    Two different surgeons looked into my issues. My Lumbar verts looked like a derailed train. They suggested fusing the bottom 6 vents in my back.The third surgeon told me he was conservative and that surgery usually reduces pain but does not remove the pain. He suggested a book called Foundation: redefine your core.Goodman and Parks. I was taking 28 mg of dilaudid per day just to function. I did those exercises from the book and with in 2 months I was off the meds. Ive been doing the routine for 10 years now and I am 65. I lift weights and ride my exercise bike. I use the Foundation exercises for a warm up 3 days a week. takes 15 minutes. Ive suggested this to many people. My son and son in laws all have had success getting out of pain from job injuries. Please take a look. The stretches and movements are a great help in balancing my muscles. I have had no surgery on my back.

    I was diagnosed with lumbar stenosis about 15 years ago, but have never really had pain. My worst issue is when I walk I can’t keep myself upright without it affecting my legs and then I can hardly walk unless I use a walker or cane. Never had surgery. Hoping to be able to take the 28 day program.

    I have spinal stenosis, due to a car accident, in 2002. I had chronic lower back pain until 2021. I cured it, from walking excessively, for three months. My Dr. told me tho, there was no cure for it, but now I know what he meant, which is it just can't be healed. Yesterday I did a lot of work, stressing my lower back, today, no pain, just stiffness.

      @@deborahswett3508 Sorry. Terrible. Whatever it is going wrong, keep watching Dr. David's videos. Get on a low-carb diet with meat, veg, eggs, butter, walnuts, coconut oil.... NOT SEED OILS.... study up on seed oils and do real butter from grass fed cows and organic coconut oil. You will be so satisfied you will not have cravings. And if you have the time and energy learn about the ketogenic diet and get your body into ketosis. With my own diet I learned to cook different kinds of liver and chicken hearts. You can have bacon and eggs and butter every day and you will not be hungry if you give up the carbs. You may have to do your cooking from a wheelchair! I do a low-carb diet and it means no bread, low carb veggies only, no potatoes, no pasta. You will have to do a lot of research. Consult CZcams for Dr. Eric Berg and Dr. Ken Berry. Learn about intermittent fasting. One of the worst things for a body is eating between meals. That's all I can tell you here. ALSO PLAN TO LEARN ABOUT FASTING SO YOU CAN DO IT FOR A DAY OR TWO... Left leg surface parisia and deep pain got me to go to to Doc. Sciatica, mild left limp, and some balance issues had been there for a couple of years. Diagnosis of two "chronic and progressive" (Doc's words) diseases; type 2 diabetes and an arthritis related degeneration of sumbar spine. Long story short; I used KETO diet to return A1c to vary between 4.8 and 5.1 and Teeter inversion routine to totally resolve symptoms of numbness, pain, weakness, balance of left leg. Doc does not know what to think; I wonder what the radiology studies would show, but not curious enough to pay for them.

    I suffer with multiple sites of Stenosis (mild to Moderate Central stenosis). I've been to 6 different Soinal and Neural Surgeons during 2018-19. Including a Renowned Spinal Surgeon at Columbia Pres in NYC, Dr. McCormick. After his review of my MRIs (Cervical and Lumbar with numerous issues), he opined that "No one is going to touch your Lumbar spine.....Too Much Arthritis. I would have to rebuild your entire Lumbar spine". The chronic pain is never a 9 or 10, but varies form 4-7 , BUT it's the terrible Stiffness, the loud Crunching sounds coming form my entire Back & Neck. I can feel the Vertebrae Grinding and cracking. I also have Dextroscoliosis of 25 degrees which is a result of my right leg discrepancy of being shorter by 1.15". I'm 71 yo now, but in 1966 at age 15 I fractured the right femur playing HS Football. When the Body cast came off after 2.5 months (after 6 weeks prior to that in trcation in the hospital), the leg was shorter -much to the surprise of the Ortho Dr at that time. He left that Unaddressed, handed the bill to my parents (Europeans who did not think to ask!). About 15 years later or so, the lower back stiffness started to rear it's Ugly head. Slow walking was a Killer for me even then. Much Worse now. I went to a Chiro than circa 1986, first time. As soon as I walked into the office, he said" Man, You got Problems....and They will be much worse down the Road. Boy was he right. It was then that i started to wear a modified lift in my right shoe (not eneough to make up the 1 ") to ry to "stabilze" the Leg Length Discrepancy. But that didn't work, as the spinal issues form the SI Joints traversed up into my Neck and even the skull. I never drank much water: coffee, tea and of course moderate alcohol.... That is a Big problem. Your back discs are 80% Water. Who knows maybe some of the results would have been modified by hydrating. Oh yeah I have Degenerative Disc Disease throughout with some of the discs "mighty thin" according to my present Ortho. After the surgical opinions, all of whom said to keep doing Pain Management. I don't take Drugs...only the occasional Advil [a Carpenter told me to take 1 or 2 Advil + 1 Extra Strength Tylenol - That works very well. The Tylenol is Not a NDSAID but deals with the referred pain, the Advil works in a different fashion against Inflammation).

    I have lumbar stenosis and left hip orthoarthritis. I have been following your videos and doing excercises and have moderately improved. Otgopedic doctors recomends operation but internal medicine doctor requested additional studies and beleives thaf with proper treatment would not have to be operated. Would a reumatologist and fisiatra be the best Doctors to assist? I have a lot of medical studies done to me Thanks,

      Hey Jose! We're sooo happy to hear that you're beginning to see improvements! The best expert to see would be a manual physical therapist. All those doctors you mentioned will tend to give you medications or recommend surgery.
      In the US, you can find a physical therapist trained similar to Dr. David at this website: aaompt.org/Main/Public_Resources/Find-A-Fellow/Main/Member_Resources/Find-A-Fellow.aspx?hkey=108c9a56-f793-45e4-b3ed-cefe5d871a94
      Dr. David is a fellow of the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapists. His specialty is orthopedic manual physical therapy, which is the ideal specialty for helping someone avoid surgery, injections, and medications.
      Normal physical therapists are best trained to help people right after surgery.

      Hi Jeff, We're so sorry to hear that you've been struggling with lumbar spinal stenosis for such a long time. It can be incredibly challenging to deal with symptoms like difficulty walking or standing, even without experiencing pain in the buttocks or legs. Many people may not understand the impact this condition has on daily life unless they've gone through it themselves.
      It is possible to not have pain in the glutes or legs as it manifests in people differently. We want to encourage you to focus on strengthening your glutes and abdominal muscles, as this can play a crucial role in managing lumbar spinal stenosis symptoms. We have a lumbar spinal stenosis playlist that we believe could be very beneficial for you. You can access it here:

    I tried softwave. Says sends stem cells to area

    • @epmanualphysicaltherapy
      @epmanualphysicaltherapy  Před rokem +1

      Hey Gloria, We're so sorry that you've are struggling with lumbar spinal stenosis pain! 🥺Thank your sharing your experience with Softwave and we hope that it has been to provide you with some releif.🙌 Stem cell treatment is great as it can provide the relief that you need but it is more important to address the muscle imbalance. The reason why this is so important is if the root of the problem is not corrected by strengthening the area the issue will reappear. Once you receive the stem cell treatment it is imperative to strengthen the area and work on rage of motion to prevent the issue from returning.
      An analogy for this would be if a person received liposuction and didn't address their eating habits, the weight would come back. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress!
