Hi Leonardo I just wanted to put my comment under here and say I really appreciate the Chosen Reaction videos that you do and you bring things up that I missed it I didn't think about. I just watched your video from season 2 episode 3 where you elaborated more on why you don't want to be called a Christian and that's it's something you feel like you have to earn like be a good person to earn His love and be worthy of it. But that's the thing, you don't earn, no one does, no one can, it's freely given. His love is freely given, His grace is freely given, He already died for you to be approved so just receive it, it's already yours. When Jesus died on the cross, it was a new covenant being made which He is the High Priest which is the covenant of Grace. We are no longer under the old covenant of Moses where we have to earn God's Love and His approval but under Grace where God is working for us, already Loves and approves of us and we just receive His Love, His Grace (unmerited and undeserved favor) and we just live surrendered to Him and let Him work in us, through us while giving thanks and worshipping him.

Jesus healed me. I was a suicidal alcoholic and one night laying in a room where some guy committed suicide I stared at the black stain on the carpet ( from his over dose ) I bagged God to take my alcoholism away. It had beat me.The next morning I sat up in bed and literally pinched myself. I felt different. That was 38 years ago and I haven't touched a drop of alcohol since then nor do I desire it. Thankyou Jesus✝️🙏

I have a similar testimony. I had a sniffing addiction and when I realized it, I saw I was in trouble. I was trapped. I surrendered it up to God in my spirit. The next morning, when I woke up, the desire was completely gone! It's been 20+ years free with no recurring. God is good!

I suffered from scoliosis which is a deformity in the curvature of the back. I had a reverse S curve (picture an S written backwards). This curve gave me many problems, a misaligned hip, pinched nerves and is irreversible without surgery. It prohibited me from playing sports and games as much as I wanted because it gave me a lot of pain for years and kept growing worse. One night at a church conference a pastor was praying for healing over the crowd. When he spoke about backs and spines I instantly saw a vision of Gods hands moving up my back and straightening it. I felt my back get hot and my muscles contort and get used to my new spine! I grew a couple inches and was taller than my dad when I got home. Also dozens of other healings happened that night. Through doctors visits they can’t explain the complete healing I received and it’s funny when new doctors look at my spine since they don’t know I ever had a deformity. Praise be to God!

I am a faith healer (God heals through me by faith, I'm just a tool) and when I pray for people sometimes my hands get hot. So it is very fascinating to me that you mentioned that your back got hot. The Kingdom of God has come near to you. Praise God. I have been trying to see greater and greater healings that God has performed so that I may strengthen my faith and do greate things to praise him (if that makes sense) Anyway... JUST THIS MORNING the preacher mentioned someone who has skuliosis and then I saw your testimony. Praise God and thank you for posting this.

I am a big fan of The Chosen never got the chance to watch it with someone but watching these I feel like I finally get to watch it with someone so thank you! By the way, I wanna leave my testimony here for anyone who would like to give it a read so here it goes...
I lived my entire life in darkness being lost and had no idea from the moment I was born until I was 29 years old.
At 12 years old I was prescribed anti depressant medication I thought too much of reality, the not knowing of what happens in the afterlife that terrified me to where I would have these mini panic attacks whenever I thought about it too much. I guess I thought no one will ever know what happens after death so why worry about it. And as I got older I felt like I slowly learned how to block out those thoughts by the time I was in my late teen years then that’s when the addictions started. By the time I was in my 20’s it’s like the thoughts practically disappeared to where it was never brought to mind what happens after death.
If you would’ve asked me what I believed what happens in the afterlife before I was a believer I would’ve had different ideas. I might’ve said annihilation or reincarnation only because these are things I heard from other people in my life. I also believed at one point that when our soul leaves our body we just wander the earth until the earth was destroyed then we were annihilated. I was skeptical about a lot of things including the Bible I wasn’t sure if Heaven was real but I didn’t wanna say it was fake.
I didn’t know what to believe until the summer of 2020 when my life changed forever, I was scrolling through social media and I was seeing things that started making me think hard about my life, things that were saying “get right with God before it’s too late” I had also come across a Bible verse and I’m not sure if I ever read a Bible verse in my entire life and the verse was 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Then I was seeing myself the way our Holy God was seeing me and it was horrifying which I’ve never saw in that way my entire life. I’ve never once cared about what God thought of me until that summer and I could not stop thinking about it no matter how hard I tried the more I tried the worse it got. It’s like a light came on and I couldn’t turn it off, I was caring so much of what He thought of me. It felt like God was showing me how deceitfully wicked my heart was by giving me a new heart and looking at my former self and heart was horrifying. But at the same time I was thinking maybe I’m just going insane.
I did think at one point maybe I was losing my mind because I was looking up symptoms to schizophrenia. I made an appointment to see a doctor and she prescribed me depression and anxiety medication and when I took them that only made things worse also. The doctor also recommended counseling but I knew that would not help me at all. There was a part of me that didn’t want to believe what was happening because of those addictions in my life that I didn’t want to get rid of that I knew were wrong. So I was online trying to justify them just so I could hold onto them
There were times in my life I heard about Jesus and what He did on the cross but it never made sense to me.
Sometime after my visit with the doctor I found myself watching videos about sin and forgiveness and finally for the first time in my life what Jesus did on the cross made sense in my lost condition, it wasn’t too long after that I found myself at the edge of my bed on my knees crying to God and telling Him how sorry I was for my long life of failures and mistakes and how ignorant I was.
It wasn’t long after this I found myself reading the sinners prayer and I was crying feeling a change in me that was taking place. What happened that summer of 2020 was a miracle and I thank God for that all the time.
At this time I wanted to find a church that I could start attending and it was shocking to find out that where I had been living for 2 years my church was practically in my backyard! That’s when I met Pastor Paul and he gave me the Bible I still have and read today.
About a week later I came across this article titled “God Calls Sinners to Salvation” and it was talking about the Holy Spirit convicting the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. It wasn’t until around this time I heard of being born again I’ve not once in my life heard of being born again until it was happening to me, while reading this article I was crying my eyes out more than I ever cried my entire life because everything that was happening finally made sense and I wasn’t going insane. I was thanking God for the work He had been doing in my life.
I knew I was being led toward the Bible and I also knew when I read it I’ll believe every word it said and I still do to this day. I’ve never once looked at sin the way I do now. I also not once heard of the word “repent” until last summer also.
Living in addiction to multiple things was bondage that I couldn’t get out of. I always envisioned myself in my pre-conversion days being stuck in those until the day I died. I used to always think “I can quit if I want to I just don’t want to” until it came time to actually try to quit and it almost seemed impossible and I thought after those attempts I’ll never quit and I was completely fine with that at that time. I wasn’t happy when I was sober I felt like the only way I can find true happiness is through not being sober minded and when I was sober I was miserable. After being brought into the light and seeing the truth I knew God was telling me I had to let them go because they weren’t for me anymore. And I know I would’ve been stuck in my addictions until the day I died if it wasn’t for Him.
I also stumbled at a time in my walk by going back to my old ways and going back to sin and I only did so by taking Gods grace for granted by trampling His grace underfoot by thinking I’m adopted into Gods family it’s okay to sin because He will forgive me anyway, but no! That is not how it works at all! Being saved by Gods grace is not a license to sin and I’ve learned a lesson from that time in my life and now my faith is stronger than it’s ever been! Whenever temptations to sin come now I always think about John 14:15 when Jesus said “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” I don’t deserve what He has done for me. I feel so unworthy. I feel like the most unworthy person here. But I know how unconditional His love is for His children and that’s what keeps me going everyday. So that is my story about how I once was lost but now I am found. I’ve got Jesus, how could I want more!

In scripture, Jesus shows through the Law that it is never wrong to do good on the Sabbath.
Jesus also, in scripture, establishes that the Sabbath was made for man and that the Son of Man (Jesus, Son of God, God in the flesh) was Lord even of the Sabbath (also early season 2 episode).

I hope Leonardo has seen your comment. Jesus perfectly fulfilled everything that was written in Scripture (the Old Testament was their Scripture) and did not break any part of it. Along with Scripture, the Pharisees followed oral traditions (rules) that were made up and added by men. It was those that Jesus challenged/broke and that brought Him into conflict with them. The Pharisees had elevated their rules placing them on the same level as God's revealed word in Scripture.

Sorry, took the road of least resistance:
The Zealots were a political movement in 1st-century Second Temple Judaism which sought to incite the people of Judea Province to rebel against the Roman Empire and expel it from the Holy Land by force of arms, most notably during the First Jewish-Roman War (66-70). Zealotry was the term used by Josephus for a "fourth sect" or "fourth Jewish philosophy" during this period.

I enjoy seeing others reactions to this beautiful show so I’m very glad to have found you doing these reactions. I shouldn’t have looked at the comments tho. Some people are just miserable people and feel the need to spread their misery to others. The opposite of what they should really be doing… finding the root cause of their unhappiness and addressing that. I’m so very sorry you’ve gotten so many crude comments. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing your reactions and hearing your take on it all. Much love to you 😊❤🙏

I feel like that's exactly what happened in the episode. Simon the Zealot was about to turn his misery into a weapon and spread it to the Romans but Jesus healed the root cause of his unhappiness thus stopping the murder.

I love this episode. The opening was so beautiful- telling a story without words. I also love the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles and the deep meaning.
The significance of each of the Feasts of Israel are amazing! The Feasts are a “Shadow of things to come. Jesus Christ is the substance”.
There is a prophetic aspect to The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) God instituted all of the Feasts when Moses was leading the Hebrew people in the wildernesses. These feasts were to be celebrated every year and still are today. However, there has been and will be a future fulfillment of each of them by Jesus. Passover was fulfilled when Jesus died on the cross- Jesus became our “Passover Lamb.” The Feast of First Fruits was fulfilled with his resurrection. The Feast of Weeks was fulfilled at Pentecost, 50 days after the resurrection and 10 days after Christ’s ascension.
There are 3 “Fall Feasts” that have not yet been fulfilled, the last one being the Feast of Tabernacles. In Moses’ times the Tabernacle was a symbol that God was “dwelling with his people”. After Christ’s second coming, Jesus will rule on the new earth for 1,000 years- also known as the Millennium. This will fulfill the “Feast of Tabernacles” as Jesus will “dwell with his people” . The 4 Spring and 3 Fall Feasts tell God’s beautiful and detailed plan of redemption. For a better explanation you can listen to this, taught by a Messianic Believer in Jesus.

Once again, I loved your reaction and how this episode touched your spirit to tears. This episode touched me so, that I pretty much watch it at least 2-3 times a week since it first aired. I do this because it has so many messages within it that encourages when I need it. The message of brotherly love (obviously the 2 brothers), the danger of religious legalism (the pharisees and their many oral yet made up/false rules regarding the Torah), a first glance look at the Zealots (how they came to be and what they stood for), and lastly but most importantly, JESUS's confrontation with the man who was bound for 38 years seeking to be healed through desperation, false myths, and everything except THE MESSIAH. You posed an amazing question, "What is our pool when looking for healing"? When you look at the condition of the world today, some of mankind's pools are alcohol, drugs, seeking fulfillment in others, committing crimes, hurting others to make ourselves feel better, etc. JESUS is the ultimate "water stirrer" and HEALER for our minds, bodies, souls, and spirits!!! I look forward to your upcoming reactions to the rest of season 2! BE BLESSED & MAY GOD's LIGHT ILLUMINATE YOU DAILY:)

It actually isn’t a law that you can’t heal or carry your bed on Shabbat/ the Sabbath. The teachers of the law had added the oral of the law of Moses. The actual law of Moses says to rest, and honor the Sabbath. You were not to do actual work. The Rabbis made it so it was considered a “ sin” to carry your mat, to heal, or if someone was hungry and picked some wheat or other grain ( for themselves )to eat on Shabbat was a “sin”. The scriptures say that Messiah/ Christ/ Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath and has the authority over Shabbat

About your destiny dilemma I tend to ask people if they believe they can have free will or is everything written... I wait for them to answer no matter what answer they give I explain it like this........ Free will is like noticing a fork in the rode the path to the left leads one way the right another an dead ahead is yet another choice but destiny is when you realize no matter Wich path you choose they all lead to the same trail the same end the same outcome... It helps with visuals as well I'll draw a fork an as I'm explains it I connect the ends so that they all are one trail.
