Hi, I'm French and I corrected what you wrote :
J'adore la chanson "Elle me dit" C'est ma chanson préférée !! Je suis Américaine et j'ai parlé le français pendant sept ans au moins. Bonne chance avec le français !!
Voilà j'espère que le fait de corriger ton commentaire ne t'as pas trop déranger 😅😊(Here I hope that correcting your comment didn't bother you too much)

Yesss!! Stromae is great! Thanks for sharing your suggestions!
No problem! Great video!
laura griffiths I’m trying to learn papaoutai. That’s why I’m here lol
pink martini, especially sympatique
YES PAPAOUTAI I LOVE THAT SONG XD
The only French songs that I can sing along to are papaoutai and les Champs Elysées by Joe Dassin. I plan to learn more
Well done! Champs Elysées is a great one!
I love papaoutai!
You're doing great ! As a French girl, I think I am able to tell you and so, I tell you : your pronounciation is very good (:
Personnaly, I am learning to sing Kpop songs (so in Korean) by doing this : first, I speak the lyrics slowly and without singing, to catch the good way to pronounce it. Then I speak/sing the lyrics, like, it's still speaking but in rhythm and faster. After, I try to sing along the song but in reduced speed and finally, I sing it normaly, in normal speed. I know your video is to learn French songs but I think the way I learn Korean songs works for French too (;
I used to hate french class (and still do a bit tbh) but i’m actually thankful that they sent me to french school because it’s very useful when living in a bilingual city
I think it will more simple with Disney’s songs because everybody knows the meaning of these songs and it’s easier to understand the translation.
Disney songs are a great idea!
Aurella It will be great/funny if you make a video about differences between Disney’s song in English and French. 😃
Sebiii AHHH, that's genius actually! Thank you for sharing this idea
Yeah I know the Cinderella song "C'est ca lamour" by heart
I see the light is so good in french!
Which French songs can you sing along with? 😄🇫🇷🎼
Aurella papaoutai and tous les memes
A lot of songs by Christine & the queens, my favourite one is nuit 17 à 52 😁
For Me Formidable- Charles Aznavour
Basically, all I can sing along to badly is the French national anthem and that's it.
Lauzzy Xo Since my last reply, I'm finally able to sing along to ça fait mal
So glad you're working on a Mika song, he is my favourite vocalist and I aspire to be like him someday. This is such an awesome video!
You are awesome :D I've been doing the same with Spanish. Music is literally the best way to learn a language in my opinion.
(I love you're hair and glasses and bASICALLY YOU'RE GOALS OK THNX--)
Hahaha thank you Baby Llama !
Beautiful songs and musics, in English or in French. You are very good teatcher in languages for all !
Thank you C MiMi!
I love your energy and excitement while learning
These are great tips maybe for more advanced people. If you're a beginner,. you should listen to the words, the sounds and just try and sing along and pronounce the words correctly without looking at the translations first. You need to get used to the words and how they sound. It's just like a baby, a baby listens and tries to pronounce words first, they don't read or understand translations until later.
Great tips :)
You are so good at this! This is very inspirational as a French intermediate learner and I love a lot of sings in French. Listen to VideoClub if you like French songs because its funky and challenging to learn.
MIKA I LOVE HIM! THAT’S WHY I’M TRYING TO LEARN FRENCH IN SONGS!
I began listening to Françoise Hardy and loved her songs. I learned two of her songs including Tous les garçons and La maison and I am quite happy with it as a beginner unfamiliar with the language!
Tous le garçons is one of my favourites!
I want to learn La vie en rose, but I’m literally in a 10% of French
I wanna learn la vie en rose
Just for you to know the only things I can say in french is:
-My Name is...
-hello
-thanks
-bye
-yes
I think that's it
czcams.com/video/m5ULN_iMDY0/video.html 😉
Thanks
I found the song faded by Alan walker but a french version so I know how the tune goes I just suck at pronouncing different languages correctly 😂

Thank you for making this video, Aurella. I'm working on learning the Italian song Emozioni, by Lucio Battisti, and this information is a great help in accomplishing my task. Cheers!
how did it go? 👀
@@eliza3986 it went great, thanks for asking :)
Louane - Si T'étais Là
I beginner to learn French. So he vous remercie.(thanks)
Im not french but tu chante très bien en français.
Thank you and you nailed it ❤❤❤❤
This was very helpful thank you ❤️
can you do la vie en rose?
Deffo going to have to do this when home alone 😂😂
Go for it Emily!
I know all the words to many French songs (Je t'aimais, je t'aime et je t'aimerai, La Vie en Rose etc.) and I can recite them with decent prononciation. You wouldn't confuse me for French. My problem is that I just can't sing and always wish I could. Listening to a recording of me singing anything would be akin to torture.
Do be careful with things that are not pronounced as expected. A lot of usually silent letters are pronounced in songs when it helps the rhythm of the song. Of course do it when singing,
thank you sooooooooooooo much for this video
You're welcome Greg!
Qui ou Non is the only song I listen too and Indila
Aurella thank you. These are very helpful tips #guruthursday currently writing a bilingual song
I'm Korean and I'm currently still trying learn english...but I can try learn this as well🇰🇷👍😂😐
I absolutely love Angèle and balance ton quoi by her. Also I can sing La vie en Rose

I would like to learn French along with you. Rather by myself..
fabuloous choice Aurella- very funny as usual
Glad you liked it Elz !
I would love a tutorial for the songs from Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock heart I'm low-key learning how to speak some french by the songs but I'm still not too good
Merci!
I did this with je cours and Ave cesaria by Stromae but i feel like I'm failing miserably lol guess I need more practice. Merci beaucoup pour ce vidéo!
Keep going! You're probably doing better than you think :)
Please don’t take any offense to this comment but at 2:11 when she said English did it sound like “anus” to anyone else😂
And I like La vie en rose
'Do You Hear the People Sing.' French version.
Hi Aurella,
Like your other videos, this video is also very helpful for beginners like me. As a beginner we will be overwhelmed with the number of French songs that are available. I suggest some among my favorites: La vie du bon côté, je suis malade & je t'aime by Laura Fabian.
Hi Sowmya, I'm glad you liked the video!
Ooh, I'll have to go and listen to those songs - thank you for the recommendations!
It's been a long time
But what if the English lyrics are still in Chinese? (I know that she is doing French but I just want to know if you can do in other languages)
Superbe accent 😍
Ur eyes r awesome indians should also get these colored eyes
Are you french? Please Answer me🥺
Personally I listen for The same English song but sung in french for example personne ne voit which nobody see
Great tip!

Hahaha! I don't know if you watched my last video. But the content is very similar and somehow different! =D Great video, btw! XD
Hey Stefan! Sorry I saw it but I didn't watch because it's in Portuguese 😅
I like your choice of music! Is there a track list anywhere?
- Pas cette chanson
- Il faut savoir
- J'ai cherché
- Je mange
Awesome
Ceci ne pas rap
That song is impossible for non native french speakers. Cest trip vite.
You speak along
Olalalala j’en peu plus 😂😭😂😂
That intro tho-
darn, I like more rappy songs like from Oli, Niska, Lefa etc etc haha
This method still works with rap songs, I've learnt many of those too.
You just might want to put it on the even slower CZcams speed initially. 😊
La seine and I
I’m doing papaoutai
