  • Is the life in the rural area really cheaper than in the city? How much does a single person living in Bavarian village spend per month? Detailed comparison of all costs one would have living in Bavarian countryside vs. Munich city center and average spendings in Germany. What is the share of accommodation costs for a person living in Munich and the one from the countryside? What will you get for the same amount of money?
    All the details are based on my experience living for over 20 years in Munich and over 2 years in the countryside. This video is giving you the cost related information, the decision whether to move to the village is of course to be based on more than money :)

    Hello Nathallia, thank you for sharing this I think all the prices are similar here in Belgium, only the prices for cars and energy are more expensive. Greetings Didi

      Hi Didi, thanks a lot for your feedback :) I remember from my visit to Brussels once that the restaurants prices are higher, but have really great food:) Probably I just went to the most touristic places from a Japanese guidebook :)

    Thanks for the video. I am planning to relocate with my family to Munich by Aug/Sept 2022.Is 5300 euros monthly net income (after tax) good salary in Munich, Germany for a family of 3 expats? Need to find a English medium school for my son as well for class 3 school admission. Any idea how much does it costs?

      Hi, thanks for your comment. The salary amount sounds pretty good, although a good apartment in Munich might be really expensive. The schools are usually free of charge (at least German ones, I would think an English school would be free as well). Good luck with your relocation and let me know if you have any other questions 😊

      @@natallia_indersdorf I guess a decent fully furnished apartment in Munich would cost at least 1800 euros for a family of 3 people? My understanding is that only Germany public school is free where as Bilingual schools would cost between 400-800 EUR per month and International school fees ranges between 900-1800 euros per month. Please confirm me.

      You are absolutely right about the apartment prices, you might be able to find a cheaper place, but quite far away like in the area I live (very north of Munich, 20 km away from Dachau). For the international schools I have unfortunately no experience. Probably best to research online:)

    Hello how are you? Thank you so much for sharing with us the cost of living in southern Germany. I would like to know if it is very difficult for foreigners to rent space in Germany?

    • @natallia_indersdorf
      @natallia_indersdorf  Před 2 lety

      Hi Pedro, it very much depends on where in Germany you would like to rent and whether you have a permanent employment contract. Also for how long abd what’s your bugdet. In Munich city center for example it’s quite difficult and not only for foreigners. Let me know if you have any specific questions:)

    I word of advice, which by the way, I base my opinion on a person by their actions and not where they are from or their ethnicity. There are decent, considerate and people of good moral character all over the world. Be very cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I lived next to Indian computer engineering students. Ever since they moved in I have been having issues with my Wifi and computer network being hacked. Besides that, they liked to save money and so they will fit about 5 people in a one bedroom apartment. Which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally they liked having phone conversations outside which usually tends to be in front of other tenants apartments which can cause a disturbance. They were asked not to disturb other tenements but they still kept doing it. When they used the laundry room they leave the clothes in the machines over night and sometimes even days, and do not clean up after themselves once they are done. Additionally, They are not very clean in general. Once an animal did poo near their front door and they never cleaned it up. This attracted flies in my home. It was a mess. Once they finally moved, everything was better. And the fly problem in my home went away. I am saddened and disturbed that people like this are moving in to Germany and causing a decline in society and the German way of life.
