Inting is the game style of Baus. He is inting but also keeps them busy all the time. If you ignore baus you will easily win the fight with extra kills and golds in your pocket but the next second you will see a Baus in your base destroying nexus.

So you could wait for the second enemy wave to show up, start a dive get to like 10% health, hit R, and tiamat+lifesteal would heal you to full. Tiamat stacking was also abused to nuke the entire enemy team in a team fight. Every time your ult hit a target, the rest of the targets got nuked to a quarter health, even if it was a minion your ult hit. They decided that it wasn't good to have all that on one ability, so they split the un-targetable part (now riposte), with the healing (now ult), to make sure that she actually had to dive, to dive. So yeah, it was stupid broken, but the reason it was stupid broken was because it was too good at abusing items. Of course it didn't really help in keeping her from being broken after the rework, but at least she could theoretically be balanced. Not that they've done a good job on it.
