- The AMG GLE 53 is one of the many performance vehicles from Mercedes. On the outside you will find an AMG specific front fascia grill, wheels and exhaust. On the interior you will be welcomed to a sea of carbon fiber, sport seats and an F1 inspired a steering wheel. Under the hood is a 3.0L turbocharged straight-6 producing 429HP & mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2023 Mercedes AMG GLE 53 a performance SUV worth the price?

Mercedes for years now has blown the doors off of almost every other mfr with their interiors. They're a work of art, especially with their ambient lighting. At least, when you sit in this car it's going to look like you spent $100,000 on it. So many other vehicles, especially American (including Cadillac) cannot compare with Mercedes. Every person should sit in their car they're about to buy and spend money almost all of us don't have and ask yourself, 'is the interior of this car look like the money I'm spending?' I would bet the majority of people would say, "nope" and walk right out of Chevy, Ford, Cadillac, etc.

Keep doing what you do Team Raiti, greatly appreciate your uploads since to me, they're quite therapeutic.
I was choosing between this and 911, Mercedes dealer told me my back would hurt in Porsche and wife also complained that I need 4 seats, so I opted for Mercedes. To bring it in Cyprus I had to pay almost double price unfortunately, but I am happy with the car so far, second year of driving it, it’s a nice compromise between sport and business presentation, when I feel young and cocky I turn on s+ and the exhaust bangs and shoots really loud so everyone on the street can hear it and ladies love it. There’s really nothing particularly bad about the car, it’s a perfect choice to drive smoothly and show off a little bit. PS if somebody asks you why you didn’t take 63, tell them that you forgot to ask for their advice when buying the car 😂😂😂

Omg !!!!! You made me nervous on the last few minutes! I had a 2016 GLE450 AMG. Now we just took out a 2022 GLE 53 AMG. It’s been raining so much lately, I haven’t really had the chance to do some of what you did with it… Thanks for this full & comprehensive video!!!!!

So I bought this car in 2021 it is a 2022 and I just love the car it has a couple of weird ticks in it that makes it unique. I paid $104,333 for my car they were certain things I could not get because of covid and the lack of microchips but other than that I love my car it is black with red brake calipers it's got the black-and-white Napa leather and it has the illuminated symbol in the front is one of the things that makes people love my car the most and when I tell you You they love my car they love my car I can go nowhere without people asking questions about where did I get this car and how much does it cost the car is more popular than me

Just bought the 2023 gle 53 coupe black with red interior. Fully loaded out the door $125,000. This car is insanely fast. Every thing from the wheel bolts to the torque was very well thought about .

But I love the fact that you pronounce the coupe With an accent over the EI just love that
my dad has a gle43 AMG coupe and its super nice but you gotta be careful of those extra wide tires in the winter. It handles very weird and wants to slide constantly when theres snow and ice on the road.
Idk why people are hating on the Coupé designs of modern SUVs. Not only does it look so SEXY, but it just feels much faster than the regular box looking SUVs. I love my Cayenne Coupé, but Mercedes did a great job with this beautiful machine!

I love the "fake vents"! To me, they aren't fake vents as you say. They are a design feature. It would look utterly ridiculous if it were smooth. There's one car you showed a while back that had the area smoothed out, and it definitely looked stupid. The textured design just flat out looks better. And it's obviously not just me if practically every vehicle has that textured design feature.

@Thee Mokotarish Because only 63s get the real vents. If you make real vents on 53 then the front face of 53 and 63s are entirely the same.
And to be honest the 53 don't really need that vents, they're not 63 after all.
I agree with Jeff, I actually love the design of it and I feel it makes it look awesome.

It should have ventilated and massage seats, but I think those are optional. Also, no climate control in the rear, I believe that's an option. Also, hot/cold cup holders in the front is an option.

@@meeh6924 They originally told me about 3-5 months. I actually place my order last week but they contacted back and told me there is a holt on production for the 2023 models right now so I may be getting a 2024 which has the macchiato beige/ black interior so it works out for me. I think they are getting ready to roll out the 2024s

Love your reviews. So detailed. Please add some details on diff sound system options in your reviews. That’s the only thing missing in other wise super detailed review. I thought AMG gle side step comes standard? First car I am seeing without it. May be it’s standard in Suv version? Also, do you feel that acoustic comfort package is worth it for keeping rouse noise out?
It’s not standard on either. We have both and my husbands we bought off the lot and we added the running boards. I just ordered my third one of these and it is an upgrade.

Minor changes from my 2020 model, but mine came with heads up display and ventilated seats. My only complaint is that the ride is very stiff even in comfort mode. You’ll feel every single bump. Other than that it’s beautiful and fun car. They drastically increased the price though.

I am confused same specs but SuV is 5.7 0-6 and coupe is 4.7? Or I got this wrong? We placed the emerald green suv order just recently with the 3rd row option. Still waiting for Mercedes confirmation. There was a hold on for over a month but Mercedes Manhattan was just able to take the order with $1000 down. 6 months wait on it. 89k as I optioned it. Didn’t take the leather seats and went for MBtex.
Buying this car was one of the best decisions I’ve made this werk

You CAN get vented seats and head up display!!!!!! That one was just not ordered with it!!! I test drove one that had both!!!!

I noticed you didn’t give the top speed. I have heard contradictory info , car mags claiming only 111 while dealers and people who track them say 155 governor. Do you know for sure?
9:33: cooled seats are optional on this car but that is inexcusable for a car with this price tag. It also should have them in the second row. You can get that in the new Lexus RX for half the price. Great video btw, keep up the great content
You people really need to wake up. Ones who purchase a Mercedes understands that there is no such thing as a freebie, or a thrown in item. If you want it, pay for that option, if not, don't expect something for nothing, and label it as inexcusable.

This coupe body style looks so much sleeker and sportier than the boxy SUV. It really caught my eye on the road. I think it looks great.
The boxy style looks like most other SUV's on the road. Nice enough, but overwhelmingly ordinary.

It is not always all about looks but in many cases functionality and the "box" provides more interior room.

Great review Joe this SUV definitely stands out like G 63 majority of suvs today look somewhat similar in body lines and AMG 53 is aggressive unique overall a very sporty elegant beast of a MB

$106k is absurd. My 2015 SQ5 has same 0-60 and quarter mile at a quarter of the price used. Not paying $80k more for a big screen.

99% of buyers don't care about 0-60 or quater mile times. 100% don't care what you care about when buying their cars either. My wife has one and its leaps and bounds above what your SQ5 can offer. Price is subjective too. $106k for a car might not be a lot for some people. For most others it is.
