divorced when I was 2 but in my 20s they both always talked about each other & wished they were older & more mature when they got married. Both of them talked about another chance & I think it really may have happened but unfortunately, my dad had a heart attack & passed away so they never got the chance. He was a wonderful dad and raised me as a single father since I was 2.
Me and boyfriend weren't married,12 years ago, I wasn't ready for a marriage when I first met him,so,I bailed,we have been together for 3 years now,hes getting ready to propose.
My biggest heartache was leaving him. He loves me,I just took a bit longer to love him,as much as he loves me.
