Wow, Kat! I have never been to an estate sale where everything's a dollar. That's incredible! And what a great marketing plan by the estate sale organizers! I would have enjoyed that sale very much!
Yes it was awesome for sure! One way to move alot
Hi Kat - Thanks for the content! I went to an estate sale last summer where everything was $5.00 or less. It was actually run by the realtor who sold the house. He was commissioned to empty the contents. My best score there was something tucked back in the kitchen cupboard. A 1960's Pyrex casserole with lid and bamboo cradle - mint condition. I sold it for $125.00, so it put me in the profit right away. I only spent $30.00 at that sale.
That is awesome!
An estate sale where almost everything is a dollar on its first day…amazing!😃
Yes for sure!
So exciting! I’ve never heard of an estate sale so cheap. I would probably end up buying a bunch of unsellable things because-it’s only $1 😂. Still watching, I’m guessing you spent $95.
Lol lol close I spent 80
Wow..great sale..great house..great haul..everything 1.00..Id go out of my mind.
Right?!
Me too. I'd have been grabbing so fast, I'd have gotten dizzy.
I'm at 7:08 and you are giving me a heart attack! SNATCHAND GRAB! Hurry, SNATCH AND GRAB!!!!!!!!! I'm having an anxiety attack for sure and wish I were there. 😂❤
Hahahaha had to be fast 😆 🤣 😂
@@katstreasurehunting you weren't fast enough!!! I'd have been faster! LOL!
You remembered your IKEA bags!!!😊😊😊
Lol lol yes I brought tons 😆 🤣 😂 😹
@@katstreasurehunting Nice!
😆
I HAVE THE SHEETS FOR YOUR PILLOW CASE!!! THE SECOND ONE WITH YOUR LEFT HAND ON IT!! LOVE VINTAGE SHEETS!! THOSE SWEATERS ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! LOVE THE PINK BLANKET TOO!!! GREAT MINDS......
That's awesome!!
I can imagine everything for $1! I'd be lost in there. So tempting to buy everything. You showed great restraint Kat!
Hahaha yes it's hard when so cheap
I just bought an Indian basket with a top at an estate sale of someone I knew who had passed away. We used to live next door to her. It was a nice feeling to have a memento of her. Bought the basket for $20, she had a nice collection, maybe 30 years old. And two rattan place mats, $1 each. They were fairly thick and felt vintage
That's awesome. I imagine this woman was pretty awesome!
Good evening Kat. I'm so jealous of this sale!!!
I've never seen anything like it!
This was a great sale!
Yes and the family was so nice
I guess $100! Mrs Butterworth bottles are good for crafts.Peterborough (sp?) baskets are high quality too
Close!
That was so fun! My brain kinda flips a switch when things are so cheap. I start to get into crafty mode as well as reseller. which can bedangerous for me.😅
Lol lol yes for me too
Me tooooooo😂
Here in KC, $10 sack attack sales are popular.
Oh nice I've not seen those here! I would love that
Wow! That was some estate sale.
Never see those prices..excellent 😊
Yes! Thank you!
I have been to an estate sale where everything was $1 on the last day. I bought so much stuff including Waterford crystal & American Brilliant Glass. I sold 2 things for enough to cover everything I spent that day.
That's awesome!!
I’ve never been to an estate sale so I just joined to get email notices. Thanks for that tip! 4:53 I cannot wait to find an estate sale where everything is a dollar. 22:36 the vintage aprons are ❤
You got this! I hope you find a good one!!!
I had a FREE sale after I had to move my Mother to a smaller house closer to me. People were thankful and it was amazing how quickly it was gone. Unfortunately, I was not an ebayer then and am now, as I did giveaway items that would have sold well now. The upside is I know some of the items did go to people that actually needed them. The clothing my Mother did not want was picked up by a local women's shelter.
That is amazing and yes definitely a way to move things fast and find new homes
Marble stuff in the kitchen is nice, clothing for a dollar like the red and black vest and the other windbreakers and trench coat are good and the closet where you got the quilted housecoat probably is full of fun and the sweatshirts too
Bottle is Mrs Butterworth.
Thank you
$1 an item?! That’s a great plan for an Estate Sale❤️ Loved the linens, and the flashback of my first apartment in the 70’s; the green Mateus wine bottles with candles dripping down🙃
I’m not a reseller, so it would have been all too tempting for me.😳
Always interesting to see what you pick up or pass up for resale 🤔❤️
It was tempting for me too and yes I think a great plan to move as much as they can fast for sure
Thanks for sharing, Kat!
You are so welcome!
I believe the quilted housecoat is a Lounge Life brand. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the info!
@28:25 "Lounge Life" robe....the best kind of life; LOL!
LOL YES!
What fun! Yes, we have gone to estate sales where things were priced at TO-GO FAST prices - not necessarily a $1 per item but in the change level up to $5.
Yes those are great sales!
@ 3:47 Mid Century round green cookie jar was amazing!!!!
I have that vintage planters jar; lol. You missed the brown and white mcm mini coffee percolator in the plastic bag. Those are great! I have a yellow and brown and an orange and brown one; they work great. Yes, all the glass coffee pots are good finds, yet there was an awesome stainless steel mcm coffee pot; looked mint.
Thanks for the tips!
I found an estate sale from the same estate sales. Net where everything was $1. They said it was a resellers dream, no matter what the value of any item it would be $1. So I got up early to be one of the first people there. Took the 2 hour drive to get there and spent about 3 hours inside house picking items. There was a box of silverware I picked and about 6 packs of pillow cases that were new old stock, still in original pack. I got to register and they wanted a dollar for each pillowcase in pack and a dollar for each piece of silverware in box. I told them to keep it and was pretty upset to say the least.
Yeah that would be frustrating
You got lots of great items. That was a really good sale! Thanks for sharing.❤
Thanks for watching!
Great video Kat! Accidentally running into new thrift stores are super fun!!
Yes they are!
This is amazing. I am so jealous!! So many great things.
Thanks so much!
What a great price for all of your items! I love all the vintage linens :) That's where I'm pulled when I go to the sales.
Yes they're so wonderful
Good grab on the sweaters. I remember when we would look for some for my granny, they were soooo hard to find in the stores for her when she was in the nursing home. Such a shame that boat music box was rusted, those are good sellers and that one was really cool.
Yes it really was
Hi! Great buy! Enjoyed shopping with you. Tfs
Thank you so much 😊
The red bird trinket box looked nice that was on the car port .
I think the quilted robe is Leisure Life. I love that robe. It should sell well. Great estate sale and prices were amazing!
Thank you!!
I volunteer to "Bless your heart" every one of these cranky people you have commenting. It was a great sale and video!
HAHAHAH there are a lot of them this time ;-)
The clay pot on the white shelf at 26:30 is an antique Herty turpentine pot from when pine trees were tapped for their sap. Love your videos!
Oh man that's so cool I didn't know
I have a friend who used to put orchids in them and sell them at craft fairs.@@katstreasurehunting
We keep finding them on our farm, usually after Hurricanes or storms where the ponds flood. Then the water recedes and they are left on the bank. It's like a magical herty pot generator lol. If I run the tractor through the garden, pieces churn up. I've been doing it 21 years now and it never ends. They are amazing!
23:45 I have my ear buds on, about to doze off and I hear a little whisper 😇 Great sale, Kat!
Lol lol Dalton
@@katstreasurehunting i mean i figured 😆 cute little bugger
Never been to an estate sale that sells mosr things for a $. The Blue Nun wine bottle brought back memories, my sister and i polished a few of them off in our youth.
That's awesome!
Wow oh wow!
Yeah it was crazy
With the little purses… grab em all. Might be a white whiting and Davis ( the metal squares))
Thanks for the tip
Great prices and a good haul🥰
Thank you!
Loved this ❤❤❤🎉!
Glad you enjoyed 😉
Oh my gosh, what an excellent sale!! Just 6:45 minutes in and had to say - you should have definitely bought that DEMDACO blanket!! 😄
Now I'll know! Thank you
All I know about Demdaco is that they make the Willow Tree figurines. I might have picked up the blanket based on that, but it might be a dud as well…you just never know unless you look it up, I suppose.
That was not Aunt Jemima that was Mrs. Butterworth syrup bottle
Lol watching your video and I'm yelling at the TV "Kat get all the syrup cannisters", they sell 10-12 quickly lol. Then I'm like get the canisters! Lol
Hahahaha
The Log Cabin bottles that are the 1976 with eagles, etc. sell for $10-15 The green wine bottle was a Mateus bottle; in the 70's, we all had one and dripped different colors of candle wax on them to make them even cooler! The divided Tupperware dish is great for storing craft supplies, too. I didn't know Demdaco made fleecy throws--that's who makes the Willow Tree Angel figures. That epergne is Fenton. I have had good luck using a paste of Oxi-Clean and blue detergent on stains--worth a try! Also Awesome, a Dollar Tree spray cleaner, works well.
Thanks so much
Mateus bottle with candles and Blue Nun…staples of my college dorm room, lol.
I loved your video👍👍🙋🏽♀🙋🏽♀🙋🏽♀🙋🏽♀ enjoyed every bit of it! Thanks for sharing 😉😉
I appreciate you watching
Love all your items...nice haul..$1. estate sale Wow
Yes! Thank you!
31:36 Clorox Bleach for Unbleachables will clean anything. I have put it directly on fabrics, purses, and shoes. Most machines you can select a longer soak cycle if the stain is bad.
Alot have holes too unfortunately
Would have totally got the vintage lucite jewelry, feel like its underrated. Probably would have bought all the jewelry, and look at it at home.
We called those vintage do-rags, scarves in the 70’s. Scarves were so popular with braids, and the whole hippie vibe. Not do-rags at all. Man did you score! Btw, that “long line girdle!” Those consistently sell $50-70 for me, stained or not ❤🎉
Ohhhh good to know thank you
That white screen door on the porch!
Yes so cute
The robe looks like Leisure Life? Great sale!! Love all the vintage linens and nightgowns. Also the “granny core” cardigans. My Grandma had a similar looking one in Green. I had guessed $100 but I saw in the comments everything was $80! Dang!!
Lol lol yes!
Fun! Fun! Fun! Estate sales are that! $1 an item works! Fantastic finds too. Love the jazzy purse with palm trees! (I live in 29Palms,CA). That green bottle that you didnt get is from MATEUS wine. It is exportrd from an island called MADERIA. Annexed from Potugal. Very good too! Too bad no label. Curious how much will you be keeping for yourself? Lol...hey, sometimes we have to experience the item. Why not??!!ol...Thanks for sharing. I had a great time! 😉👍♥️
Lol I'm pretty good at selling almost everything 😅 the only thing I collect some of is sand paintings and raku pottery which you don't find much in fl 🙃
What an unusual beautiful atmosphere ❤
Yes it really was a great place
I can’t believe all that was $80! Such a great estate sale, we don’t have sales like that here in NJ, I wish I could find sales like that, Great great hall!
I've never seen one like this before here
Your restraint was admirable!
Thank you!
First time watching. ..I would have loved this sale.❤❤❤
Welcome and yes it was fun for sure!
Fun sale!
Yes it was great
Hi, great video. I learned about you on George the Antique Nomad's channel.
George is a wonderful man! We love him
Sorry…I didn’t see a single thing that I would purchase. 😵💫
Different strokes for different folks! That's what makes the world go round
Love your reply!
😂😂😂
I have never heard of an estate sale for a dollar! I’d love to run across one, since I’m just getting restarted in reselling after 20-year hiatus! I did get three, higher end Christmas sweaters last weekend, 3 for $5! They are just gorgeous. And now that I saw your video on descriptions, I know to use granny core and maybe grand millenial! tY❤
Yay that's awesome Christmas sweaters do great
My guess is that you spent $80 I couldnt keep track I would of been throwing things in that ikea bag as fast as I could like you did for $1.00 you never see a sale like that all the good vintage linens & the Mr peanut jar wow!
Lol lol yes nailed it on the dot! Spent exactly 80
Wow.... I'd buy that for a dollar 😂
Awesome score finding this estate sale 🤙
Right?!
Never saw an estate sale where everything was one dollar, but I guessed about 78.00. Too bad you said you had spent 80, but I was in the midst of typing this note. You had a good day.
Yes for sure! Thank you for watching
The green bottle held Matus Rose’ wine
Thank you!
This was fun
Glad you enjoyed
Hi Kat❤️ Wow you’re killing it these days and I’m drooling over the linens you find. Busy, busy, busy!!! How are you feeling these days? Any relief?
Some with all the lovely menopause stuff lol but we've had a cold we can't kick the tail end of!
Oh Kat, I laughed my head off when I saw the Blue Nun bottle. It was one of the first wines that because popular in the UK in the 1970s but it was a horribly sweet Liebfraumilch that we all thought was the height of sophistication at the time but now considered really naff. Hope it sells well! You should get more as it's empty!
Hahahaha too funny!
The corningware coffe percolator would have been one of my choices!
I'm pretty sure they're recalled so you're not supposed to sell them
That black mask jack o' lantern was definitely worth picking up for $1, even if it looked a little sun faded.
Yeah that's what I was thinking :(
I guessed $75 so I was very close!
Yes you were!
Oxi clean works great on stains
Wow. I have a total of 2 potholders that are 27 years old. I’ve been missing out.
$1.00 per item! That's great! You find very good sales Kat! Hope you're doing well. Debbie T.🤩
Thank you! I'm doing OK
The white and blue corningware perculator would be a score.
I think they were recalled though and I got in trouble for listing one before I'm pretty sure
The Bobs sweet stripe plush in the beginning of the video might have been a pretty good pickup. The girl one is currently listed for $20.
Oh man! I should've went with my gut!
You just never know about obscure items like that…it could go either way! And if you don’t have time to look them up, then maybe it’s better to leave them.
I'm n alabama.my 13 year old grandaughter loves vintage clothes and nightwear
That is awesome!
Kat I think those were log cabin syrup pitchers 😮😮
Oh yes it looks like probably so!
Nice haul
Thanks for watching
I just want to jump in and shop with you!!
It was fun!
I never been to a dollar estate sale my are charging like 40%to 50% which for a reseller it sucks if I can I wait for the last day or not go back
Yeah I have some like that here too they're catering to collectors
Good job hope you sell this market is so saturated overwhelming long tale sales I’m not spending too much anymore on STUFF I’m going to start saving 100.00 bills and if I do buy something I need to buy in low and make 100.00 . Have to buy large items for resale and am running out of room. Try to sell what I have a huge hoard. We bought a 2021 Chevy Silverado truck good deal only 33000 kms now ready to pick up large items lol to make money. 100.00 profit margins no more smalls
Lots of space here 😆 🤣 😂
The black nylon cooking utensils sell well.
Thank you
It is sad when a parent passes away and the kids sell everything. Especially for a $dollor. But you cannot keep everything I know. We had to do the same. But I must say I have never seen it a dollor. This lady had some very special things. I enjoyed shopping along with you and you did get some great things.
I'm pretty sure they kept some stuff but there mother had a very large collection of beautiful things for sure!
That was a Mrs. Butterworths syrup bottle.
$80 wow....great finds
Thank you 😊
I think the syrup bottle is Mrs butterworth, not aunt jemimah
Thank you
Those glass pitchers are quite large for syrup, especially considering their size to be vintage. They look like juice pitchers. We didn't start super sizing food till what...the 90's? I grew up in the 60's and 70's and I never saw a syrup pitcher this large. Hope this helps.
Yeah great thought on it for sure
Green bottle looks like an old Lancers wine bottle
I know I've seen that bottle before and was sure it had held some type of alcoholic beverage, but couldn't remember what. Was that the kind they stuck a candle in and let the wax drip down onto it?
@@maryr7800 that was chianti
Great haul. I love your learning videos and I think this video would have been more instructional with the comps at the end so that we can see if they fit into our business model. Thanks and great job.
Unfortunately adding them in adds a lot of time with editing. I do typically say what I think they'll sell for but looking up comps on each individual piece is important when you find them because sizes colors etc all make a difference
88.00 is my guess. What a fun sale.
So close I did 80!
Green bottle is old Mateus wine bottle
You left a expensive brand of nice robe behind Look up Miss Elaine sold at Macys Dillards Nordstrom Too many knick knacks well used stuff I would buy baskets lamps cutlery crockery for resale and of course vintage furniture.
I sell quite a few miss Elaine I'm familiar with it.
Omg❤️❤️❤️❤️
You didn't get the DEMDACO item????❤🎉🛍✨️
I was going to say 100
Close!
