Tbh the champ isn’t as confusing/hard to pickup as people might first think. At his core, what makes him most difficult is playing an ADC with no mobility in his kit in s14. That’s the hard part.

When you dont know anything about him it feels like that but the champ plays itself once you learn it, trust.
And its so so worth it. So much fun

He really isn't. Spend 1 hour of really trying to understand him and you'll get it already.
@@shayrow9480 its not the kit that is hard. It's the way he makes marksman fundamentals so much harder just because it's hard to enable his damage output
I’m in silver and I love playing adc. I played a lot of sivir and zeri (which is already complicated for me to play). Of course my skill level is not high enough to play aphelios or even try to do it, but I really like the champion. When will I be able to start playing him? (Speaking of rank)
You should play whatever you enjoy the most :) You might see faster elo results with mechanically simple ADCs like MF or Ashe, but if you don't enjoy playing them then there's no point I think.
People just recommend simple champs for lower elos because then you can focus on the basics, e.g. last hitting, checking the map, macro decisions etc.
Right now Aphelios is in a pretty decent spot, so I recommend trying him! Games in lower elos tend to last longer, and since Aphelios scales incredibly well that's exactly what you want. Good luck!
Tank you Niklas, I just played my first aphelios game and (I have no idea how) I got an A. Also it seems an extremely fun champion and it’s probably not as difficult as I thought. Without your comment, I probably wouldn’t even have started to play him ever, so tank you very much.
Play him in any elo you want. It'll take a while to learn his mechanics but once you do it's not any harder to climb than on Zeri or Sivir or even something like Ashe.
You can play him whenever you are comfortable enough on adc to have to sweat much harder than enemy adc to do the same damage lol.

Lethality is most valuable early because everyone has low resists, i pref w then e but to each their own

Yeah, just perma farm until u have 2.5 items and choose your fights wisely, try to not die early and do short trades early, that's it
Also use infernum ult instead of any other ult on teamfights
