If you have Blind Spot monitoring, there will be an extra wire and connector popping out from the opening of the lower (outer) clip, so be careful not to damage the harness as you attempt to release that clip with your screwdriver. The harness is also very short, and you will need to disconnect it from the back of the mirror to be able to access the clips and undo them. Otherwise, it takes 10 minutes per mirror following your instructions, the new indicators are very bright and just look cool. Well done.

Love your videos on Defender. Question: is there a way to reprogram the logic of when the Fog Lights illuminate? They turn on when you signal right or left at lower speeds. I want to use the wiring harness for an off road light bar (and activate it with the stock Forward Fog Light toggle on the stalk), but right now, that means the light bar turns on when I signal! Thanks for your help with all things Land Rover

Hi Simon, I managed to fit these myself ok however I feel I might have damaged the reverse tilt in the passenger side mirror. Now when reversing the mirror goes down a lot and doesn't come back to its original position. I wonder if you have seen this before and if you managed to fix it?
Sorry for late reply to this one. I have not seen or heard of this before. The adjust motors are normally pretty robust. Maybe just gently push it fully upwards against the motor to see if that resets it.

Sorry we have a lot of problems with shipping at the moment - we used to pay $5000 to ship a container - this rose to $16,000 so we would have had to increase our prices .. the shipping rates have fallen now so we have product coming in but we have a pretty empty warehouse right now - so empty we were painting the floors today ! Not yet - they are in stock just the final fixing spacers I am waiting for.
IMO… Do yourself a favor and just remove the mirror cover. No need to fiddle around with removal of the mirror at the risk of breaking the motor! (I did it trying to pull the mirror off…I have big hands 🤷).
The cover removal is relatively easy with the use of a proper plastic trim tool and you can change the indicator from there!

I cannot test them as I do not have a US model but we have sold them to the US and no one has said there is an issue so yes these will work !
Sorry, not a fan of dynamic indicators............................they are not as EFFECTIVE as a normal indicator, had them on 2 Golf Rs and hated them, my new Touareg thankfully does not have them, only my personal opinion. When I put my LED indicators on, I want them to all flash at the same time as bright as possible. The next time you see an HGV truck indicate to pull out of the slow lane and see his LED dynamic indicators you will see how ineffective they are compared to normal indicators.🤭
Hi Mark - you raise some valid points - the indicators are large and well placed on the Defender and so should be clear to see with these.
Being a vw they probably never worked in the first place
