First off ... those three fiddles - WOW... Amazing. 2ndly .,. Rodney Crowell was Always the real thing.. Just keeps getting better with age. Great Band - Great Performance!
I remember my pretty Fraulein from time to time. I hope she has had a good life.Berlin 1961/1963
Hi fantastic country musicians and vocals top notch thanks for sharing 👍😏🤗🍀
Omigosh - used to sing this song in the family band - 60+ yrs ago. Nice !!
Rodney is one of the greatest.
Rodney Crowell is a class act.
The song always reminds me of my dad, a WWII vet. Was just a kid when I would go around with him and he'd drop in a local watering hole to see somebody. And the music would be on the old juke box. I know all the WWII vets have some kind of memory of europe and some of the gals there.
What a great song writer and singer and a fantastic bunch of fine musicians
Rodney is one awesome entertainer...also love Dawn Sears...may the Lord give her strength to face each new day...my prayers are with you, Dawn.
God Bless,
Jeff :)
I remember this song on the radio hit parade back in the 60’s in Toronto.
What a beautiful version of this song. Love the fiddles!!!!
This was my Dad and Moms favorite song as she was from Germany. Also loved Kitty Wells I'll Always be you Frauline.
Always loved this song since I was stationed in Wurtzburgh, in the 60's. My friends Mac Sullivan, and Freddy, the German Cowboy used to sing this at their respective country western clubs in the 80/90's. I think Teddy, and Doyle Wilburn had an up beat version of this song on their old TV show led by the great guitar riffs of Jimmy Capps. It had a driving beat, that had Teddy swaying to the beats of the band.
is everybody having a good time? put another log on the fire.. grandma got run over
Thanks so much for this, long way from Michigan yet so close to my heart to imagine being there.
Super musicians and great singing. I love that Texas Swing.
Oh the fiddles!!! Rodney. Vince. Perfect.
Only thing better than twin fiddles is triple fiddles.
Rodney has gotten old but he still sounds good
Rodney is the best! ❤
Rodney has gotten so old...never thought he would
Tom Tapp. Yes Tom aging will even get those young never getting old yuppies with white teeth....soon their hair. WILL match their teeth😁.
packingten yeah u are right! Hehehe
Jim Halfpenny true
An old favourite
Time Jumpers ar a great group of players. They all seem so coooool! also great musicains. I wish they would allow the longer guitar breaks. Andy is never in the high lite but barely visible in the corner. he is an awesome player alright
Danke scheon
Really nice. Thank-you so much for this. Dan.
Tasty steel q
Rodney tells a story about singing this in Holland. He is not quite on pitch on some of this, but his heart is in the right place.
should have adjusted that mic a bit higher...his neck down to sing into it inhibits his full potential
Forgot the words too if he ever knew them lol
love vince gill
I miss Dawn Sears wonderful voice
What do you call three fiddles on one stage? A strang section!
Use to be Johnny Cash's son in law. He was married to Roseanne.
Those fiddles.......
Still seems like a David Allen Coe song to me.
Is Brad Albin on bass, he used to be married to my second cousin?
Kind of forget the words there Randy or Rodney lol.
Lawton Williams' classic, not a bad job but Bobby Helms still the best version. This song made it around the world. I've heard it sung in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Kenya, Nigeria, and more. Have seen and heard recorded versions by singers from at least 15 countries.
