I don't know about the worst champ in the game, but out of ADCs? You could probably argue that.
He's purposely made weak early game, because of his '225 spike'. Even though his 225 spike has been nerfed pretty heavily at this point. Also he's an AD caster that's forced into building crit, which crit items aren't really made with AD casters in mind.
I wish Smolder either lost the Crit ratios and had his current ratios adjusted to compensate or just straight up be an AP champ. Smolder LOVES the AP items, they go so well on a champ like him.
He's basically an AD Veigar.
you should try trinity into sojin. Smolder got some mana tweaks a few patches ago, and it's not that important now. Ive played a few games going with presence of mind and it's enough. If you aren't sure you can take manaflow or biscuits as extra insurance. But really, presence of mind is enough now, so you can skip ER and get double hp double cdr item which is great and let's you have great 1 item, 2 item and 3 item (with RPC) powerspikes.
I also go tp and dorans ring W start 2-3 points then Q upgrade, it feels nice with Smolder and his otherwise terrible laning phase.

@@PPhoen1x it's not as clear cut as with other champs. You can totally go comet to win lane harder, fleet footwork to sustain or ptd if you have tanks in front because you will be able to auto q auto much more often

Why dont People build smolder like ezreal item wise
he is weaker so building manamune and delaying your spike doesn't look viable (also harder to use autos that benefit from manamune a lot with ez passive). also smolder is less of a spellcaster than ez with higher cooldowns overall and his Q being worse than Ezreal Q as you have to stack with it and the bounce on it later doesn't benefit from sheen.
Would just play ez at that point

When i said Smoldy were in worst situation, i was obliterated with insults and people saying i was wrong, but look at him now, usable only in few situational games, and you have to be OTP to make him useful

Smolder doesn't fricking need such buffs, he need to be strong IN LATE
If you reach 400 stacks and then you are still not enough, this mean your champion is balanced wrongly.
there is early game ADC that are more useful in late than him...
5 damage more on the Q is mostly to help him farming, it won't changed what Smolder is
Out of this, Smolder build still suck, people keep try new builds because they notice that critical build doesn't fit his identity.
Riot, balance him around execute, o totally rework him; is the only way
before you say “worst champ” just remember aphelios exists
bro, aphelios is a good champion there are just people who don’t know how to play him
Give Aphelios some base move speed and he will be low key broken with incoming buffs next patch.

@@haoyun_ just compare him when he was a 1v9 machine and now.. ong cant carry for shit with 0 mob 0 as 0 ms 0 dmg and one kf the lowest max hp in the game, absolutely joke of a champ.. adding to all that he is one of the hardest mechanically champs which makes it even worse
