That guy helping out is the real deal. The world needs more people like him.

Absolutely. We're all in this boat together, the destination is exactly the same for everyone.
Glad your ok. Hopefully lesson learned

He should return the pos Harley and buy something he can handle
@@jeffstanford4287Yeah - He should definitely get some more experience on some little crotch rockets and mini bikes before he crawls back on a real bike. He just wasn’t ready yet.
I see the problem. You are exceeding the speed limit and your skill level. Glad you were not hurt.
It’s called, IGNORANCE & STUPIDITY.
@@rmcustom9573 Totally agree.Plus lack of having proper skills. And not cleaning the windshield as well played a part in a avoidable crash.
Exactly. He blames the sun and says he didn't see the turn. You can see a few seconds before the crash he thinks about carving the turn but backs out and locks up (slight wobble). With intermediate skill, he would have made that just fine but riding that fast on unfamiliar roads and what looks like a road thru several subdivisions and "blind" driveways, is completely irresponsible, reckless, and inconsiderate. Aint just your life homie, riding like that can put others at risk too.
@@nobody8372 Your driving affects everyone around you.
I agree. Too fast on busy suburban streets plus one needs street experience on a smaller bike.FWIW, I drove a sidecar rig, owned a nice Honda ACE 750 and now putt the sidewalks on a 1.5 Hp motorized bike-John in Texas
Respect to the dude for being humble enough to post this. It’s a little painful, and a little embarrassing, and frustrating as hell, but this is a total first person POV into a bad day. Thanks again man, good real life situation type content.

@EverythingsRegular I'm a retired Motor Man "Motorcycle Officer" here's two Motor Man tequniques and one piece of advice that will save your life when riding. #1) When turning at a speed above 19mph push on the handle bar in the direction you want to go, (some agencies teach 15mph) never try to turn the handlebar above 19mph. #2) Never look at an object you're trying to avoid, always look at the spot you want to go to. (WHEREVER YOUR EYES ARE IS WHERE YOU'RE SUBCONSCIOUSLY STEARING) And the one piece of advice is respect speed (SPEED KILLS) Everybody thinks his or her ability has mastered speed until

20+years,yes lack of respect ,also a lack of awareness will also get you ghost
Did you see how fast that curb just ran up and hit him off that bike?!! Damn curbs are going end up killing someone!!
It's not sped that kills. It's usually the manner in which you stop from it! If it's very suddenly and into a solid immovable object, then that is what usually does it!!!!!
Much like working with high voltage, don’t fear it but respect it

First of all, glad you're well. I've been riding HD's since 1989. Now my son rides with me for 4 years. Never went down. I tribute that to respecting the motorcycle. That's the sweet spot between fear and confidence. I remember gaining this from an Easy Rider magazine from the 80s. 90 something year old dude that had been riding for about 70 years said something that I never forgot. "Always ride to the COMFORT limit, never beyond". I knew you were pushing it from the beginning. I can tell because you wanted to keep pushing it over the curb instead of finding the path of least resistance to get it back on the street. Take your time, be patient, LIVE TO RIDE ANOTHER DAY!!
I do want to take notice to all of the kind people who stopped and offered to help you in any way, and the first man was like a Father helping his son and he took notice to Covid with a mask on.
