I’m totally dumbfounded by the result that FUKO didn’t get chosen by the producers ! She was ready to debut and was the perfect leader for the group ! 😭
i sobbed so hard for fuko but then after seeing the final vote results she had been in 8th place meaning that even if the group had been fully chosen by votes she wouldn’t have made it

To be honest, they already had Jiyoon and Jungeun in the group, a 3rd main vocal wouldn't even make sense. I'd rather have Fuko debut in a groupe built around her somewhere else, when she can be the main vocal. Plus she showed that she's better when a group is made around her (After like, Bad boy) than when she's a background member (Final love song, Fake it)
fuko is not in my pick list but the show has been using her alot for content and now not debuting her is such a crime. Jungeun is in number 1 where she deservely belong. congrats ladies!

Well it seemed like they were okey with Fuko, but saw other trainees were more popular.
To put it the other way around, Fuko lost the vote even though she was caught so many times on camera
I think the reason why fuko was not picked by the producers is that she does not fit the direction of the concept that the company wants to go with IZNA. By looking at the visuals and auras of the chosen members, I think they all can pull off some kind of girl crush concept well (kinda related to trendy and swag modern concepts) in which obviously fuko lacks of(Her idol image is cute and bubbly, she gives off 2nd gen vibe). Although the concept is still not officially announced, this could be the main reason. Cuz the same things happened in the past Mnet shows.

The show is just being favoritism. Mai did improve but her over Fuko who is a strong lead vocalist and leader material is just straight up cruel.

@@sarahjyun2044 so you're saying Fuko isn't pretty? If they're only going for someone pretty, they'll definitely have Fuko in the line up. Yk, it's not entirely about being pretty but being able to fulfill the gaps/lack in some areas with the lineup. Fuko is an amazing vocalist but they already have Jungeun and Jiyoon (+Sarang), Fuko is also a great dancer but let's be honest, all of the members in the debut line up are also great dancers. They (the judges) need to pick someone that will add more color, uniqueness, and impact to the group and I think that's why they chose Mai and Saebi over Fuko. Mai is not the best dancer nor the have the best vocal skills but she definitely have a kick, she brings an impact whenever she's on screen. And Saebi on the other hand has this aura and vibes on stage that makes the viewers get immersed to the performance, it's like elegant, magical, with all the butterflies flying around her. (I don't know how to describe it well, English is not my first language. But she has that vibe.)
Let's just root for Fuko, she's an amazing and a very talented person, she'll definitely have her debut.
When they said another person would debut, I was so certain it would be Fuko. But turned out it was Saebi instead. I feel Mai and Saebi are very similiar and only one of them should have debuted, and Fuko could have taken one of their place.

Everyone is sad that Fuko didn't debut, but I have to be honest... in my opinion she did not match the rest of the girls. She is really talented but, i think better in another group than izna. Especially Mai, but also Saebi, were the better picks. I think this is the perfect line-up.

My hot take: the reason Fuko and Yuju didn't get picked
1) Fuko, in my opinion, isn't that versatile, she suits girly and elegant concepts much more. In part 2 she didn't have the same impact as she did in part 1. She almost remained pretty much the same without showcasing anything new or redeeming herself. I won't say she's bad, but given the line up, everyone who was picked either showed extreme improvement in part 2 (Mai and Koko) or was standing out throughout show
2) Yuju: honestly, i never understood her hype, she has decent vocals and rap, but her rap style doesn't stand out next to Koko in my opinion. Anyway, she often forgot lyrics of songs (Baggy jeans and, probably LSG, or she was just awfully quiet, which isn't a good way to handle the situation) and I don't really remember her ever standing out much. She was good, sure, but the only time she was super noticable and impactful is probably IWALY. Her facial expressions are nothing unpredictable. She's like a jack of all trades and ace of none.
The reason Mai debuted:
1) fast and steady improvement
2) unique vocal tone
3) hardworking and good at implementing criticism and feedback
4) very good expressions
5) showed improvement in every performance in part 2. Apart from Money, (and i think it's because of low screentime) she was never really unnoticeable
6) the Fake it performance is literally her key to debut
Edit: impact and stage presence is extremely important in the kpop stage performance dynamics and Mai and Saebi are both perfect for it. They also adapt well to different kind of concepts.
Edit 2: none of the girls that debuted are untalented so i honestly don't understand the spite. Why are you relying on PD for your picks? They will pick those who stand out to them. Just cause other contestants' improvement is invisible to you because they're not your pick doesn't mean everyone else will just ignore it. Vote harder for your faves in survival shows instead of being spiteful about those who debuted. Also this is just my opinion, it's not a fact perhaps but I'm not hating on any of the girls. If you can't be respectful go cry elsewhere

agree for Fuko to a certain extent. i wonder had she continued and/or was given the chance to continue showing other aspect like rap for the finale, will it ever change the pds’ choice? also, what if they had more the power to choose their unit and songs for part 2? im curious how would the situations change for fuko…
@@EKCristobal i think it's more about how much they could adapt. For me, although Yuju did different concepts and she did fit in but didn't stand out. Whereas Fuko couldn't really adapt as much. The final test was definitely to test who can work in any type of concept. Besides, her votes are too low so welp
wow you said it well, her part1 era was so great but gradually i found others are more "star" impact than her . fuko's growth is amazing compared to her gp999 era but too bad part 2 i feel like during performance her presence feels like she's just there and that's it. Yuju definitely gained so much attention since du-du-du performance like i fell for her right away but during the show i notice she's not all that and impress how many are holding on her tight. i disliked mai at first but she gain my support in last two episodes so kudos for her
In my opinion, They rather choose Mai and Saebi than Fuko bcs there is 2 stronger Main vocal candidate that Will sing so much line distribution, Fuko is great vocalist too thats why they choose more performance + dancer + visual and making them become a sub vocalist. Fuko still deserved to debut, i waiting her for debut. Yuju and Gyuri Too❤

Since everyone here is giving your opinion let me give mine too.. The reason Fuko was not PD pick was because
1.) she doesn't bring anything new to the table... Yeah she is one of the best singer in the show but two of the three main vocalist was already in the line up.. we can't have three main vocalist fighting for the lines. That position is already filled. Aside from vocal i dont think she can fit in any other category as a main nor lead..
2.) She is not versatile. I agree with prod. 24 criticism on Fuko. She doesnt make a mistake in her performance but those performance are boring. You may argue saying she didnt get a choice in selecting songs, but others didnt get that privilege too. Yet they still adapted. Even Gyuri adapted concept better than Fuko. She gives a flawless yet forgettable performance. Even in law, like if you were her fan already you would definitely see her but ask any first timer m sure even they never saw her there.
3) She just doesn't stand out compared to her peers. Perfection is boring. She was the center and main vocal in lot of part 2 performance.. she had a lot of chance to stand out with her massive lines but unfortunately she did not. She is skilled i agree, a lot more talented than others i agree but she is kinda bland..if she didn't have the high notes on itnw a new person watching the performance would never notice her.
4.) She doesn't fit blacklabel as harsh as it may sound.
I in no way hate Fuko. I thought she would debut with votes. But she did not and you fans are solely responsible for that not the producers. I wouldn't have minded if she debuted i would infact be happy for her as i would be for anybody else..you all need to stop victimizing one girl to bring down other girls esp Sarang and Mai.

So a little information to your argument the band will neither be managed by its producers nor produced by The Black Label but Wake One. So your 4th argument is invalid.
I think a lot of butthurt commenters didn't understand the voting system. Fans voted the top 7 in which the producer's choice 6 and 7 place they also agreed Mai and Saebi is who they want. It means the person you mentioned 1. Did not attract the professional producer's and 2. Did not get the fans votes. So it means your comment is wrong. Don't spread negatively. At the end of the day your bias did not attract thr audiences and producers because BASED ON VOTES (Mai was next then Saebi) your bias was last placed in votes

My top 7 actually is Fuko or Koko. But Fuko did'nt make it.
I already guess that Mai or Sarang will be the producers pick because of the visuals. But Sarang already made it to top 5 so I'm so happy that Mai is the producers pick. I also feel sad for Fuko. They are all talented. But we have to respect the producers because they have their standard for an Idol as Taeyang said.

I really happy with the lineup. Honestly i would be happy with any combination bcs i thought the top 10 here are really good. Each of them have their own strength and weakness that make them unique individual.
Mai is my first pick and fuko is my second. I really hope they debuting together, but i know people won't let more than 2 Japanese in 6 members gg (now 7 bcs mnet love drama). When koko was 8th, honestly i was praying fuko and mai get to the lineup together.
But the results are clear.
I hope fuko could pull yooyeon card. Yooyeon is the pretty popular contestants on my teenage girl, she didn't debut and place 8th like fuko. But she's manage to debut in TripleS and currently doing so well with her idol career.
Hope another company would scout fuko, (a better company than wakeone) and she's can start her career there.
Let's be honest, for me the doors to Fuko debut were closed with the change they made in Fake It, that sealed her fate. I was surprised by Mai but after I got over my sadness for Fuko I think I understand why she and not Fuko, Mai showed her ability to adapt, leadership, positivity, visual and team mentality in Rain on Me along with the fact that she doesn't care about the part she gets and does the best she can with what there is, these are factors that I'm sure are factors that the producers used to choose her. I'm totally against her choice because they basically told her she's not the best and that there are things to work on but she's very pretty. Why in an enigmatic choice are you going to say something that's 100% sure to cause problems? Anyway, the other members earned their place and from very early on in the program it was obvious that the top 5 was going to be like it was. There's nothing left to say or anything that can be changed, let's support with everything the new group that has been born, Izna.

My lineup was 1. Jeemin 2. Mai 3. Fuko 4. Saebi 5. Jiyoon 6. Koko 7. Jungeun so I'm really happy with how it turned out! Also devastated for Fuko but it was always unrealistic that there'd be 3 japanese members, and she was going against Jungeun as the all rounder and against Jiyoon and Jungeun as the main vocalist too, and while she can do any concept, I suspect she didn't fit what's intended for Izna as well as Mai and Koko (who also look incredibly cohesive together and with the other members). I really hope she debuts soon in another group, something focused around her - Jeemin didn't debut through RUN but ended up in a group focused on her not long after (and let's be real, she's better off with Teddy's production than she'd be in cute concept Illit), same with K after Iland1. Funa is going to debut soon as well. Jiwoo is also still training after RUN despite being called "too old" then by knetz. There's still hope for Fuko! The best we can do is to make as much noise for her as we did for Jeemin so that another company can pick her up for a debut libeup. Just don't give up!

well i would choose mai over fuko too, i mean singing department is already covered by many members. mai has more impactful presence in my opinion, it's harsh but as fuko was my fav initially, i found her not as outstanding as i thought.
@@viviantj9311 okay tell me about the vocal department? there are no good lead vocal candidates outside of sarang considering jungeun and jiyoon will be main vocalists + i never got how mai was called the "impact princess" when I found her expressions and presence bland plus her vocals have a subtle rasp that is not that pleasant
@@teols5321 but she did making impact in last two episodes. as i was mai slander cuz i found her useless at first but her part in fake it blew me away the most along with jungeun. jungeun - jeemin - jiyoon - sarang would be in charge in vocal, koko - saebi and mai are even improving like seriously the show is over.

Everyone agrees Fuko should have debuted. It's so saddening. She was my po2 since episode 1 and her and jiyoon was my fav duo.

To be brutally honest, I thought Fuko would be there instead of Sarang. Both of their image kinda clashed! And same with Jeemin and Saebi. I knew Mai will debut since her face card is literally very very strong plus her perseverance and hardwork is definitely visible. And I knew they would pull a Top7 card. My guess were: Jeemin, Jiyoon, Jungeun, Fuko, Koko, Yuju and Mai.
But nonetheless I love the line up now as well❤️ will definitely support them.

fuko wuldve been a better choice, (NO HATE TO SAEBI I WUV HER) cuz now they dont have an ideal leader. jungeun could be one, but shes too young, second youngest to be exact. other leader contestants for me are:

(pros) great w emotional support and compliments her members, also helps them practice especially with dance
(cons) there wud be lack in communication and lacks in leadership skills overall

(pros) age-wise shes a good leader, an unnie they could lead on, she also communicates with members (referring to ITNW performance)
(cons) leadership style is too passive, doesnt have that authority and control over members and wants to please everyone
jiyoon
(pros) she improved so much as a leader (i am the best performance), helps the members when they struggle and she also goes over the little details of the performance
(cons) doesnt handle her frustrations well, i mean it is understandable but u have to suck it up if ure leader cuz it would affect the whole team

I thought screentime really plays an important part of whose gonna debut but Kim Sumin failed debut in UNIS really changed my perception but i forgot this is MNET. Fuko, as you can see in part 2 lose screentime.The moment Koko performed really well and becomes popular, the window is closed for Fuko. I think MNET doesnt like Jungeun but she was voted in and for me i think she and Fuko would be enough vocally but we have Jiyoon. I still trust Fuko vocally more than the two sjnce she was always stable and her voice can fit any song.Its heartbreaking to see Fuko not getting picked despite having the 7th pick. I would prefer her over Saebi since she would stabilize the vocal in the group.

They all had to sign to Wakeone to participate, its a group with a normal 7 year contract so no agency would let their active trainess participate

Jeemin is good, but many people voted for jungeun because she was always ranked down by the producers eventhough she has the talents. People including me start to sympathize with jungeun and the only way to give justice and bring her to the debut group is voting together (who would've thought many also share the same sentiments) and thats how she ranked 1st. Its unjust to rank her down and thats when they all gather together to vote for her, she has tons of supporters actually especially when we realized that some knetz dont really like her
Fuko deserve to debut but look for the concept. All of them more to "Aespa" and "Blackpink" concept. That's what happen when Jeemin didnt debut in ILLIT. She doesnt fit in cute songs.
Tbh FUKO is 100% better than Mai . Fuko was the best contestant in i-land2 and she has more training experience than mai Fuko is soo talented don’t get me wrong mai is talented but not as Fuko tbh I think they chose mai cause of her visual to attract fans especially males (no hate) but that’s what will happen she won’t be noticed in (IZNA) she was barley noticed in i-land2 u think she’ll be noticed in izna she will be but rarely so that’s my opinion Ty

Than you should’ve voted hard cause according to votes sarang is in 5th position and mai was supposed to be 7th position whereas Fuko was 8th and yuju 9th. So everything is actually fair here
