@@gunfighter009 'Auto' will give you a response window ONLY when your opponent activates an effect, 'On' will give you a response at every change in game-state(on an activation, on summon, on resolution of a chain, after a card is set, after a card is drawn, etc)
By the way! In duel settings, you can set the Activation Setting (or whatever its called) to Type 1 (or whatever its called) to enable LMB as on, RMB as off, just like edopro.

Best guess for the sudden release with no warning is server load. If they give a warning beforehand people will clear their schedule or stay up late to play it first day, the servers get dog piled and go down. Doing a sudden drop gets only the people already available playing, and spreads everyone over two days at least.
Well when you put it like that I guess it makes sense. They keep people from no lifing it, so the servers are bearing a load more similar to their average than they would otherwise.
This would make sense if they hadn't peaked at 500k players lol

This is a game between friends not vs random it's more enjoyable to make mistakes and play it through since it's all for fun
If you care about about duel pass, surrender gets you 0 progress whereas a loss gives you like half a level in ranked. Just really annoying when the opponent has lethal and they take 10 minutes to jerk off their digital cardboard instead of finishing the game, but I don't want to give them the satisfaction of making me surrender. They gotta earn that win lol

They really should add ignore chain, normal chain, always chain, check the field feature like in edopro. At least with always chain and check the field feature, your opponent wouldn't know whether u have handtraps or not since u could just be bluffing
You can change it by pressing R1 I believe
I wish there was an "always chain" option that works like it does in ygopro. Just being able to make your opponent think that you may have a response is huge, and being able to take a second to process the game state outside the legal activation window of a hand trap or the like would be nice.

6:00 After missing the nib you definitely just hold it and use it to break the board with Droplet so they can't respond with monsters. You activate Desires and if they chain toad you chain called by then Droplet sending at least Desires and Nib for cost. You could even chain Called By and use it as your third send for cost

To answer the question of physical vs virtual packs. I think it comes down to the physical packs are a tangible product; a physical loot box if you will. While the virtual packs are not and are akin to Fifa card packs, making it virtual gambling.
That sucks with Nib in that first duel. In Legacy of the Duelist they had a feature where it was always on and you could hold down a button and then let go when they activated something so you could respond. Idk why something like that isn't here. Catering to the new players a little too much I guess

Not using Hold 1, there is no reason to not have this the default. Ergo Auto+Manual Activation.
Yeah auto does give info but the option to activate is needed. Toggle is bad for this reason.

CHAT....tech tip I use... if you Nibiru on your opponent and make them end their turn,Relinquished Anima could win you the game if you summon the token in the correct column,cheesing your way to victory. Jester confit anyone? Adhara? Instant fusion for restrict perhaps? :)

I swear, it's like Konami believes certain cards are fine to be at 3 or limited ( even though they are banned in the TCG ) simply because Maxx C is at 3.
In terms of the gamblin laws in Belgium, the reason why it’s a big deal is because of FIFA and EA basically ruining it for any type of Gotcha games. I thought that this game wouldnt be considered gambling b/c they at least gurantee you a SR or ultra rare in 10 packs whereas FIFA, EA, 2K, etc dont give you any guarantees of anything of value. And this game has a much better crafting system compared to those games. Really suprised master duel fell into this category tbh but oh well.
Edit: oh it just didnt have a release date in Belgium, so it is coming to Belgium…nice ✊🏾

More on the whole Belgium/Gambling Laws sitch, but don't take my word as gospel, this is just things I've picked up from dipping into both the gacha and TCG communities, and also just...being European and reading s lot about the whole legal situation of this stuff, especially since Battlefront 2:
Even though it's not the reason the game isn't out in Belgium yet, the usual reason why TCG packs can be legal but gachas can't is because you're buying a physical object that you legally own, as opposed to a digital copy within a videogame which is still under the ownership of either the publisher or the license holder.
To your point about people going “why isn’t this exactly the TCG format? Well that would be unfair to OCG players and it’s a global game” there’s a big problem with that in Konami’s advertising of the game. In every product description across all platforms it all reads somewhere in it “The definitive edition of the COMPETITIVE card game that has been evolving for over 20 years!” Konami has always sold this as the proper first party way to play competitive YuGiOh digitally. Currently both sects of the game can’t do that at all because the banlist is completely whack. So many people expected them to be using the TCG banlist for those regions because that’s how they sold it to us.
If it was never at all made out like it would be perfect for competitive YuGiOh and even to the point of wanting to run official tournaments on it I’d understand. If it was just a bunch of people assuming that this was going to be a perfect competitive way to play and highly skilled I would understand your point here. But that’s not the case and never has been.
Belgium is crazy i always laughed cause they banned transactions then after Belgium was always one of the countries global dokkan could count on for top grossing on hype units
