I finally give a public server a try, maybe team up with a few peeps, build a community and work together. I spawn in and start gathering, not 5 mins. goes by and I get whacked from behind, I thought... 1) A Zombie? ... 2) Cactus? ... but no, it was another player pissed off I was in his biome or on his map. I gave him the gamers universal Jump to indicate I was a friendly but he whipped out his bow and he tried (very badly) to shoot me. I have a mic, he didn't respond... I just wasn't leveled enough to have a chance to fight back... Anyway, I want to give it another try but I need to find some decent folks, I get that players raid, that's fine but The Negans of the game, I can deal with when I'm leveled enough.

This video is definitely fake, at 3:46 - 3:47 there is a cut transition. The zombie sounds is proof to that cut. Also you have a house symbol on the compass for that base, which means that your bedroll is somewhere there as well.
Symphony Dude video recording on PS4 is bad so he'd prob had to start a new one and it is just smart to put a bed near a base you are gonna raid so you can come back and get your stuff and maybe kill him.

They really need to add dedicated servers because there is really no point at all in playing a new pvp server just to then leave and start over again and again and again. It gets really boring witch is why most people you see in a server is probably like 5 max and not 32 or some shit like that.

You've obviously never played any survival/open world pvp game before. You destroy beds/spawn points so they don't keep respawning while you're inside looting.... but this guy is absolute trash at the game, both of them are.
