  • How is it even possible to score 62 points in a game? Steph Curry does it and does it seamlessly and w/o appearing to exert much effort. Golden State vs Portland Trailblazers. My reaction includes box-score analysis.

I think 3PA is included in the FGA since it’s part of a field goal. Since Curry shot 16 three and make 8 of them, he also shot 15 of the 2 point shots and make 10 of them to get the combine FGA of 31(16+15). He got 24 points from 3s, 20points from 2s and 18 points from FT and that adds up to 62 points. I hope this make sense for you Coach.

Fg is how many shots he made that game so you wouldn't times that by 2. You would take how many 3 pointers he made(8) and subtract it from the fg so (18-8) which is 10. The you take that 10 and times it by 2 (10 x 2) and take his 3 pointers and times them by 3 (8 x 3) and add his free throws(18) 20 + 24 + 18= 62. If I made that kinda difficult sorry not really good at explaining things. Good vid btw.

I don't know Coach. Hard work is a understatement. You have to live in the gym
