Leonardo, my husband and I also know the pain of betrayal and it is when you hurt most that the Lord is closest to you, you are just too hurt to know that. This is what I have learnt over the past decade whilst trying to pull myself out of the dark quagmire that was engulfing me. One night recently I watched you cover a song, I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it, but you talked about 'being still and knowing that I am God' you asked us to close our eyes and just do that 'be still' and wait for the Lord to touch you. I did just that and I felt the presense of God just like I did in the past. As I was sitting here I felt my husband touch my shoulder and he asked if I was alright because I was crying. The Lord touched my heart and melted the wall that I had built around it. Thank you for your ministry you are reaching many people. Love from a friend in Australia 💖

I've enjoyed your reaction. When Philip said that he "was" something once also, he meant his life before he came to know the Messiah, (basically some kind of sinner living a sinful lifestyle). Then once he said that when you encounter the Messiah, "am" is all that matters... He meant what GOD allows you to become as a born again believer in CHRIST. (i.e. I am born again and live my life differently now) :) Be Blessed!

I KNOW what the architect was feeling! Someone marred ALL my artwork and it could not be “fixed” I had to destroy it all. As I struggled with giving them up, the Lord asked me, “if you really NEED these, why do you need Me”. I gave them up and He blossomed my ministry with power and wisdom and knowledge, because It was part of emptying myself of self.

Later in the book, he says: “And so, perhaps, with God. I have gradually been coming to feel that the door is no longer shut and bolted. Was it my own frantic need that slammed it in my face? The time when there is nothing at all in your soul except a cry for help may be just the time when God can’t give it: you are like the drowning man who can’t be helped because he clutches and grabs. Perhaps your own reiterated cries deafen you to the voice you hoped to hear.”

I loved What you expressed about how stressing certain words (weather in Scripture or not) can change the meaning of the text. As you were talking I couldn't control the smile that came to my face:). Certainly, this has a negative affect at times. But as someone who has had deep and personal experiences with Jesus Christ through scripture, I also think that this can be a positive thing. You can read the same passage of scripture differently and you will get something different out of it every time. All it takes is a couple of words that you did not notice before to open your mind and get you to think about something in a new way. Every weakness also has a strength hidden in it somewhere.

Hi, here I'm from October 16, 2022 appreciating what you are doing for those who live and love outside organized dogma. And we can all see how much you love, how much you have surrender to the Love that is held within the very hearts of those who love Jesus, but need no church or pastor to lead us there. We are open and receiving and very new and fresh ways. Yes, He talks with me. He found me to write for Him his new message. It is thrilling to be part of what He wants to share, a new message of liberation. He needs us all and it isn't going to look like or sound like the Bible 2000 years later. But it doesn't mean it isn't coming from His loving heart.
I am new to your channel and heard about the Discord in your older posts. I am so sorry for your experience with him shutting it down.
Our experiences are often times meant just for us in how God know we’re wired, however some well-meaning Christians negate those experiences because it’s not what they think should happen.
The only caution I would give is to be sure it’s not an attempt of the enemy (not people BTW) to draw us away from Who Jesus really is in the Scriptures and instead rely on our experiences. It’s a delicate balance.
Will be praying for you as you continue your journey and will also pray for the person who went back on his word/promise to you.

P.S. Just as we are all different, so are our experiences and ways of hearing from our Savior. None of us experiences of meeting our Savior and coming to know Him are different, as it should be. Just as we are all different in the way we learn, we look, we do things differently, so are our relationships with Him. None are wrong If We are Following His Word !!
Am is present tense. Was is past tense. Once you meet the Messiah, Am is all that matters...who you are now, most importantly who you are now in Him!

In seminary, a professor of mine described inerrancy as an issue of “faith” in that there are things we may not understand this side of heaven. My hope is in Christ…not in my understanding of Scripture. That has been so helpful for me.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. You said so much that to try and explain what resonated with me would take up too much space. Let me just say that I understand and know what you're trying to express. I missed the live streams of The Chosen seasons 1 & 2, but I'm subbing now in the hopes I can join in on season 3.
You asked about a time when we felt God's love... It was about a year ago. I was going to take care of a family member. I was angry, hurt, and overwhelmed by the responsibilities and demands put upon me by my family and myself. I felt hopeless and stuck. I stopped at a drive through to get coffee. As I pulled up to the window to pay and receive my drink, the cashier said the person ahead of me paid for my order. Such a simple thing... it was only seven dollars and something... I tried to pull up and thank the person, but he refused to look at me. I pulled out into traffic and burst into tears. I cried the final twenty minutes to my destination. I think it was the first time in months that my heart felt gratitude, that perhaps I did matter.
I felt alone for a long time even though I am one of six children. I had been arguing with my family for weeks about sharing the work load, about our responsibility as family to step up, and I felt an overwhelming need to step in when everyone else said no. I resented my selfless nature, hated that I cared, and wished I could just abandon my post and be excused like everyone else, but I couldn't. Giving is my gift.
That simple gesture by a stranger made me feel seen. It is difficult to explain how something so small could make one feel significant, but it did and I know God had a hand in it. After twenty years of abstaining, I started praying again. I now see and feel God everywhere.

I’m 42, male. A little over 2 years ago my life was turned upside down. I have Ulcerative Colitis, Pouchitis, Chronic Pancreatitis and Pancreatic Insufficiency. I’ve lost so much a weight I feel like a shell of what I used to be. Thank you for reviewing this series, I’ve been watching every episode and crying my eyes out. I’m sorry, I’m just really in a bad place right now and was hoping for some prayers. The one thing I’m happy about is that it helped me start to build a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you to anyone who might read this. ❤
I see myself in each of these characters in one way or another, but Nathaniel's story is my story, more so than I've ever seen my story in any other story, even those I've written myself. I too gave my life to one particular way of serving God, only to see it all go up in smoke. I too despaired, and the person Jesus sent to me found me in a messy, neglected house, sleeping the long hours of the depressed. I was skeptical about the hand of hope that was held out to me, but I was urged to just "Come and see," and at last I did. I came face to face with Jesus, and found that He knew me better than I knew myself, and He loved what He saw in me. That realization changed everything - and then He offered me a new way to serve Him, a new vision of what I was actually born to do.

I was raised by a God fearing mother but walked away as a adult, I do feel guilty for waking away for all that I have done but I experienced Jesus hands in my life and I am so happy that He wants me ❤❤

Just watching now and commenting as I go. "Am" in the context of this conversation is, each of the disciples had different and sometimes sketchy backgrounds, but once called it only matters who they are now. Right or wrong, he's suggesting that their pasts don't matter.

You have made me cry so many times in this video. I am so proud of how far you have come, letting God work in your life. We are all still learning and questioning the things God does, that is what it means to be a Christ follower, to seek Him and know Him better. This video is one of my favorites because The Holy Spirit is talking through you and it is so beautiful to see how your wording change. I can see The Holy Spirit in you and how He is working. I love it! You are preaching in this video!!! When we come to Christ and follow Him we are attacked by the enemy and some of us let him win, you are right we need to listen and understand others. Our stories connect each other. That breaks my heart about Marilyn Manson. I pray that he lets God see the real God and not what he experienced. Some make others look bad and it is sad. I am so happy that you are still connecting with Him.

Your point about “I didnt say she took the money” is a good illustration of why the ancient liturgical churches don’t believe in “Scripture alone”. Written words can be misinterpreted when removed from their context
Even context can be misleading. I am questioning the writing because God asked me to question it. The Father revealed to me years back that not all that was written is Truth. I know I'm going to get a lot of backlash for that, but that's what He wants and that's what I'm doing.

What a profound statements! Once you meet the Messiah I Am is all that matters. The I am statements from Jesus. Jesus said I am the bread of life (John 6), I am the light of the world (John 8), I am the gate of the sheepfold (John 10), I am the food shepherd (John 10), I am the resserection and the life (John 11), I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14), and I am the True Vine ( John 15). And I am Alpha Omega Beginning and the End.
I’m sorry but I don’t think he said “I am”. He only said “am”.
You are right that when we are in pain we forget that God is right there with us. When my only son was murdered I asked God where he was when my son was killed and did not realized God was weeping with me until God came to me to let me know how much grieving he was going through. Because he came me an angel and human wickedness has destroyed him before his time. So, you are correct!

i love phillips philosophy in this episode. to this point in the show, " once you meet the messiah, AM is all that matters" is still my favorite line. it almost translates to 2 corinthians 5:17 " Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Our message at church this morning was to stay out of the box because God's not in the box! It was an amazing message! 🤗
And, yes. I've experienced THAT moment! Raised in a church all my life and I've always been a believer. But after that experience (which my church said couldn't happen) I was no longer a believer. After that I KNEW - I was a Knower! And my whole world was different! Life means so much since then and a peace yet excitement is in me every second of every day! I still have sadness, get tired & frustrated, question things, etc, but nothing overshadows what's been unlocked deep within me. I loved hearing you speak of it in this video. My Pastor told me not long ago that many see Jesus as forgiving every time you do some little thing wrong. Then he said that Jesus doesn't have to work that hard now - He FINISHED the hard work of dying for our sins! Now, when someone believes He sticks you in his pocket and the Father sees only the perfection of His Son and not the sins you're forgiven of! He knows you're in His Son's pocket, but all He sees is perfection because you are in Him and He's in you. What a wonderful thought, no? 💞💞💞

My dear friend had to die alone because of covid. He did not have it but the nursing home was not allowing visitors. Even the priest he wanted to see told me he could not go, they were not allowed. A priest he did not know heard hid last confession.

If I am being honest, what is my central truth in life? The main thing? Is my only hope in His grace? My only righteousness His shed blood? That I will join His countess children from every generation; singing and dancing in gladness...because He has rescued us with His love?
Life and death in the power of the tongue, I watched the whole video and what you talked about at the end is correct. Your words have the ability to build up as well as break down
"Once you meet The Messiah, am is all that matters" the word 'am' here is a contrast to the 'was' in his "I WAS once something else." Meaning, one you meet Him, the past doesn't matter, only the time you meet Him, and from then on, is what matters. :)
Regarding "Am is all that matters" I understand why many referred to "I am the great I am" also "I am that I am" but outside of that, something I didn't hear mentioned that I take from it is that who you were is not who you are now. Am is now, not the past. Our identity has been changed by I am.

Being German and about 95% fit in understanding English, I like your vids much as you do some stops in between for better understanding or pointing out on things. BTW: your stopping the vid when Jesus returned exausted after a whole day of healing was right on spot - it gives the whole scene so much room to grasp how deep he loves us. I was also completely in tears in that silent break because it revealed once more: while we are fussing over unimportant things he was suffering for others - and finally us all.
I thought i was made to be artistic, in fact when Christ found me I was so excited and i thought i was meant to use my art to preach the Gospel but then He told me He wanted me to just preach the Gospel. That felt like re programming my life qnd existence but it wasn't difficult to adjust to, it was actually easy. He gave me the will
You will never be pure, we are human. GOD IS THE ONLY WAY to be clean, he keeps cleaning us if you repeat, is is like your dad . A good dad will forgive you even if you do wrong. You are so correct in your thoughts, you will enjoy the rest of the show, it is good
Why wouldn't you stop doing wrong? I question whether my identity stops at "Human". Is that who I am, or is that my form? I'm asking, I'm not trying to say anything or teach anything, I am asking. What is it that I am? The flesh? The mind? I am the watcher of all the things that come and go in my mind and body, so I can't be that. The body I had when I was an infant is long gone, these are not the same bones, the same flesh. Cells die and new ones come, thoughts come and go, ideas come and go, beliefs come and go... but something is still present and observing all of this coming and going. What is that? What is it that sees the wrong doing? what is it that is a slave to the flesh? what is it that is a slave to the mind? What is it that feels the peace of God for an instant right before the mind drags us back to the world? That's more REAL than any thought, any sensation, any emotion... thoughts and emotions are fleeting, but who I am is not. It is eternal, it existed before I was born and will exist after I am dead. Maybe I am going too deep into this, but these are all questions I have asked myself in my meditations with The Great Spirit and the answers, the discovery has been transformational!!
Leonardo, what you are experiencing is the real living God JESUS CHRIST! You are experiencing Him in truth & in spirit because your heart is open to coming to know Him in an intimate REAL way. My spirit leaped with Joy as you shared your experiences even though religious folks will write off such experiences because it’s not in the book and blah blah blah.
But I hear the Lord saying “Continue to seek me with all your heart & I will show you amazing things.
