- Hayfield maintenance continues as we roll our field to push down rocks. Rolling our hayfeild smoothes our field out, making a smoother ride for equipment and operators.

Great Video, Nice to see the 8030 working. Hopefully the Alternator was an easy fix. Looks like it’s about time for a foam kit in the cab. Never seen an 8000 series with a loader in Michigan. Good luck, have a safe season.
Alternator was a simple repair thankfully. Yea, I need to do a cab kit, that would make it much nicer inside for sure. It is great having the loader and terrible at the same time. Mainly maintenance areas is what makes it terrible but it is super handy for moving and stacking bales etc. Stick around to see the 7000 and 8030 make hay together this season when it stops raining for more than a day.
That field is so pretty it makes me wish I was a cow
Why not use a rock picker instead of rolling the field?
This is South Central Missouri you'll never get all the rocks. They multiply rapidly. Rumor has it every time you pick one Rock 10 more appear😂
this pea brain of mine must have missed something. You said that it will take 2 or 3 years to show a profit on that field. Are you saying that your selling hay and not using it all for your own consumpstion?
Correct. We make more than enough to feed our livestock and sell the extra to offset costs of equipment, fuel, and maintenance.
