The wooden thing in the flat box was a boot Jack, you use it to pull off your boots.
Ohhh, thank you!
Good move putting Sweater back
YAY!
Hi Kat, @11.37 there is what looks like a Remy Martin Cognac bottle. Some are made from Baccarat crystal and worth good money. I hope it's still there next time, so you can check! There might be glasses to go with it. They'll have the same monogram as the bottle.
Ohhhh yeah I might go again tomorrow so I'll have to look!
Kat! You missed 16:13 or so....bottom shelf... set of wood coasters in a box PERFECT for resin projects!
That was a boot puller Kat. For folks wearing cowboy boots, they can put the heels of the boot in the curved part and use the thing to pull them off.
Ohhh, thank you!
I think it’s a boot jack, helps take cowboy boots off.
Ohhh, thank you!
The "thing" on the shelf made of wood and having a hinge in the box at 11:03... used to remove cowboy boots which people often cannot take off easily!
Thanks!
I think that Alaskan chopper is for whale blubber….for some reason that comes to mind. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Nooooo. I wanna see the Weimaraner mug!! I've owned 4 precious weims. Such amazing animals 🩷🐾🐾🐾🐾🩶
I'll see if they are there when I go back! Was there a certain color one you saw you liked
I would definitely open the towels up to make sure I wasn’t throwing money away (stains, pulls etc) but that’s just me 😊
Kat! You won’t believe it. I found 2 more Glassbaby’s today. That makes 4 of them in just 1 month. Paid only $3 for both. What are the odds?
Wow. Those things are worth $$$$
What area are you in west coast?
YAY that is amaazing!!!
@@katstreasurehunting Found the 2nd pair yesterday at another thrift store less than 2 miles away from the first. Paid $3 for the pair yesterday. That makes 4 Glassybaby pieces in just 1 month, under $10 total. The odds of this happening are over 260 trillion to 1.
So jelly!!!
I'm in Kansas and we do not see seashells very often
Thanx for Taking Us Along 🌞✌👍
Our pleasure!
Awesome shopping trip! Also, that was a boot remover.
Good to know!
Hey Kat. There was a red hawaiian shirt that looks like the one Tom Selleck wore often in Magnum PI. Look it up and see if that is the one if you go back. My husband is a Tom Selleck fan and has that shirt in his collection.
I'll see if it's still there for sure
❤ shopping with U ...
Yay happy to hear
I am fortunate that what I resell is donated as I resell to raise funds for animal rescue instead of trying to do auctions etc, I just put it out there and people give me great stuff.
I often have the urge to go thrifting after a video but when I do I start looking through the bags of donations of clothing which is actually my favorite thing to resell, but recently because of you, I have done research thinking forward and found a couple of influencer fashion predictions and one of them is from the 90's the 2 piece "leisure suit" that if anyone is my age (60ish) we used to call over 50 or retirement home fashio and then what shocked me next...was fanny packs for men are a trend again YIKES.
Now a fanny pack is a belt bag and the velour suits are travel wear...people just go to your grandmothers house cause her stuff is trending like mad right now or if your my age what I wore in the 80's and 90's to the office is in style, really when the shoulder pads came back I almost cried I laughed so hard.
The 2 piece velour suit and the fanny pack, fashion that should be buried not revived LOL.
Sounds like some amazing items
There was a wonderful interchangeable necklace set in that jewelry case ? Joan Rivers. Right beside tjat boot puller
I'll see if it's still there I don't look a ton at stuff in the cases as most are priced pretty high
It makes my day to go shopping with you! 😘
Thank you as always ~ Amy 😍
I'm so glad!
Very nice video. lets go thrifting together one day.
Do you come up this way? If so let me know!
Dalton is so adorable.
A boot jack
Thank you!
That was a fun/relaxing shopping trip! Lots of good buys! Thanks Kat!😊
Appreciate you watchin
Thanks Kat!
You are so welcome!
Wooden boot puller. You put your boot heal in the U and pull your foot out of boot.
Ohhh, thank you!
That wooden thing in the box is a boot jack
Ohhh, thank you!
Hi Kat. You’re in my neck of the woods. I find some pretty good stuff every time I go there. Recently I found a pair of Frye boots priced at $10 and a pair of knee high suede uggs for $10 but it was 1/2 off day so I got both for $10 and listed them both for a potential profit of almost $200 🤑 thanks for all your great videos.
Yeah they have good shoes some time for sure!
I know women's brands pretty well, and never heard of that one.
❤ nice store!!
It really is!
You passed up an ivory-colored satin blanket on a hanger that I would have looked at.
I'll look and see if it's still there I might go again tomorrow!
Love your new channel. I’m trying to learn about buying and reselling. I already have quite the inventory. Cause I kept a lot of my moms things. But I could kick myself for donating most of her clothes. I didn’t realize they were worth something.🤦♀️
You can do it! We all learn as we go!
I just found you again! I loved your jewelry videos. Im to old to colect a lot
❤
Glad you like them!
boot jack
Ohhh, thank you!
Hi Kat!!!❤️ That thrift store looks amazing. My fav place raised the prices and picking goodies overall was dull for me for a few months. Recently a new store opened benefiting breast cancer and wow what a honey pot 2 miles away. Love when that happens. My son is renting a house in Delaware and the basement is full of abandoned boxes of treasures we’re gonna go through this weekend. I love hoarders!!!
Ohhh nice glad you got a new one!
I've picked up single salt shakers because they were just too cute and put powdered sugar, cinnamon and grated cheese in the title.
Ohhhh great idea
The brown thing you picked up that was in the box helps one take off their boots.
Ohhh, thank you!
Lots of nice finds. My favorite were the Turkish made ceramic plates!
Mine too!
Nice video! I think that most people don’t get the fees comment but eBay charges fees on the total sale that’s item, shipping and even sales tax are hit with high sales fees. Thank the Lord in heaven for google lens lol it sure takes the guesswork out of values. Thanks for another great video
Yeah it all adds up for sure
Great job 👍
Thanks 👍
Love watching these!!!
YAY happy to hear it!
Great thrift
Thank you!
Always so interesting and educational with you
Yay glad you think so
We have quail in our backyard here in New Mexico. They crack me up! Have you seen the guy on TikTok and CZcams who dresses his quail, Finn, in cute hats?!
LOL yes they're fun for sure, I haven't seen him!
Thanks for the info! 👍
Appreciate you watching
Nice haul
Thank you!
Kat, I just love what you do. How can I get into one of your classes. Just watched you, Rod, Kitchy Cat and Thrifts. Just wonderful.
I have some pre recorded classes available and also my live membership on the nurse flipper channel. My classes can be found at www.thenurseflipper.bigcartel.com :D
@Kats Treasure Hunting Thanks so much Kat. You are truly an inspiration.
Oxiclean is an amazing stain remover
Thanks for the tip!
I'm glad to see you found so many things. I live near this store. I was just thinking that I don't have much luck down in this county and here you have done well. Thanks for opening my eyes to the potential. I feel it's common to not appreciate your local stores that you go to often. I was just thinking I should head to Levy county....
Suwannee thrift is good that's the only one I've found worth going to. Hospice prices at eBay prices. The antique mall in Williston is good sometimes too
I really love your thrifting videos. I am excited because I sold 3 items in the last few days on ebay! Yeah. Happy thrifting
That is awesome!
Great haul🥰
Thank you! 🤗
That thing was for taking your boots off.
Ohhh, thank you!
A boot puller
Ohhh, thank you!
Let’s goooo!!!😀
YES!
NY METS HAT
Thank you!
In my local thrift, all pillowcases are .25 cents each. Just got two gingham Martha Stewart ones that comped at $20 pair. But I might keep them.
Ohhhh nice, yeah I keep some nice linens for myself too LOL
I had to re subscribe again. That's twice. I notice in other channels too.
Ugh that's frustrating!
boot scraper
That Dark Blue pottery pitcher. I was hoping u got. I wanted to buy that.
I didn't see it when I went back!
At 11:00 Boot Jack.
Ohhh, thank you!
I would be more afraid of shipping that cute quail egg than some of the bigger glass items.
Lol lol yes it will be scary for sure
Boot Jack
for pulling off cowboy boots.
Woohoo! I made it!
YAY
Not much for seashells in WI
I am so used to seeing I feel like they would be everywhere LOL
That alaska chopper is called an ulu
Thank you so much!
The sea shells are in my opinion A Florida thing.
I live in Florida, near the cost too and rarely see sea shells things😅. When i lived in North Carolina i seen shells everywhere 🤣
Ending my evening with you. 😊
Ohhh, thank you!
Fun trip, as always! If you want to get into women's fashion, It might be worth getting a copy of a higher end fashion magazine (Vogues, Harper's Bazaar, Women's Wear Daily) either new or used so you can see the brands advertised and get familiar with the names. Also, going into mid to high range department stores can get you familiar with the brand names that are "in house."
Great tips thank you!
Hello Kat
Hello!
I don't do clothes and shoes
A lot of times in my area that's all I can find
😉👍❤
😊🥰
What store are you? Do you sell vintage items? I don't to Starbuck or Target bc that support our troops, but my Husband did 26 yrs. in the Marine Corps. I can't support them.
I'm not sure what you're asking? My store is on eBay The Nurse Flipper I sell vintage to new stuff
What dates do Starbucks cup collectors like to look for?
It's more the cups than the years in my experience I always look them up, you never know which are big money
